Your first AF after MC

Whe your first AF come. Did it come in sequence with your usual AF?e.g. usual AF comes on 20th of month or there abouts, 1st af after mc come on 18th of the month maybe?

I had D+C because of MMC with twins on 12th Jan and atill no AF!

We are not taking precautions, so not sure if AF is going to come.

Can anyone help?

I had a nat m/c when I was 5 wks.

I m/c around boxing day and had my first AF 6th Feb. Prior to my m/c I was having AF every 4 & 1/2 wks so AF was about 2 weeks later than would have normally been for me but in line with what the EPAU told me when they discharged me.

If I were you, then Id wait {easier said than done} til approx 6wks from the D&C and if AF hadnt shown by then i'd do a hpt then, obv if ur concerned in the mean time perhaps check with ur doc.

Thanks chick. I have done a test and it is a BFN! So not got caught yet but could be too early to tell.

Will ahve to wait and see i suppose!

My arrived 28 days after ERPC. But I was warned that it could take much longer than a normal cycle.

I mmc at 12wks, before erpc i was regular 28 days.

After the procedure 1st a/f didn't come for 8weeks, as we decided to wait until after 1st a/f i knew i wasn't pg so the waiting wasn't easy. 2nd a/f was 19days later and now am currently on CD29 so my cyles are taking there time in getting back to normal.

My period has always been really regular, maybe not exactly, but I always get it within a day or 2 of when I expect it - I usually have around a 27 day cycle. When I had my ERPC after my MMC, my period arrived exactly 5 weeks later. I think I may be back on track now with my 27 day cycle as I think I'm due to ovulate tomorrow (fingers crossed) and, if that's the case, then I'll probably have a 27 day cycle again. When I had my miscarriage, I ov'd about 3 weeks later and my period arrived 13 days later which is what I was before so I think I can assume that my periods arrive on time after ovulation at least.

Perhaps you are pregnant again but I'd give it a couple of days as my first AF was late. Good luck x

I lost our son 12/6 had period 1/12 but nothing since.. But i do have to add i did have surgery on my cervix on 1/21 so that could be why to goin on cycle 34 was 28 pre m/c.. *sigh* so i know how aggravating no af can be!

My AF came about 23 days after I first started bleeding during m/c, its about where my cycle was prior to mc. It had decreased a bit from 28 to 25 to 23 days though. Right now i'm waiting to see if i'll ovulate, wish me luck!

In a similar position, had nat m/c on 16th january and not using precautions, thought I'd ov'd but now cramps etc have all stopped and no sign of anything either way. Did a test and it was BFN so I guess its impossible to tell when the will show.

Guess everyones different?
Don't know if you get early pregnancy symptoms the same as if you hadn't m/c or would they show just the same?

My af's come 5 days later than normal both times (after my d&c's). So instead of a 30 day cycle i had a 35 day cycle with the day of the d&c as cd 1.

My second af (today came on as normal- 13 days after, i ov'd so at least my luteal phase is back to normal) although i ov'd early this month and had a 28 days cycle as opposed to a 30..it just takes time i guess.. Very annoying though, nonetheless

Both of mine came later than my normal AF but roughly 28 from the start of the miscarriages xxx

Hi, there. Not been on a while as just got back from hols. Mine came on 28 days exactly after my D&C but my periods have always been really regular. Could your body just be missing one cycle? I'm sure you said that you were irregular before? Or pregnant? Sorry can't be much help. Hope it comes soon x

Hi hunni. Got my BFP yesterday on first response and clear blue digital (1-2 weeks).

So happen thats why i never had AF for 42 days. Have to have bloods tested on Friday to make sure everything is progressing asit should, so fingers crossed.

That's GREAT news!!!!!! Congratulations! It will be interesting to see how far along they put you since you haven't had AF since your miscarriage. Stay positive!
