Agnus cactus and PCOS

I really want to try this.

I have super long cycles, very irregular.

I've had 6 periods in the last 2 years:
03/10, 9/10, 11/10, 01/11, 06/11, 09/11.

I tried taking soy at the beginning of this cycle, but nothing.

CD 35 right now. :\

I'd go for it hun. Look in to what it can do to help with PCOS and other womens problem. I didn't believe it could work for me but it's doing some thing. I've been getting cramps since Sunday and I used to get cramps 3 days before my period so I'm hoping af comes soon. :hugs:

I think I'll nip into town and get some soon...I used to take something called PMS Harmony that did really well for regulating me (as far as I can remember :haha: )

I also have PCOS, we started trying for baby #2 in April but i hadn't had a period since November so i knew it was kinda pointless. I actually went back to my doctor as i was on clomid to have my son but they said that i need to be trying again for at least 12-18 months before we are reffered to the fertility clinic and i am fumming at my self for loosing my left over 4 cycles of clomid from last time.

I used AC and i had my 1st period, i don't know if i ovulated but the cycle was VERY short... I swear by it. I missed it this month because so much happened and i forgot to take it so i will start taking it again once i double check i'm not pregnant this month (i highly doubt i am).

I look forward to watching everyone's progress on it.

I am going to try and loose some weight as i was told that will help with TTC and also the spots and excess hair.

Now I realllly wanna try it. I've had 6 cycles in the last 2 years. Maybe this could help. :)

No word of a lie, since starting my periods at 14, i have probably had less than 15 total... I take 2x 400mg twice a day and i think its really amazing. It's worth ago :flower: Keep me up dated if you try. xx

I sure will!

I've now been on the AC for 4 weeks and hoping I get a period. I've had it with all this :coffee: But I know it's all part of ttc. If your thinking of taking AC I'd say go for it.

I suffer from PCOS to & had AF 2nd Sep 2011 then last Wednesday I started taking AC I then had AF show up on Tuesday, I think the AC had alot to do with this as I more than likely wouldn't have had AF for at least another 2weeks normally! I have no idea when I ovulate but i'll be testing from a week after this period. When should I stop taking AC or should I take it throughout my cycle?

Keep taking it through your cycal and good to hair that the AC is working for so many of you. I'm still waiting for AF to show. Not long now I hope.

I start taking AC on day 1 of my cycle then take it up till ovulation then no more till again until day 1 of cycle again if that makes sense. Everyone has different ways of going about using it but i was told by the women in holland and barrets to only take it up until ovulation. She advised me to take my temp too but to be honest, i am lazy and never remember so i just stop taking it at day 14 x

Hmm thanks for the advice guys :) Well I had my AF last week for 5 days which has always been the same amount of time even when I didn't take AC. I think i'm going to carry on taking AC throughout my cycle for the next 2 months as me & my partner are waiting for it to kick in until we start trying again. In that time i'll work out my ovulation dates and then hopefully I can stop taking AC around the time I ovulate and hopefully we will have some luck :)

it took me over 3 yrs to get pregnant with my 23month old and that was after 6 months of clomid a HSG temping charting etc when I got my BFP I had been taking AC for about 3 months Im not saying thats what got me the BFP but I think it helped :)

DH wants us to try some agnus cactus!

:happydance:

Thats good then Rin731. I'm still waiting for af to show her ugly face but if she doesn't soon then thinking a test could be a good idea.

Goodness knows when we'll start AC...I'm on CD 42 or something, with no cramps, no sign of :witch: (and let me tell you- mine are HORRID so I know when she's coming...)

I did have 2 :bfn:s last week, so I guess it's the irregular waiting game. Blah!:growlmad:

I know that one and it does mine and the other halfs heads in big time we were hoping to pregnant by now in time for xmas but I don't think it's going to happen. But he's still thinking that it will bless him.
