~Yorkshire BnB'ers Chinwag~

hi everyone!!!

i havent been on in ages. we dont have an internet connection in our house downstairs so i rarely go on the internet now!! i keep up to date with a few of you on facebook but hope everyones well!!

Isabelle has turned into a little madame and now wakes around 2-3 times a night now after sleeping for 12 hours each night for the past 4 months!
last night was awful as she woke at 2am and wouldnt go back to sleep for 2 hours until i fed her! shes really reliant on using a bottle/breast to go to sleep so im trying a new thing of putting her down when she is awake so she will learn to settle herself. I hope it works cos im exhausted!!

going on a date with hubby tomorrow night and isabelle is sleeping at gran and grandads! were just going to Frankie and Bennys in Selby and home to watch a film and have a bottle of wine!! cant wait!!

xxx

Is she in her own room or still in with you?

Enjoy the date!

Oh the night out sounds like a good idea. Will this be the first time she stays out for the night?

Hello mummies - I am being a slacker and not popping in much either but my lack of sleep is frying my brain lol...........

Currently thinking of moving at some point soon(ish) - despite having just slogged for our extension and bathroom of dreams for me  hate my neighbours tbh and would rather not have any :haha:

Looking towards somewhere either Wakefield way, or certainly no further from Wakefield than we are now in wombwell - hubby has just started a new job near Normanton.

Anybody over that side and any recommendations on areas to look at....?

Hubby went to school over there but its been a while since he was there, and I don't have the foggiest  we definitely want to have moved before we have to start applying for schools for Dylan at any rate so it gives us some time to play with.

How are you all doing? :flower:

hey ladies. I keep forgetting to pop in here too, how are you all? No suggestions re wakey i'm afraid, don't know the area at all but good luck in moving away from your neighbours, it's awful having rubbish people living next door! Xx

Morning everyone hows you all doing?

Think we are going to go for a carvery today, mmm! Nathan is being a little beggar at the moment. He is in to everything and we are just running after him 24/7. This really is where it gets hard for the next few years!

Me and hubby are thinking of ttc number 3 though now as he has been diagnosed with hypothyroidism and it can reduce your fertility and neither of us really want to wait much longer as the older i get the more i feel like another would be too much hard work.

S-J sound like you have been having some great fun at the classes you have been going to! Have you made any mummy friends?

Chellie how is pregnancy going?

Laura how are you finding being a Mrs? Do you keep saying your maiden name by mistake?

Lia i know nothing about Wakefield except it is a good night out LOL...

Katie how is Chloes walking coming on?

Good luck when you start TTC :flower: Aimee :flower: Enjoy the calvery, sounds nice where you going? We usually end up at a Toby Calvery or the 3 Nuns lol.

Chloe is doing really well with her walking, she was really steady until last weekend when she grew practically an inch in the space of a few days and since then she's a bit more wobbily. It doesn't help she is trying to run rather than walk, well, speed walk more like. She was darting around the room yesterday aiming for me as a crash pad :haha: At least she has figured to head for something soft! When we are outside at the moment she takes it a bit more steady thankfully!

Trying to think of things to do at a weekend. We took Chloe to the park yesterday which was nice but weekend upon weekend I just get stuck in cleaning and I'm seriously beginning to feel depressed about it, cabin feaver is setting in. OH is never bothered at a weekend or always tired, he gets to go out on his days off so I think that makes me feel worse. Anyways, sorry for the moan!

Hope everyone is enjoying their day :flower:

I am hating the weather, so hard thinking of things to do  LO being super clingy today :dohh: (clinging to my nipple lol, not me :haha:)

Aimee how is your DH getting on with the thyroxine? I always felt it never made a difference - UNTIL I missed it for a few days and realised it clearly was :haha:

:hi: :hi: everyone

:hi: It's so cold isn't it! Had 10 layers on Chloe this morning, or it seemed it :haha: Little madam won't keep her mitts on either, her hands went blue the other day. I wish they did coats like those PJ tops where you can have an integrated mit!

Hope your LO gives you a bit of a break :flower:

They do but at a serious premium - MIL got us one from a specialist walking shop for LOs (early) xmas pressie!

Can u stick them on with duct tape???? :haha:

:dohh: That's just typical!

She is a monkey with them, I have single ones and the ones attached to the coats but she just pulls them off. I put blankets over her and she still pulls her hands out. I feel so bad that her little hands are so cold, the other day they were going blue :nope:

i struggle with dylan at the mo as I usually sling him, but he likes to poke his arms out - and take his hood off :growlmad:

How are we all? Dyl is snoozing in my lap so I have 5 mins :haha:

Off to Harrogate tomorrow for the day, hoping the weather improves :haha:

Growth spurt of doom just ended here.......and he put on 10oz in a week :happydance: little fatty is 14lb 1oz now :cloud9:

Hope you are all good :flower:

hiya. Growth spurt still going on here, had a rubbish night's sleep and feel a bit poorly this morning, munks has got a bright red cheek too so not quite sure what that's all about. I love harrogate, not been for ages so have fun. We're off to a baby class this aft, jolly babies (which may be the biggest load of irony if he gets his grump on!).

:dohh: grumpy munks! hope you feel better or it will be grumpy mummy too!

Dyl is also sporting red cheeks and having trouble with his gums bless him :nope: gumming his hands so much he keeps gipping :dohh:

We have booby group (bf supprt :haha) this aft which he always sleeps through.

ah bless him, little dylanquent! :) wonder if that's what's going on with charlie? I wish he could tell me, it'd make life easier! My uncle is on this morning at 10.50 talking about his new film with my cousin, am not moving till i've watched that anyway x

That sounds exciting!! *switches off cbeebies and puts grown up telly on* :haha:

Honestly its awful having to guess what they want at the minute isn't it - yeah he is drooling like mad, properly biting down on everything and crying quite frequently. No temperature though, and seemed to stop instantly when I nabbed him with the bonjela last night  Bless them!

My brother is driving me mental at the min....he is just turned 18 but really isn't that grown up....and he is upping sticks, sacking off his college course after a year and a half and moving to Newcastle to be with a girl he has met 3 times.... and broken up with as many times.....absolute fool :dohh:

Nothing is entertaining him this morning :dohh: haven't resorted to the neglecteroo again yet though :haha:

i always feel lost when i have mornings like that, when nothing entertains him. It's usually because he doesn't want to be sat down, he wants to be held by me when i'm stood up so he can do his meerkat bit and nosy at everything! :)

Snap - he loves my mum as she will stand up holding him. I can when he has let me have some sleep haha.

He is rocking out in the jumperoo happily now - he blooming bounces even when hes not in it lol.

Ray Winstone is your uncle?? How exciting!

yep :) am very proud, and he loves charlie to bits. Slipped him a twenty to 'buy some sweets' when he met him! Am gonna have to get me a jumperoo! Xx
