My period has arrived, so my cycle was 34 days long...really really pleased with that, don't feel it's going to get much shorter because even when I've lost more weight than this my cycle was 33/34 days long.

So onto my first cycle of ttc again, wish me luck xxx

So much for me going for the relaxed approach, I've just ordered cheap opks off Amazon, and cheap pregnancy tests...the latter was a stupid move as I got loads of evaps when I used them before. Xx

Cookie, as much as I'd like to be able to be relaxed about TTC, I know it's just not in my nature lol. My personality is the opposite of relaxed and patient! I bought 50 OPKs on Amazon towards the end of March and I've already used a majority of them!

I've been having EWCM for the last few days and my OPK today was positive!! I've never had a positive without fertility drugs before! Hoping and praying it's the real deal and not a false alarm! I'm feeling some little cramps and twinges, so fingers crossed!

That's fab wanting, fingers crossed you are ovulating!! It's very possible that you are, as I said before a friend of mine needed fertility treatment to have her first but accidentally conceived number 2...and she hadn't had many periods either.

I don't think I could be relaxed, I like to take control of situations and with not knowing when my af will arrive I have no idea when ovulation will happen so I think I need the opks. I hope I won't be as stressed as I was last year when I was trying...but then last year I'd put weight on and I knew it would effect my chances, so with losing weight I'm in a much better position.

Hey am new at this so no idea wot am doing bt am jst lookin to chat with other people in same situation as me i have 3 year old son n we are ttc bby #2 period is 8 days late and gt a vry vry faint line on a asda test the other day then gt two more tests from boots and gt a neg so cld have bn an evap line so confused anyone eals had an evap on a asda test ?

Maybe the boots test wasn't as sensitive as the Asda one? Did the lines appear quite quickly or did you leave it a while and go back? Evaps tend to appear after they have been left awhile as they are caused by the urine drying. Superdrug tests are pretty sensitive and cheap, maybe try that or a first response. Fingers crossed for you. x

Thanx for the reply the asda one was done at nite n came up like after 5 mins bt i have a habbit of opening the tests up which i knw ur realy not suppose to do lol think i mite go get some supergrug ones nxt week if no af jst dnt want to get hopes up

Well apparently you can open them up, but if there isn't a line there when you open it then you should discard as the air making contact with the test strip can cause an evap. If the line was there when you opened it and within 5 mins of doing the test then it sounds positive. I've just looked it up and Asda and Boots are both 25 miu tests, so they have the same sensitivity, maybe you held your pee in longer when you did the Asda one? Superdrug tests are 10 miu, so they are the most sensitive you can buy over the counter.

I don't tell my hubby when I'm testing, I go through far too many. lol

I always test with him- I do it in the morning then crawl back into bed with him for the wait or to study it, but have only done it 3 times & 2 were successful pregnancies so might get fed up of doing that if we don't conceive soon!!! But I feel like it's an "us" thing & I want him to find out at the same time, if that makes sense! Plus it stops me doing a million tests! Ha ha ha

I used asda before & got bfps faint but visable clearly from 12dpo. I'd use FMU & more sensitive tests & see what happens. GL

Doing ok thank you trying to be chilled about it all this month as I was pretty stressed out last month. Think I'm gearing up to o judging by cm so trying to ramp up the bd from now onwards, so far was recreational on Sunday, then today- looking forward to a relaxed long weekend with plenty of BDing!!

A bit down today I found some browny cm so I'm sure af is on the way, super early again. I'm only 8dpo.

Then a close friend with a dd only slightly older than mine told me she's pregnant today. Another friend from Nct whose dd is a week
Older than mine had a son today. And another friend whose son is 2 weeks older than my dd found out she's having a girl today. Oh and tomorrow I'm meeting my best mate who was due 3 weeks after me and can talk about nothing but the fact that she's pregnant despite knowing what happened to me.

Apart from the friend who had the baby today who was due 5 weeks before me, I should be more pregnant than all of them. Sorry for the moan. I just feel so

I know how you feel, all the ladies from my postnatal group have now had baby number 2 apart from one who is trying and im dreading the announcement that she is preggers. I've even avoided a few meet ups because it makes me feel bad that I've not managed to have another. They keep asking about me having another, and I get sympathy looks and ahhhhhs like they think I need sympathy. To be fair for a long time I didn't want another but now I do I just want it to happen now.

Still got a while to wait for ovulation, I'm on CD 7 and ovulation should be somewhere around CD 21...Fed up of waiting already.

Plan - good luck with keeping it relaxed, it's not easy is it.

Have either of you tried SMEP?? I'm tempted to give it a try, although with ovulation being later and not actually knowing when it will happen I'm not sure when to start. Xx

No hun, since my mc I have a lp problem. Last cycle af came at 10dpo, month before 9dpo etc. af isn't here yet but the brown cm usually signals she's on her way. 9dpo today so she will prob come tomorrow. I need to go to the drs.

Smep is good! I did it both times I've got preg and will do next cycle. Xx
