    Hey all,

I am in pretty bad pain when I'm not laying down. I feel like the top of my stomach, like my muscles, are ripping apart and burning. Baby is moving fine, but my gosh OW!

Any ideas? I want to so badly take ibuprofen but I know I can't, and tylonel doesn't do anything :/

I am having this too :(..... I don't think it's muscle seperation though. I think it's just baby getting too big for my body :dohh: It feels like a stitch all around my ribs, from front to back. It is eleveated when I lie down or stand straight, worse when I drive or sit in the car!

It does sound like abdominal separation (diastatis recti). Physio and swimming helps and you can get a support bandage (got mine from physio) if you don't feel too big to wear it.
