TTC peanut where are you!?

Hi guys - I'm back (was hanging around last cycle, but took a month off the internet....) Just thought I'd pop by and say hi! I'm on cycle 11, few days away from testing. Lots of newer faces on here, I think - I recognize MolGold though!

Anyone else on here getting near the year mark?

Hey Kallie yeah I think there were three of us newbies that joined in just a couple of days haha.

I would wish you a happy anniversary but...

I'm on my seventh cycle right now, one early mc but other than that just AF after AF...

Hoping for a better month of June!

Haha, yes, happy anniversary to me!

Month seven is tough, it sucks when you pass that 6 month mark; the worst for me was cycle 9, because it was when I realized "Damn, I'd be having a baby near about now, this sucks!". I'm doing pretty good again this cycle. Kind of looking forward to the doctors 'letting' me get some fertility tests done, to see if something is wrong, and all that.

Nice to see newbies! I kind of am always a newbie because I can't log in as often as some people. But, keeps it fun right!

GO JUNE BABIES!

Also, sorry about your miscarriage! I haven't had anything like that happen to me, and I feel very lucky. I have friends that have had lost their pregnancies (or babies) and I can't even imagine how much it hurts.

Kallie I'm on cycle 11 also.

Maggz it's so frustrating to pay to go and they don't give a damn. Ugh. Hope the next doc will be helpful. My girl friend reccomended him.

Kallie I'm on cycle 11 also.

Hopefully this will be a lucky month for us then! Have you started looking into any kind of fertility stuff? Or are you doing the natural way (being as everyone actually recommends to try without fertility treatmentfor two years if you are younger than 35, but I am SO IMPATIENT!)

Yeah it was very sad and I hope I don't sound callous but I'm pretty much over it... I believe that there must have been something wrong since it didn't go any further, and although it hurt and I cried and mourned and all, I just want one that sticks now! :) I'm also very thankful that it was only on the sixth week, I can't imagine the pain if I would have been any more attached to that little bean.

Hope he's better than the last one Meg.

Kallie I did Clomid last month. I was going to do the pineapple trick this month but I think we can't try due to us being in our fertile window this weekend & I'm getting my uterus and ovaries flushed with a dye to make sure everything's flowing and not blocked. If they flush and the sperms up there I could end up with an ectopic pregnancy.
I think in going to try the Clomid again in July.

Maggz - I don't think you sound callous; everyone sees, feels, experiences everything in a different way! It is good you have a healthy outlook.

Meg - Did you have to seek out fertility drugs yourself, or were there other reasons for doing them before a year? I would really like to just start doing something (anything!) to feel like I'm getting closer to having a baby (other than tracking and vitamins, getting sick of that)

Just talking to my OB. He thought it was weird that we haven't used any type of protection in 6 years. The other thing was I have low progesterone so I think that helpped the case. You could ask your doc what they think about you using it.

Oh, gotcha - that makes a lot more sense. My doctor is more hesitant because we had never tried before, without birth control. I think I have low progesterone too (or something wonky) because I have spotting, light periods, and really short luteal phase all the time (11 days usually, as short as 8 or 9 days). I do seem to ovulate though, so not sure if Clomid is helpful for that?

I am going to pursue it a bit more right away, after my husband goes in for a semen analysis. Hopefully he gets right on that (he wants a kid as much as me!!)

Kallie have you had any blood tests? That's how they found I have low progesterone.
You can do that while he's doing the SA.

Hey there!

Kallie yes do go in for tests, if anything they ease your mind if everything comes out normal.
Meg and I both started clomid last cycle but BFN. This month is very busy for me with moving houses so I am thinking of putting TTCing on hold and getting my tubes scanned. This is because my harmone levels were great, DH's SA came normal and yet no bean :( I am in my 7th cycle TTCing.

@ Molgold! Yeah this is my 10th month. I'm taking it off due to the test.
I'm just done with the BFN's. I now referr to the F in bfn as a four letter F word that's not so nice. Lol.

Btw more news about the horrible OBGYN I'm leaving. So he was supposed to send an antibiotic to my pharmacy ( incase of infection ) they didn't. So my pharmacist called. They prescribed amoxicillin & I'm allergic.
Smh. 😡

Yes... MolGold! I'm in the same situation as you are! It is my TTC #1 since 10 months. My Hormone lvls are normal. I do O every month. DH's :spermy: are happy and strong! DH & I BD almost every alternate day!

Then what goes wrong? It is my 5DPO... with hopes again! But I am not willing to spot fake symptoms...

Hey ladies I am still around stalking everyone.. any questions please feel free to ask. I feel too bad hanging around too much... hope you ladies all the best with your test and everything... I know it's hard but just keep trying x

Well today I had my ovary test ( HSG )....not good news not bad news either.

#1 if you're going to do the test. Prepair to be mortified by the lack of personal boundaries lol.
The radiology tech was sooo sweet and nice the doc was great and showed me everything on screen and explained what we saw.
#2 it's not nearly as painful as expected. More awkward, slight cramping.
#3 on to the findings.
They had a hard time finding my cervix at first. They thought it was because I was on a X-Ray table so after some uncomfortable searching they found it. Inserted a rubbery syringe that blows up like a ballon into my uterus. Mind you I saw this whole thing!
In screen I could see my uterus. It was perfect shape and I could see one ovary. They're soo skinny. I wasn't expecting it.
The doc injected the dye and I watched it go right to the left side and out like it was supposed to. I did some wiggling and he did more searching even adding more dye but we didn't see a right side. At all. It didn't look blocked....it didn't look there at all. There was no mistaken it. the dye went to the top of my uterus there was a small point where it should have been but that's it.

The md tried to reassure me all I need was 1 working ovarie but I couldn't help but break down. I've always known since forever that something was wrong. It was kinda relieving...but still heartbreaking.so now I'm in a limbo where I don't know what's next. Does this mean I only fully O every other month? Will I have to do IUI or IVF? What?! What's next!

I have to wait until July 11th to figure anything out. I had to call my horrible OB bc he was supposed to get me an antibiotic & they hadn't !! So when my pharmacist finally called it in they gave her a script for amoxicillin I'M ALLERGIC! Oye vey!
I talked to a friend who's had a lot of fertility issues and she reccomended a fertility specialist. So I may go that route too.
It's been a draining week. Glad to be going away this weekend that's for sure.
Also I've started telling my closest friends about our issues and it really does relieve a lot of pressure.

Sorry for that long post. I reccomended everyone getting an HSG test done it's quick and a bit awkward but worth the answers plus it's not as weird as labor will be!

Heyo - BFN for me here too.

I haven't been tested for anything, progesterone or anything, but I have an appointment with my doctor to continue the process as soon as possible. Cycle 12, Day 2 today, yayyyyy.....

I definitely want to get going on that. At least we'd know whether it was something wonky, right?

Well good luck with your tests love! Hope you get them done sooner than later.
Btw great job on your weight loss!!! Very proud of you Kallie!

Wow Meg that's some big news to digest! I'm sorry that you didn't get better results, know that we're here if you want to talk about it more. Hopefully the active one is super active and you still o every month :)
Hugs to you :hugs:

Sheesh no luck for any of us this month I guess.

Kallie good luck with your appointment let us know how it goes!
