anyone got pregnant after ovarian drilling?

Sasha I know it's so dis-heartening but like you say; hope

Afm. Docs today for hubbies results. The sample in October showed 74m so great amount but poor fluid quality, but the results from this month showed only 14m so low. Then marker he said was over 20m

It's the lesser of the 3 evils, I'd rather low count than low mobility or morph whatever it is.

But either way we've been reffered back to the specialist for next step and I guess IVF. appointment 8th. December.

And Paris clearly wasn't magic as spotting began yesterday 13dpo, temp plummeted today and spotting getting heavier.

Perhaps we will get a Christmas surprise.

I'm so fed up though tbh.

Hey daisy I'm sorry that spotting started. I'm also leaning towards ivf. I'm going to my doctor and see if a stronger fertility meds work before I go to ivf. Looking at next May or June. When are u looking at? I need to save a lot!

Well, my appointment is 8th December, it's the same specialist who did my drooling op. So I'm guessing we'll start straight on it.

I have no idea how many rounds we get on the nhs

Hi ladies I haven't dropped by lately as I have been looking at threads to do with gonal-f injections which I was due to start but because af hasn't arrive I haven't started yet. I can bring on with prevera but as silly as it sounds - I don't want to have to try and take the injections with me if my period comes this weekend as I'm going 6hours from home to see Katy perry!! The injections have to stay in the fridge unfortunately so it will have to wait a week. I see some of you thinking IVF but have you tried injectables yet?? I was thinking ivf but my FS said to try gonal-f first. Fingers crossed you get your bfp before having to pay for Ivf.

Sasha is there much of a difference with gonal and menopur?? I am scared to start the shots especially being so expensive. The drilling didn't work for me unfortunately but we are willing to try anything at this stage.

Hey girls! Sorry it's been so long. Was trying to wait out the tww without checking the Internet like crazy. Well it didn't work. 2nd round of clomid after od didn't get me my bfp. Af is showing her ugly face today. On a positive note from my temp and af starting right when she should, pretty sure I ovulated again. Will get my progesterone results Monday since the dr office was closed for the holiday weekend here on Thursday and Friday. Hopefully my levels were higher. Well moving on to the next cycle. Hope everyone's doing ok.

Hey ladies. Sorry its been a while I just couldn't bring myself to come on bnb.

I am on the verge of giving up.

17.5 months since my last pregnancy ended and absolutely nothing since.

I just feel like nothing is working for me and nothing will because we can't afford to fork out 5k for IVF and there is a chance that won't work even if by some miracle we do afford a cycle.

I just have no fight left in me at all.

I feel completely defeated and if I'm totally honest I feel useless. I could just cry.

AF should be here next week. Don't even know what cd I am because I gave up charting, temping and even trying. I did get a pos opk about a week ago after 3 days of testing so I don't even know if I have ovulated.

Sorry for the rant but nobody else knows all the troubles we're having and the things we've tried.

Got my progesterone results back. It was 23.4 which the dr is pleased with. He's going to keep me at the 100 mg of clomid. Today's cd3 so will start it today. Hoping this cycle is my lucky one.

hi ladies, i was silent reader of your thread.should tell you that your experience did help me alot.i did my OD on aguest.mu ovaries was so terrible that the surgeon did make 6 holes instead of 3 which she normaly use to do .had a BFP on a late ovulation(around cd22) sadly miscarried.but unblievably got a BFP again. i couldnt believe because i didnt have any EWCM and opks wasnt so dark!!! i like to share with you some of thetips which helped me to concieve :
stoped temping.it was too much stress for me.instead of it had sex every other day in my fertile window.
bding at night not morning
unfortunately on late ovulation because of ovums low quality its harder to concieve. so try to balance your ovulation with supplements as vitex.

Hi ladies,

Just a quick update. Specialist today. Saw his assistant not him. Apparently when he did my ovarian drilling and the rest. Even though I asked him at follow up were my tubes clear and he said yes. He didn't check my tubes and apparently didn't do the drilling for fertility he did it for painful intercourse. I'm sorry but WTF.

So anyway, now they want to scan to check my tubes, then if all clear clomid, I questioned what was the point of clomid when my levels are great. But that's the route they want to follow. I'm pretty peeved tbh, but hey it's another step. And you never know. I'm 6 dpo today. My temp shot up yesterday from 36.22 to 36.41. Whilst it normally rises 5dpo, 6dpo it normally drops, but today it rose again to 36.44. It's really to early to be anything at all. But I'm praying for a Christmas surprise.

I want nothing more than to give hubby a box with a BFP inside.

On another note I went for a tarot and without me saying a word, she picked up the cm, the treatment and said a girl was on the way, could be soon could be a while off, but it would happen. So fingers crossed she's right and sooner rather than later.

Hey Daisy! Really hoping those rises are a good sign. Hoping you get a Christmas miracle I know they say women have a higher chance of conceiving after they flush the tubes. I had my hsg before the drilling so at the time had no egg to catch. Hoping you already caught yours though
Afm- went in for my cd10 ultrasound this morning. There was a 14 year old nursing her baby in the waiting room. Then I was listening to another girl tell the other lady's if her dogs don't get along with her baby once it comes, she'd rather get rid of the baby.... wth! I told her I'd been trying for 5 years and she should feel blessed she's pregnant geez! We'll looks like I have 5 eggs growing on my right ovary and 1 on my left. So doctor is a little worried. He's having me come back in friday to see if there are still that many. I don't know what I'll do if he tells me to cancel this cycle. I can't even imagine. Fingers crossed there's a few less and I have his blessing to try.

Hey Linkerland, I know! I'm so annoyed, why tell me they were clear in September when he hadn't even checked them and the fact they said they didn't do the op for fertility was a joke, the whole reason I had it done was for that. I asked him To put me on clomid in September and he said then if no baby by the new year I'll put you on. So he knew full well it wa fertility, now I've wasted 6 more months and have to have another procedure grrrrr.

Is 6 eggs not enough then? How many do they want? I feel for you having to have that In a waiting room, makes you so angry. Fingers crossed for you it's enough eggs.

6 mature eggs is to many. He's concerned about multiples. I understand to a certain extent. I don't need sextuplets with the chance of even more if eggs split. But after trying so long I can't imagine sitting out a cycle. I can't believe he said your tubes were clear and he didn't even check. Last thing we need is more wasted time if you do have the hsg done I highly suggest taking some ibprophen before. I was pretty crampy for a couple hours after cause I didn't. Otherwise it's a much easier process then the drilling. But hopefully you'll get your bfp and not need it

DH and I have decided to do one last iui before our ivf in June. So in January we're going to ask our fertility specialists if we can. I just can't bring myself to not try one more time. Hope is still alive and well...

Is it bad that I want to do this?

Thanks Linkerland, the specilaist even had the cheek to say to the person we saw he didn't do the OD for fertility he did it for painful intercourse!!,! Erm that's why he said to me if no baby by jan 15 come back for clomid.

This guy is supposed to be all this and that appears he doesn't know his arse from his elbow!

On another note take a look at my chart. I know it's way to early to be Triphasic, but I usually spike on 5 and then drop on 6. Too early for triphasic??

Oh and pre op I never got sore bb's until I was preggers, then since the op I've had sore bb's every month from 3 dpo. This month I feel nothing, bar the usual cramps

Linkerland I hope you don't have to sit out. Twins would be lovely though! Thanks for the heads up on the painkillers, but he fingers x'd I won't need it.
