witch got me ... but ... cd1 vitex

I've been TTC since last August. But prior to that I wasn't ovulating or anything so that's why I have already been on clomid. I've had bloodwork and my doctor has not said I have pcos or anything, and I've had two ultrasounds. The next step is to go see an RE and I decided I wanted to give it a try on more natural methods before I go see a specialist and I try more drugs. I felt horrible while on clomid, so I'm kind of scared to try anything else!

Flipporama that looks like a bfp to me! I have taken soy this month and currently awaiting ovulation, but have the vitex at the ready, would I be able to take once ovulation is confirmed maybe??

Thank you! From everything I've read you shouldn't use both in the same cycle. If you ovulate this time and catch the egg then you won't need the vitex at all. If not, start vitex cd1. Hth. ☺

Thanks hun I ovulate normally but struggle with LP so i think the vitex may be a better option for me

I agree with flip, don't use soy and vitex together. Vitex is definitely beneficial for LP. That was my problem, as well as ovulating late, and both are fixed now !! I've only been on vitex a month and a half. But it looks like this cycle is going to be on track, so far I ovulated on time which hasn't happened since I went off the pill. GL!

Ps. I can't really read your pics well but make sure you are taking at least 1000mg of the vitex. (Agnus) Some only come in 100 mg capsules but I take 4 capsules of 400mg each in the morning on an empty stomach with water.

I've read that vitex is like the natural supplement to cloud without all the side effects. I have zero side effects and I take 1600mg a day!! I hope you get some good news soon!

Welcome, 1nceUponATime. I really hope Vitex works for you too! Hoping it kick-starts your pituitary gland into regulating your ovaries so they start ovulating. FX that you get AF soon!

Flipporama - I love seeing your tests! Can't wait to see if tomorrow starts showing a darker line!

Twinsie - I actually remember my dreams quite a lot. My DH laughs because I always tell him my silly and crazy dreams, and he can never remember his. I don't usually have so many vivid dream nights in a row, though. Most nights if I remember my dreams, they're usually more vague and I forget what they were about pretty quickly. We'll see what tonight brings. In order for me to get an obvious pregnancy symptom it'll have to be full/sore boobs or bad nausea. I feel like I've had most of the other common signs! Hoping your CM and warm feeling are very early signs! I usually get a second wave of CM, and last cycle I had a warm day too. FX!

Me too! Still have cm but it's more creamy looking now. And only when I wipe, it doesn't really make it onto my underwear on its own. If that makes sense. I'm definitely feeling warm most of the day. And tired. But all those are not really out of the ordinary for me besides the more cm this month and that could just be from vitex. I'm not reading too much into all these things . I'm only 4dpo so I know it's way too soon to believe anything could be a sign of bring prego. This time next week maybe well see how I'm feeling. I am happy that it'll be the weekend when I either get AF or my bfp. Just seems easier being home!

What cd are you now? I'm happy the vitex made your cycle shorter too! At least you know this cycle now will be the best it's ever been! Good odds you will be ovulating before you know it! You gonna do smep? That was my intentions this cycle but DH couldn't keep up. Hoping what we did manage to do was enough but I don't think so. Although, It's easier to think I'm out and then be surprised. We shall see.

I'm on cd 4 started Vitex cd1 but AF pretty much finished usually much longer & heavier would this be down to Vitex? I'm hoping it will shorten my cycle as it was 45 days last month with ovulation on cd 33!

- Flipporama usually I'm rubbish with seeing the faint lines but can see something there fx its your bfp

I start using opks on cd10. Since you started vitex I honestly would start using opks next week. Vitex can work fast and you don't wanna miss ovulating if it the vitex helps you to O sooner than normal for you!

Officially ttc for 2 cycles. But ntnp for 4months. Vitex for the last 2 cycles and softcups

Not me. Read mixed reviews on that so didn't want to try two new things at the same time. I could certainly use the energy boost though!! Lol.
