What is symptom spotting? I keep hearing people talk about it... And why did you have to do IUI if you don't mind my asking... OH and I are trying to find someone with similar problem as us so we can learn more about it as there is not much info about it that we can find online.

From what I gather, symptom spotting is just tracking any and every thing that goes on after ovulation. Like, changes in CM, sore breasts, nausea, etc... The normal symptoms and not so normal.

We had tried for one year to get pregnant, and my gyno referred me to a reproductive endocrinologist (RE) (fertility specialist). From there I had a hysterscopy, where they go in and look at everything. And clean up as well. Everything was fine. So, he said I have unexplained infertility . From there I tried naturally for two more months. After that I went back to him and decided to try clomid and IUI. My husband has no problems, and I on the other hand have had a LEEP procedure, they burned off the dyplasia. So, he said I may have week walls that hinder the sperm from getting to where it needs to go, yet there is no test for this. He also said I may have lazy tubes, and again there is no test for this. IUI will put the sperm at the top of my uterus and flood tubes. And ivf will bypass lazy tubes. This is my third IUI. Hoping for a bfp! So, all on all, there is no real reason why I am not getting pregnant.

Ok I was thinking symptom spotting meant spotting as in blood lol! I have had every symptom in the book now except sore boobs which is odd bc I always have sore boobs by now before AF and I would think if I'm pregnant they would be like double sore or something.

I promised myself I wouldn't because I had every symptom under the sun last month and then AF showed up right on time - turns out pretty much every symptom of pregnancy is also a symptom of AF so there's really no sense even thinking about it - and yet I can never help myself.

Only thing I'm sort of concerned about is lower abdominal pain - not like cramps, but actual pain. Last night I was lying on my back and hubby made me laugh and I had the WORST pain ever - very sharp and scary. It happened again this morning when I sighed really loudly. Since then it's been more dull, but noticeable. I am so worried about an ectopic now.

Anyway . . . don't symptom spot, ladies! It'll drive you crazy! Just live your life - it's only 2 weeks. Think about the last time you went on a 2 week vacation and how quickly that went

I can't help it! And this is NOT a vacation! LOLOL! I've had everything except sore boobs, which I usually get before AF so idk why they aren't here! The one symptom that really got to me is the other day I had a metallic taste in my mouth... I don't think that is also a period symptom, and I don't want to read too much into it, but I can't help it.

Yesterday I had HORRIBLE cramps. Af type but man they hurt!!! Today at 6dpo I have continued to have cramps on my right and left side, stabbing cramps that have hurt pretty bad. Also my headache just has not gone away and seems like its getting worse. I have had a lot of creamy white/yellow cm too that I've never had getting pretty anxious to test!!!

Well today I took a hpt- BFN! I took it because I thought I O'd sooner than I now think I did lol. And also I had a dream this morning that I took a hpt and got a BFP so I thought it was a good omen. Anyways now I'm thinking I'm also about 6 dpo so I'm hoping it was just too early for a positive... Been having all kinds of symptoms.

Hey everyone! I go to the doctor for my blood pregnancy test December 14! Today I did my second IUI! So, hopeful this time around.

I thought I was about 10, which is still too early lol. I used to be a POASaholic though, I'm a recovering addict so this is better than I used to be . I'm hoping all these symptoms mean something though (not AF)!

I peed on the stick and got a bfp within seconds, and hour later (just now) I peed on another and it was negative but nothing showed up in the control window (invalid)... do I doubt my bfp??? Or consider the second a dud?

Well if you did one an hour after the first, then your urine probably didn't have enough HCG in it to detect on a test. That's why they say to use FMU, I would go with the first one personally since there are very rarely false positives and the second was taken only an hour after that one. Go to peeonastick.com and it tells you which tests give false positives, negatives, etc etc. CONGRATULATIONS though!!! lol how many dpo are you??

Ignore the second test If nothing showed up in the control window than that test it completely invalid. You wouldn't have received a bfp on the first test unless you had hgc in your system !! You got a !!! What test did you use? I'm so excited for you!!!! Congrats!!!!!!!

well ladies i am holding strong i havent POAS yet.. i figure i cant sit around this time a stress myself out . but i also say that because i am havent had any real symptoms yet. it says i should test on the 9th . ... i think i may get a test .. just to see but i dont think i am ..

Most of my symptoms I've had have gone as well. The only ones still around are the pulling cramps and I had some nausea today... starting to think my body is tricking me.

Congrats to MissSarah! Never doubt a BFP - there's pretty much no such thing as a false positive. And the control window needs to have a line for the test to even be working.

In other news, I'm so depressed. Just really not feeling like it's our month. No real symptoms to speak of - except feeling so FAT that I want to crawl in a hole and die. So yeah, that coupled with all the newborn and baby bump photos on my FB wall - just kill me now.

I feel fat as hell too Turtle, and OH keeps commenting on me eating more than normal which doesn't make it better I wouldn't mind if I find out I'm pregnant lol. But I think it's too early for eating more to be a preg symptom anyway even if I was. Good luck though, don't give up!

ok so here is a new symptom , i dont ever cry or get emotional over shows or commercials/ but i just watched a little bit of glee. (now mind you i dont watch this show ever, my daughter wanted to watch it , she is 7) but towards certain parts of this show i was blubbering like a baby, i had to excuse myself from the room.. now to me this is weird. no other symptoms but that .. i say wtf ?!! how is everyone else doing?

ok so here is a new symptom , i dont ever cry or get emotional over shows or commercials/ but i just watched a little bit of glee. (now mind you i dont watch this show ever, my daughter wanted to watch it , she is 7) but towards certain parts of this show i was blubbering like a baby, i had to excuse myself from the room.. now to me this is weird. no other symptoms but that .. i say wtf ?!! how is everyone else doing?

I've been crampy, gassy (sorry lol), eating a lot, getting waves a nausea every now and then, and then this morning I had AF type cramps so I was sure I would either be having them through out the day or she would show up, but no. I'm waiting to see if she is here in the morning because she's usually never later than a day after the cramps. Oh and today, OH started kissing me and stuff all on my face and his breath smelled so bad to me that I started crying! WTF! If no AF then I'm hoping it was imp cramps, but I'm not too confident. fxfxfx

awwww nazz . i hope you get a BFP.. i am sorry for the symptoms, but i give you tons of baby dust..!!!!!!!!!
