What Christmassy thing have you done today?

Motherofboys it's a start, don't push yourself too hard x

I am constantly de cluttering and clearing. I sorted out the living room a bit today, got to sort th girls rooms at some point.

I wrapped all the advent calendar gifts, they have 21 each as I've kept some bits for our craft box. DH and I popped to the shops (had a sneaky lunch without children) then looked at The Range Christmas section and I got the final three items for their advent :-D

Well done, I'll bet they'll love the gift advent.

I'm getting worried I'm not going to be able to do this winter wonderland thing with my mum. She hasn't booked it yet and I'm wondering how I can talk her out of it without upsetting her, but just a trip to the shops or couple of hours cleaning leaves me hobbling. It would be am hour train ride, plus under ground, then all the walking around all day. I'm not sure I'd make it home hahaha

Hopefully she will understand it might not be doable

I feel like I would be letting her down as I had to cancel plans we had in October as I just couldn't do the journey with feeling so sick and tired.

I messaged her and she said she was worried about me getting shoved about if it was busy so think she was having second thoughts herself.

Are you thinking about the one in Hyde Park. I'd maybe be honest with her as we went before children and it gets so so busy, constantly being pushed and shoved. We haven't been for years now (it's not far from my parents). I wouldn't go with my girls until they were over 10 and never a wekeend. Sorry I didn't want to put a damper on it as it is lovely and Christmassy but if you're suffering with hip/back you'll be in agony xxx

EDIT sorry just seen that you spoke to her x

Christmas letters have been written. Had to tell the girls to write something nice fires before saying what they 'want'.

Anyway DD1 asked for
LOL
Science Set
Giant Unicorn Teddy
Easel/Drawing Board
DS

DD2
LOL Doll
Glowsticks
Punch bag

Got all of those on my lists apart from the giant unicorn teddy. She saw it in ASDA and it's HUGE.

DH and I wrote a letter too. I doubt DH is on the the good list this year lol (long story) but he has asked for time with his family (sweet). I asked for time of fun and games and also slippers and lots of wine

Yeah it's the Hyde Park one. To be honest I wasn't sure how ds3 and ds4 would get on. It would be such a long day and ds3 has hypermobility as well. I didn't want to be back too late as ds2 has football the next day, and I could imagine them wanting to eat every minutes. It looks and sounds lovely, but I kept thinking about the pain and stress of it all. There's this Brewer's Fayre place we usually go to that has a mini soft play area which is much better for the younger ones, so hopefully we'll just end up there.

Yeah we knocked over a stand last week trying to put it back on the shelf. I don't think Santa can fit one of those on his sleigh

On my way to the ideal home Christmas show. We havr been going past 5-6 years (child and husband free lol).
Always really Christmassy and get to sample some food and drinks :-D

I always say I don't need to butbuy anything end up spending a small fortune.

Enjoy!

The kids were both staying out last night so this morning I have wrapped their main presents I always do these in a different wrapping paper and add bows. I don’t have bows right now but I have wrapped them. The paper was £1 I think from home bargains I love how shiny it is!

Wow I love that paper.

Ds3 and ds4 found ds4s shepherds costume from last year's Christmas play, so ds4 is now running round with it on singing a song about his sheep
