What time do you open gifts from under your tree Christmas day?

- I voted a bit later than most people. I have one kid that loves to sleep in no matter what day of year.

im normally the one waking the kids up at 6!! thats the latest i can hold off till, im such a big kid!

When i was a kid my brother and i would get up at stupid o clock - much to our parents disgust
Now DH & I get up when we feel like it  usually about 8ish!!!!!

we spread it out dueing the day we open some in the moring and same after dinner and some after tea so it not all over at once and we have more to lookforward to during day and i always save one for boxing day for them

We open ours xmas eve coz it's mums bday xmas day

we get one gift on xmas eve and we open the presents around 10am. We all like to sleep in :) There isn't that much to open either. The two older girls are getting so much this year that we saw no need to spend hundreds of dollars on them. So it will be a slow morning :)

i'm usualy waking the oh up at arround 7, having been awake for hours!!! i'm such a big kid....

Oh I'm between 2 times and don't know which to pick.....I'm gonna opt for 6-7 although by the time santa toys are looked at (we don't wrap those) it could possibly be 8-9 depending on whether we have breakfast 1st or not :D We normally do it all at once :yipee:

Usually about 7am >.< However, my mum is working until 3pm this year so she can have Amelies 1st Xmas off next year so we're waiting til she gets home until we open presents. Will be hard!

rosie is a tad more relaxed on xmas morning but usually between 7-8am.

i remember when she was about 3 yrs old she dived in all the presents started ripping them open in a frenzy, opening mine as well as all the rest of the families i learnt my lesson and bought a sack the next year with her name on it.
x

When I lived with my mum it was between 12-2 we opened our gifts - normally waiting for my dad to drag his lazy a*se out of bed!!!

Now Chris is so excited, he makes me get up early.....last year I think it was 7.30, a couple of years before it was 6am ish!

well i jump on Carlys bed around 6 so we can open them and then we both jump on OH to wake him up then open presents !

lol ^

I like to open them around 8am, but as Bethanie gets older I get more excited so no doubt this will get earlier. Im usually up at the crack of dawn on xmas day, my mum and brother would moan to stay in bed til at least 8am, and id be sitting alone waiting so i don't want that for bethanie!

I love christmas!

I voted 8 or 9. We usually get up at about half 8 and open them x

Normally between 6-7 but step mums working this year untill 2 so thats when we will open everything. Hate waiting tho!

We do stockings in the morning as soon as we get up and have made the coffee, then we get dressed and ready, and start preparing the Christmas roast. It's after dinner for us that we open the presents under our tree - about 3 or 4pm. Spreads the suspense out over the day and means it is not all over right away! We also go round my nan's on boxing day for the pressies under her tree! (from extended family) :happydance:

That's exactly what we do...stocking pressies with our bacon rolls and tea in the morning - whenever we get up. Then we get dressed and get ready, have Christmas dinner and then open our presents under the tree in the afternoon when we've all eaten. Will be a bit different this year though as we're going to my mum's for dinner and all Sam's presents from grandparents etc are under the tree so we'll probably open them just before we go (12ish)

Can't wait! :wohoo:

You could take them with you and put them under your mum's tree? Just a thought lol That's what I'd do as my mum has pressies under her tree for my younger brother and sister anyway (and me, my older brother and sister too!) - I love the whole present sharing bit of the pressies under the tree :D When I was a kid we used to sit in a circle and one assigned person share out the pressies in to piles for each person :D then we would go round the circle and open them taking it in turns; one present for one person one at a time hehehe :yipee: So exciting!!!!! :yipee:
