Cridge-You are amazing so you deserved all the nice things said! It blows me away at how easy it is for some people to get pregnant and how very hard it is for the next. Anyone who goes through this process as long as you have speaks volumes for your character! Im sure there are some moments in the quiet that arent always so bright and shiney but for the most part you seem so very encouraging! To be honest I dont know about anything that you are currently taking but I really pray it all makes it happen REAL soon for you! And when I read the stuff about your DH it reminds me a lot of mine. I try and do as much as I can on my own just so its not all so technical. I try really hard to not let it consume us because it can so fast ya know?
AFM- (thank you Tella!) I tested again this afternoon JUST on a whim. I know it wasnt in the morning but Im pretty positive that its a no go this month. Three negative test, sore boobs still but no witch either. Today is 14CD so Im sure she'll be rearing her ugly lil self soon (assuming that I have a somewhat normal cycle). BUT I want to know more about that you ladies are taking...so Im open for suggestions! So with the surgery just last month and since we know Im ovulating-I know right now Im just looking for the natural stuff-vitamins, supplements, etc. I heard a few of you speak of preseed and from what I gather its just a lube that helps the lil spermys along. So thats on my list of what to get. Anything else you gals suggest?

CMP - definitely get Preseed. I would also recommend doing legs up in the air for about 10-15 minutes and then falling asleep on your tummy.

MommyMel - having everything crossed for you!!!

I keep symptom spotting and they come and go...some days I really "feel" pregnant and that makes me happy. other days I feel like all symptoms have vanished and I freak out. So it's a rollercoaster ...

CMP > Boooo on the bfn!!!! I know how you feel, im drinking a prenatal vitamin, 5mg Folic acid, Vit C, Calsium and Magnesium as well as 2000mg Evening Primrose Oil (EPO) from CD1 - O day then stop, it helps with your cervical mucus (CM). Also 1000mg Royal Jelly daily till 10DPO and 1000mg Flaxseed after O till BFP It sounds like a lot but i just split it some in the morning and some at night.

Cridge > that is what IVF costs here by us, injectables are +-$500-1000 per cycle.

Maria > I agree 100% with you about the charges but i must say my doc is one of the best priced with a VERY good reputation in our city. IVF can go upto $ 10 000 at some places.

AFM > Witch got me full force this morning, but im not to upset. Im gonna just take my Soy Iso and vitamin tabs and not do any temping, or OPK's. Im gonna exercise to get into shape for the beach and worry about TTC again in the new year. Right now it is just becoming to much.

I can't believe IVF is only $3000 there! I think it's at MINIMUM $10,000 here, but I've never looked into it much so I don't know for sure. Wow!

CMP - sorry about the bfn! But, no witch either, so ....??? We always hold out hope until the last second anyway, right? I still have my fx'd for you!

Make sure you're taking a good multi or a prenatal vitamin. At least something with sufficient folic acid - they say you should be taking that at least 6 weeks before you get pregnant. Other than that... I'm taking a prenatal and inositol (which is like a B vitamin - apparently good for PCOSers), and of course, Metformin. I'm also taking some Chinese herbs that my acupuncturist gave me, but I plan to stop those as soon as I've finished the bottle. These ladies are awesome and know their sups.

Mommymel - you're back to your old tricks of making us wait! I hope you see that bfp this weekend!!

AFM - I had my u/s this morning. Nothin'. So, that's actually a good thing because now I feel like I can use NPC to bring on af and not have any worries that I'm messing something up. So I'll start the cream today and hope that I'm not bleeding over Thanksgiving (we're out of town for a week). Oh well if I am, right? I'm excited to get yet another blasted cycle behind me and try, try, try again.

Maria-YES-the states charge UNGODLY amounts for medicine here...and as my medical bills keep coming from all the tests, surgery stuff, etc-its becoming an everyday reminder. Are you in Europe somewhere? Also-thanks for the recommendations. Preseed for sure...but the legs up in the air-my dh not only says I look funny (haha) but he says thats a myth. Hmmmm-Im so googling that!

Hi Everyone! I just love how this thread is so active, but I feel like I have missed so much. I have been logging in about once a week to try and keep up, but just haven't had much to report. DH and I have been trying "on our own" rather than with the help of FS. I am very happy to report that my cycles have been right on schedule the past 2 months without medication! So, it would be great to get my BFP soon! I am currently 1DPO so, just starting the 2WW. If this isn't it for me I will be trying Maria's technique!!

I hope everyone is doing well and staying positive. I am going to try and be a little more active on here....again!

I'm just biding my time taking NPC. I hope I don't have to take it too long before af shows. I've had tons of ewcm, which totally confuses me because I had zero follicles. Aren't the follicles supposed to produce the estrogen that produces the ewcm? I'm so confused. But, really, not surprised that MY body would be doing something so wacky . Typical.

aright so im new to this ladies. alittle about me; im 20 diagnosed with pcos at age of 16. doctors put me as unexplained infertility.
My experience in ttc has been hell for me. well for 2 yrs ive been ttc, i have been on 5 rounds of clomid, ortho tricyclen lo, metformin, and also done an hsg (which was very uncomfortable). i am now looking at all the threads about ovarian drilling and really find it interesting to learn more about it and also to try it out. has anyone here gotten a successful pg after OD??
