Welcome to the 'Two Week Wait'

i got cramps last cycle from day 9 or so.. i was so excited cause i thought it was a good thing (ie i never get af cramps that early). period ended up being a few days late and bfn which sucked.

just got back from my us. good omen in that i found a meter right in front with 32 min on the meter (33 woulda been better but close enough).
lining is 8.3mm (or so) got two 2.something eggs on the right, two small and unlikely to mature ones on the left.. so overall not as good however last time there was one giant one and 4 small, this time both are likely to go. trigger tonight for friday.. i think im totally doing us tomorrow at work cause if i see fluid around the cyst or it collapses, im so going over there to do the iui tomorrow..

Happy sweet pea, Laura! Happy lemon, Sarah!

Good luck dr.squid!

Hi ladies! Spreading some :dust: around. Can't wait for another BFP! :)

AFM: Still waiting for AF to leave. DH is protesting my BD every other day until ovulation plan. Apparently he thinks he can BD every day for two weeks. I think he's delusional...and if he's not, I surely can't go every day for the next two weeks. My parts would close up in protest. So, we'll see how it goes, but I'm feeling good about this month....

March seems like a good month for BFPs, so here's hoping I hear more good news from you ladies this month. :)

Hi everyone, stuck "taking it easy" today, halfway through my 2ww. Had a very low progesterone early this week, a week after my first iui. So I started progesterone supplement and started spotting an hour later. Maybe it was too late? Maybe it was implantation, maybe my unwanted friend is visiting early this month... So taking its easy and spotting has mostly subsided. Not a patient person, no test till next tues, almost a whole week! Anyone on the same sched?

Not in the same bit of the cycle but wishing you lots of :dust: all the same :hugs:

Ha Ha DBZ - you and your DH made me giggle. These men they are all or nothing!! :haha:

So just got back from the fertility Dr. After AF comes this month he is starting me on clomid to prepare for IUI.

:haha: You are funny! My DH just got on board, too (bc I told him man-tests required next month if no BFP). He started jumping me every night - for 3 nights. After that, every 2 days...for 4 nights. Then I had to go above & beyond for that "home stretch" (its a 10-dayer)

But, the good news is that they are on board now, right? :happydance:

Thanks trying to keep calm, need all the positive energy I can get! Took follistim for eleven days followed by a trigger. Did I mention I don't like needles? Quickly getting to used to that with all this going on!
I seem to get all the weird side effects, sleep walking on ambien, seeing auroras on clomid now getting dizzy and really tired from progesterone capsules. More spotting today, don't think it's a good sign but also no flow yet either, only six days to go...

Ha ha :haha::haha:

Thanks LilSluz. My fault for choosing a long username!!!!
When I came off the pill June last year I stayed at the 28 days roughly. Then after the miscarriage it has been less consistant an much longer. At least OPKs last month let me know I DO ovulate just late.

I am focusing on being healthy and I have my birthday later this month an a 10k race at the end of the month.

Have you got much going on this month?

T2BC :winkwink: - Wow - 10k race! You must be very healthy. :bodyb: Good Luck  Just make sure you don't get "too much exercise" on an ongoing basis (who wulda thought?) :nope: I do 2mi/day power-walking & wonder if its too much (30-40mins/day) Can't do anything can we?

Let's hope you get a nice bday present!!!:happydance::happydance::happydance: :dust:

Me - This month? My 2 little sisters are coming in for Spring Break this weekend. Great. I haven't done SB in - oh - let's say a really long time! But, I have 1 sister in college still, so I have to do my "sisterly duties" (the other one is just tagging along) :dohh: Oh boy...:nope: (sister time will be nice tho)

Do any of you ladies get mild cramps about a week after ovulation. Im not do for AF for another week or so & today I started getting mild cramps.. just enough to make me notice them I am very regular when it comes to my menses which is why I don't know if I should be worried..??????

Do you usually get those cramps, or is it the first time today?

No i never do which is why I thought it was odd!@ the past few days I have been feeling under the weather & since i work at a doctor's office I just figured I caught a bug from a patient. My stomachs been really week for the past few days too.

I'm 8DPO & have had a 5-day continuous cramp on left side. but I've also been feverish & have been taking both estro & prog cream last 5 days (1st time hormones). Not supp'd to get either w/hormone creams, but I'm not sick & started 3DPO (waaayyy too early for implantation), so

Hope its good & you don't even have to get your IUI! but its nice to know thats Plan B...:flower:

Aww mine started about 5dpo... Maybe its all in my head or maybe I am sick LOL. Who knows? Either way I hope both of us start feeling better soon & get a BFP :) (I'm kind of scared to start clomid cause of the horror stories) FXED

Cheers for this. Im only 1dpo and going crazy already. Im feeling hopeful this month and just want to test now lol.
Me too I am 1 week post ov and dying to test.. We used the clearblue fertility monitor and bd on the days we were high and peak... Crossing my fingers

lol! I think I should have been :happydance: ing when he said it because I have been waiting for him to TTC for months now but, I think my mouth just hung open and then I stared at him for a while. I can't see him lasting for the whole two weeks, but maybe we'll work out a compromise.

They are! First, I couldn't get him into bed because he wasn't "trying," now I can't get him out of bed. Even after ov, he was like....Hey, don't you need my swimmers for your egg? We should BD just in case. And that was at like 7DPO. :haha:

lol! Isn't that always the way. I think that's what might happen this month. Strong opening and then slowing down at the end. Last month, we did manage to BD everyday for like 5-6 days around ov, but that wasn't starting as soon as AF left. The 10 day stretch might be too much..but I think I can work out a compromise that is enjoyable for both parties.

But I am glad he's on board. It's nice to have him TTC...even if that means my lady parts are going to rebel at some point. ;)

hahaha i os love this forum everyone. i have done like 4 tests ...i am now about 10 dpo and hoping in the next couple of days to get a BFP...it would be good..
all the best everyone xoxoxo

ahh i just sat and read all those posts, im laughing my head off, my lady parts will start to rebel at some point hahaha i love this tread and you girls xxx

MissyhD & pcbs777 - welcome to the 2WW!

Hope your stay here is short & sweet! GL :dust:

Arr I'm only 8dpo but have poas addiction again and it's driving me mad!!! Been on compare supemarket website trying to find cheapest frers!! I have no IC's left - they were both negative/evaps today and yesterday. Now I just weeed on my last tesco cheapie and i don't like those! It was negative. I am resisting the only test left in the house - a clearblue digi - i can't take those words and i know they aren't so sensitive. It doesn't help that dh is spuring me on - he is off today and feeling as impatient as me! Arrrggg two week wait hurry up!!!!

Oh. That does not seem like much fun at all!! The things we go through eh? We all feel positive at different times which is why I find coming here so helpful, we all support each other really well I think.

:hugs:

Sounds like fun. We don't really have spring break over here.
Yes! I only really want one thing for my birthday. Bfp please
I am not mega fit and healthy but I am trying. I have been running for about 3 years now so as long as I don't suddenly up my mileage I should be fine. I have already done a half marathon and don't feel the need to do that again!
A couple of miles everyday is more than a lot of people do though. Sounds very healthy to me. X
