So you guys... do you pay much attention to the news etc? Just to share something sort of sad/interesting... The whole Penn State situation right? The coach who was fired because he knew the coach that worked for him was molesting boys for like 20 years and did nothing about it? well... I came into work today and I have 3 teenagers in jail for nearly beating to death 2 gay students at their school... because they feel gay = child molestor... Its amazing how this case is affecting people coast to coast... and how no matter how far we move forward as a people we can always manage to take 10 steps back! What you do yall think?

Its just so sad to me on so many levels.

Gah that is horrible..... I've had some amazing gay friends and to stereotype any gay person in that way is awful. What about church pastors who've supposedly been well loved throughout their community for 20 years and then all of a sudden they get arrested for child molestation and a computer in their home turns up with millions of photos of child pornography!? I've heard about cases like this MORE than once.... I had a classmate in college who was a POLICE OFFICER. He seemed like a nice guy but I always felt uncomfortable around him. Not sure why. Well, one semester later he ends up in the paper for molesting his STEP DAUGHTER! 9 times out of 10 gay people are the LAST people you will ever have to worry about!!!!!!

I have too... and trying to explain to people that child predators have nothing to do with sexual preference is almost impossible. the kid says to me "If you stick it in ________ youre gay!" And theres just no getting thru to them that its got nothing to do with that! Just as a man who is attracted to women isnt going to be attracted to my 4 year old daughter unless he is mentally ill and a child predator. Mental illness has nothing to do with sexual preference and child predators are clearly SICK and depraved. But now its just going to spiral down to the communiities and give people something else to fight about and ruin their lives. These three boys are now in the system because of their ignorance and no doubt the ignorance they have been taught by their parents. Its such a vicious cycle! I bet hate crimes go WAY up for the next few months as an aftermath of this situation.... NOT TO MENTION what will become of the boys who were abused? Many of them will probably become abusers. Its just a terrible plight!

Sorry for the dark cloud of doom, lol.... doesnt anyone have any mystery lines they can post or something!??!?!? haha.... HEY Im kinda more depressed about this job today then I usually am... its a symptom! Im pregnant!

LOL I'll come with you and help you fight off the polar bears We can teach our kids to make fur coats and ice fish! I took a test the other night when my sister did cause we thought it would be fun, but it's still the same shade as the one I took at like 6 weeks. I guess for me the FRER just stops getting darker at a certain point lol.

and hot damn..You know I dont pay much attention to the news, so I had no idea what the whole penn state thing was about it. holy crap! and those kids...well my word..I have no words, I can only shake my head that ignorance and hate people breed.
Im sitting here thinking back to the day my IL's came to visit and my 5yr old Lucien, who like 3 at the time had red nail polish on his fingernails/toenails. and my ILs asked if he was gonna out like that. I was like..umm ya..WHY??!?! theyre like well he's a boy...and Im like..errrrrrrrr, and your point would be WHAT exactly?!?!?! who cares if he's a boy, he likes nail polish. Im certianly not gonna tell he CANT wear it cuz he's a boy. his antomny dont make him or break him. and who cares what any A-hole out there might think. they can screw'em selves all I care. my kid wants nail polish n, so nail polish it is. and they were kinda slack jawed at that..anyways, my point is..they are unitarian and very open to most everything. and it was astounding to me they would find issue with nail polish. I was really sadden by it. I can only imgine what kind of things those 3 kids heard at home that brought them to the conclusions they came to. on the other hand..they reached the age of majority and were past time to question any irroneous belifes..so Im left thinking they are weak willed and scared...which is just as sad as knowing there natures made it possible combined with the things they heard or learned to produce such voilence.

I TOTALLY agree! Its like old school adults think if you stifle it it wont be... meaning, they are thinking that if you let him wear nail polish he is going to be gay, but if you tell him no then he will miraculously be straight instead... like some how we make these choices for our kids or something? Well, we dont. If our children are gay they will be gay whether we let them wear nail polish or not... and just because they want to wear nail polish doesnt mean they will be gay! Its this kind of thinking that totally f*cks up the world, and believe me I know.. I wake up every day and go to work to find out what kind of f*ckery someone did to their children to make them either into the depraved child they are, or the depraved adult... one way or another I know this for sure- its got nothing to do with nail polish! and you put it so well- totally weak willed and scared and then you have to decide what is going to potentially save this young persons lives (and the potential lives he may go on to destroy someday, which REALLY is the goal of people like me to try to steer our future in a better direction... because what we choose today, WILL affect our crime statistics later). Sigh.... Polar bears dont sound so bad after all!
