anyone got pregnant after ovarian drilling?

I'm back ladies!!! I've never been so exhausted coming back from Moscow

It was stressful beyond words! We were running around almost 24/7. But most importantly my Grandma is recovering. The Dr said anything can happen, and the next 6 months will still be critical My Mum is going back there in 2 weeks just in time for her release.

I had loads of tests done whilst there. I've had several smear tests done which have revealed a mild inflamation, most likely thrush or bac. Vaginiosis. So I just went and bought some Canesten suppositories.
I'm CD16 and been getting pulling pains on my right. The Dr also cud see. 12mm follicle 4 days ago so hopefully ill get a positive opk in a couple of days! Nothing as of yet though.

I'm just really glad to be back and to some sort of normality!!

Hi ladies!

Well, I've missed a lot! I don't know what happened, but after about CD3 I just totally forgot about TTC. Weird. I'm on CD15, still waiting to ovulate, but I've been having a really hard time remembering to do an opt every day, but I don't have anything close to ewcm yet, so I'm not too worried. I took 5mg Femara this cycle (which was also really hard to remember to do every day), so I'm hopeful that I'll ovulate before CD32 at least (which is when I ovulated last cycle).

I started seeing an acupuncturist this cycle and I've been seeing her twice a week. I love how relaxing it is and I'm hoping it does some good...??? I don't know though - being on CD15 and still no ewcm...hmmmm...

Maria - I'm so excited to see the progress of your next cycle! AND, you made it home before you ovulated, so maybe something will happen this cycle!

I see a lot of us are starting to take a bit of a mental break from TTC. I know I need that every once in a while. I hope all the relaxation brings our group a BFP soon!

AFM > Im now 9DPO ( i have to check FF to make sure lol), so Saturday is my AF due date. My boobs is sore again but im thinking it is from the Clomid. Other than that im just waiting for Saturday so that i new cycle can start. I bought a Miacup (similiar to Softcup) the weekend are keen to try it out after BDing TMI sorry

hello ladies im new to this site. hope everybody is doing ok. ive not read all the posts on this site..just wanted to add i had ovarian drilling done last monday 26.09.11 still feeling abit sore. ive been ttc for nearly 5years. what a long road thats been! i have pcos tried clomid,no luck, 1 round of ivf, still no luck! now just hoping and praying the drilling works for me. since the bleeding stopped ive been doing opk but no luck yet, mind u its only been a week yet so fingers crossed. wish you all the best

Hey munzie! Wow, you've had a long journey! I also really hope OD works for you! How are you doing after the surgery?

Defo no ovulation for me this month. I have a feeling the follicle shrunk back Oh well, just 8 days till our appointment and then wait for af to start IUI

hey maria im doing ok thanx. so your not ovulating with clomid then huh? i ovulated with clomid sumtimes but not always. dnt understand why i never got pregnant in all this time. u say u had the drilling in march right? have u ever ovulated since that time? are u glad u had the surgery?

Hi all just a update I am at day 26! I have tummy pains and feel sick but trying nit to think of it! I c the specialist on Wednesday to c if I ovulated pretty sure I did but think it was earlier around day 10! Not sure if I should test or wait?

hey fee83 go for 4 it!! Test! i wouldnt be able to wait if i was pretty sure i ovulated and then feeling sick. gud luck!!!

Fee - if you ovulated on day 10 and you're at day 26 then you should !!

Munzy - welcome! I hope the OD works for you!

Maria - are you sure you didn't ovulate? If you were having pains and then they went away, maybe you did and just didn't catch the surge...??? How are your temps? Of course, last month I had major pains that suddenly disappeared and it turned out to be just a cyst. I'm glad you're looking forward to next cycle though.

I forgot to tell you ladies my good news! Remember how my testosterone level was double at my 6 week post op check? Well, I figured my blood was drawn the day before my cyst burst - and cysts produce testosterone. I had my blood drawn again 4 weeks afterwards, and my testosterone was in the normal limits!!! Yeah!!! I've never seen it in the normal limits since I've been tracking it - over 7 years. I'm thrilled!! I've noticed too - my skin has been so much softer and smoother and I didn't break out when AF arrived - which was my first clue that something was RIGHT. So I think the OD is to credit for my level dropping so drastically. I have upped my metformin, but based on past results, I'm not convinced that's what did it. Anyway - I finally had some good news and I can't believe I forgot to tell you all.

Munzy > Welcome, good to hear you feeling ok. I've personally had great results from the OD, i never responded to Clomid, no natural AF, and No O. Since the OD i've O every cycle, 2 medicated on clomid and 1 without and a LP length of 13/14days so im thrilled at my outcomes.

And im sure if you give a bit of time you will also notice the positves from the OD. Good luck and lets keep fx'd for a BFP soon.

Fee > Are you sure you O'd on CD10 because if yes then you are 16DPO and that is normally 2 days late! So i would also test if you are sure about O date or wait till CD28 if youre not sure keeping every fx'd for you!!!!!!

Maria > There is a very good possibility that you O'd, what is your temps doing? Im sp excited about your FS appointment, cant wait to find out when you doing it

AFM > Im 10DPO and waiting for AF to arrive, i have the same sore boobs as last cycle but i assume its a side effect from clomid, so i wil not be taking clomid next cycle but Soy.

Tella- thanx. Im glad the drilling worked for you. I'll just have to wait and see what happens with me. i just cant wait to see those 2 lines on a tester. ive been given clomid to take with my next period and i pray to god it does it for me.

Cridge- that is good news!!! i see you've been trying for a very long time i can only imagine what you must be going through. i try my best not to feel jealous every time somebody announces they're pregnant, and i just cant help but wonder when will my time come

Cridge - fab news on testosterone Mine also went down about 2 weeks after the OD and the effect that had on my skin were amazing!

Im pretty sure I didn't ovulate. My surge usualy lasts for 2 days and is very strong. So it';s unlikely I missed it. I think the growing follicle just didn't produce enough estrogen to trigger the LH surge and the follicle must have turned into a cyst...Still, it should come out with the next af in about 10 days. And we can start IUI

Fee - girl!!! I admire all of your ladies' patience. Id be testing from 6DPO

hiya im on day 3 today taking 150mg clomid doc wanted me stay on 100mg even tho it didnt work last month but i had enough up it myself so going give it a go x

Jennie, be careful with high dosages of clomid. It has a negative effect on your CM as well as your lining. Like me doc explained to me, you might respond on a higher dosage but the rate of sustainability of the pregnancy is lower.
