when i was on 200mg of Clomid last year, it almost clear away all my CM.... I was never that dry before......

becarefull when increasing Clomid dosages, it can have the oppisite effect...

Been to the specialist my ovulation figure last month was 23 this month 47 so big positive means I am doing something right

Jennie - please be careful about upping the dose. One thing is that it dries up CM AND has a horrible effect on your lining - but these are all not as important as the risk of OHSS

I also decided to up my dose from just 50 to 100 and nearly ended up in A&E So please be very careful

AFM - exactly a week until the appointment I am totally ignoring the fact that Ididn't ovulate this month because I know the ball will start rolling very soon in the right direction.
I also told my new boss that I have a Dr appointment related to lady-bits without telling her it's TTC related. And she said she's be happy to talk to me about it as it took her 2 years and endless tests to conceive! So I felt such a relief!!

My BBT is 36.7 which is way too low for after ovulation hence I know I didn't. But it's also way too high for follicular phase - indicating low estrogen. This is why I never got the LH surge and hence no ovlation. I will be asking for a baseline scan next wednesday to make sure this follicle didn't turn into a cyst

Not much more than i normally have, sore and huge boobs,heartburn but not much else. I an reckon it is from the clomid that im getting the symtoms so will see what next cycle holds for me.

As the year starts drawing to a close, my 6 months of naturally trying is almost over. If im not pg by December im going in before the holidays to find out where to go from there on.

Im counting down to by birthday and your counting down to your appointment good reasons to celebrate!!!!!

Its great to hear that your boss has an understanding as it can be quite time consuming with all the doc appointments and scans.

I think there's some sort of progesterone cream you can buy and rub into your cervix - that promotes lining growth. But Ive never heard of it in the UK, only in the US.

Eating lots of pineapple and Brazil nuts also helps, but after ovulation

Maria - I'm right there with ya. I'm cd 18 and nowhere near ovulation. My cm seems to have disappeared and now I'm feeling pulling pains...guessing I'm getting cysts again. Argh! But after last cycle, I'm not counting this cycle out yet. Maybe your body will come around. Especially after all the stress you were under in the beginning of this cycle, maybe you just delayed things a bit.

My acupuncturist has been trying to get me to surge but my body is too stubborn. I'm worried there's nothing there to pop out but cysts anyway. I'm trying not to think too much about it but I've been feeling really down the last few days. I'm usually not easily prone to depression, but the last couple of weeks have been really strange emotionally.

What's the best way to increase cf prior to ovulation? I'm sure you ladies have a bunch of tricks up your sleeves.

Fee - I can't believe it! Im totally confused as to what happened to this thread. We've not had a single BFP since February. That's 8 months!!

Does that mean that all of us girls who had OD did it for nothing? That we put our bodies through so much stress for nothing??

It makes me furious!

What doesn't help is that in the last week alone I found out about close to 10 new pregnancies and one colleague became a Dad yesterday I am also starting to struggle with things... So Cridge - I totally understand how you are feeling
For EWCM you need to take lots of Mucinex. Take a table spoon 4 times a day followed by a large glass of water. It really does help

Less than a week to my appointment - not really thinking about that as Im working 14 hour days right now (only till next friday though). No idea what to expect but all we know is that we will be seeing a consultant, a nurse (for injection training) and a registrar.

I dont think it was for nothing, some has atleast seen some improvements. I've read that it can be beneficial for upto 12 months so there is still hope!

How long do you take the Mucinex for? Im trying to find an equivalent in SA but no luck yet.

Im not giving up just not feeling it this month Hoping next month will be better!

Tella - it doesn't have to be Mucinex. All you need is a Chesty Cough syrop. The name is irrelevant. But the most important thing is that the active ingredient must be something like Guefenesin (I really can't spell that!).

You should take it for 3-5 days prior to expected ovulation...trouble is because I have no idea when I expect to ovulate I end up taking it for more than a week
