It's Sunday night here and back from our weekend away. Luckily my nausea wasn't too bad so don't think anyone would have guessed! Still getting really hungry but if I keep my belly content I don't really suffer nausea.

How are you guys all feeling?

Bella- I saw in your other post that you daughter thinks baby is a boy! I had a strong feeling I was carrying a boy with my DS but not having any "feelings" yet about this one...

Ruby, glad nobody suspected!

I went over a friend's house for a pool party, and lots of photos were taken... Looking at the photos, I swear, I totally look pregnant guess I can't hide the bloat in a flowy shirt when I have to wear a bathing suit. A couple of pregnancy things were said about the other ladies there, such as "remember at our last pool party, so & so didn't announce yet she was pregnant with her son, but I knew it because she kept putting her hand on her belly!" Stuff like that.... I haven't seen these friends in a while - maybe they all think I just got chunky

Hahaha, I am sure you feel bigger than what you are! I find in the morning my tummy looks normal, then after dinner I have a real pot belly!

My OB called this morning and moved my appointment up to this Friday! I am stoked and hoping she wil use the ultrasound machine in her rooms to show me bub! Hopefully it will stop me stressing so much! Dating scan is still the following Thursday though.

wahh! i'm not even 5 weeks yet! i feel like this pregnancy is going to crawl!!

i'm hoping i see the heartbeat at my scan on 8/14. i'll be 6+1. with my son, i was 7+2 for my first scan, so i've never had a scan this early!

Oh Bella- sorry! It sucks yours got pushed back. I was actually thinking last night that I may not get to see much if my OB even ultrasounds me. She only has the belly one in her rooms and last pregnancy my 8 week u/s was a vaginal one. So not getting my hopes up! Does anyone know if a Doppler can hear a heart beat at 7.5 weeks?? I really need reassuring!

Thanks Ruby! Sorry to complain - I should just keep my mouth shut I am happy for you that you're getting in sooner! Great for reassurance! As for the Doppler, I never used an at-home version. I heard too many horror stories of mamas panicking when it's not working right & they can't find a HB, or are picking up their own HB, and there are some who say it's bad for baby to use it too often. I just steer clear! I'm not great with technology - too much can go wrong with that! but good luck to you with it! I hope it brings you reassurance!

Thanks, to be honest unless she scans or uses the Doppler I won't be that reassured until my scan the following week. I steer clear of using a home Doppler too- I'm way too much of a stress head!

Still feeling so hungry but trying so hard to eat healthy as I can- except for red velvet cupcakes that is 😜

Let's hope 1st trimester flies for all of us! Who is going to find out the sex? We definitely will! I think of it as like a mid pregnancy surprise!

I'm sad to say we probably will find out the sex this time... I hated being team yellow at the beginning of my pregnancy last time, but I grew to love it! Being told it was a girl in the delivery room is a moment I'll never forget! This time, I just think there's too much to stress me out & needing to prepare for this little one will outweigh the want for a surprise in the delivery room. I have a feeling I'm going to be a sobbing mess when the day comes for us to find out though... Because I'd love another surprise!

That's interesting Bella! I loved my half way surprise with DS and I felt it helped me bond with my son more when pregnant. Everyone is so different with their decisions regarding the sex. I can imagine how special it would have been though after giving birth and finding out you have a little girl!

Welcome sweets! My DS was due March 6th 2014 but decided to come January 31st 2014 instead! So we are very similar! I am also nervous about having 2! My son is such a busy toddler, but has always been a good sleeper so I am freaking out I will get a baby that doesn't sleep! I am not good with no sleep so dealing with 2 while sleep deprived terrifies me! hahaha!

I had a little spotting so I went into the emergency room. They did an ultrasound and found that the baby looks a bit small (but my cycles are 34 days so that makes sense) but they also found a hematoma which doesn't look too good. I've been told I have a high risk of spontaneous miscarriage

I'd like to join! I'm also expecting #2 (biologically). My son was born in November 2014 and now I'm due 3-22-16. They will be 16months apart. I'm very nervous about how close they are going to be! But I know I'm not the first!

:wave: Hi & welcome amytrisha & rhapsodi! I am also very nervous about having another baby. We planned this pregnancy, but I'm still afraid of taking time away from DD. I've been assured they will love each there & all will work out in the end!

apaki - Hun, I am SO Sorry to hear that news. Is it something that can happen anytime in the pregnancy, or if you make it past a certain point does the risk of the hematoma affecting it go down?? Praying for you & your baby Hun. I hope all works out for you!!! we're here if you need to talk about it!

Ruby - my little lad was an awful sleeper he's literally only just started sleeping 'ok' he sleeps 8-7 85% of the time haha but the other 15% he'll wake once or twice, so I'm praying for a good sleeper this time

Sounds totally normally to be nervous second time then! My fear is also that he'd be left out, Finley goes crazy if I sit down for 5 minutes so can't imagine what he's gonna be like when I'm trying to feed LO lol but he'll be starting nursery the month after so I'm hoping that helps him (so nervous of that too)

Have any of you had your scan date? Mines 26th!

Ive had no bleeding today so I'm hoping things will work out. I'm just scared I'll see no heartbeat next week
