2021 Christmas Countdown - 1 day to go!!!

Can't believe there's less than 2 weeks now! We are almost in to single figures.

Same! I am hoping to make a start tomorrow. At least my aunt's present to the US was posted last week, as was the parcel to my BFF in Switzerland. I am still waiting for something I ordered for my mum but that is coming from the US so I think I will just have to post her other things and tell her that one will be late

I got most my wrapping done the other day but still have dd2 to do, I was going to try and do hers tonight but she's she's unwell again with a stinking cold (second in two weeks) so sleeping in my bed poor thing. Hopefully she's better tomorrow xxx

I tried to make a start on wrapping about 2 weeks ago but then discovered I could only wrap the 3 birthday presents I'd bought and two of the Xmas presents. None of the other gifts were totally complete

I managed to pick up a gift for the teacher quickly this morning (school ends on Wed), as well as one addition to one of the other gifts.
Had wanted to do more of the shopping now thus morning quickly but am watching my son's sports day. Had hoped he'd run near the beginning but they seem to be starting with all the loooong runs so I might be here a while still.
Hopefully what I don't get done today I can do tomorrow morning quickly.
Dh wants to put through another Takealot order today as well so that will also cover a few things for our kids.

Eek 12 days!

I landed up spending most of the morning at Logan's sports day, but managed to quickly zip off to the one shop for half an hour before fetching Dylan.
Dh also put through a takealot order so between those two things I am now feeling much more prepared. I just made a list of everything we've bought/ordered for our kids and I'm happy. There are still one or two top up things I still want to get, but the bulk of it is done which I'm relieved about.
We landed up splitting the order over two orders as some things have a delayed shipping date, saying they will arrive on the 24th. That's cutting it a bit fine so we grouped those items in one order (just 3 items) and all the rest in a separate order which should arrive by the 20th. So if those 3 are delayed past Xmas for whatever reason at least we will still get the other items in time.

Had to keep DD2 off school again. She's got a slight cough and school won't let her in (even with negative LFT) so I've booked her a test, even though I'm sure it's a cold (she has stuffy nose, sore lips and slight cough) .
Hopefully she'll be okay and can go back end of the week, if not I'll have her home now until January (and beyond most likely!)
