Anyone shopped online at Baby time London?

I am completely dissatisfied by the service your company offers. I am still waiting for a full refund despite continuous calls and emails.

My order number is 971/211010/58

I want a response and a refund implemented. This is not acceptable behaviour and I must express this is the worst customer service I have ever received.

Oh, and just in case this works my order n. is 1207/111110/09

Can i ask everyone who is not happy with babytime london to go on the bbc watchdog website and report them as i have done. I am sure you are all as unhappy as i am and they should not feel they can get away with treating customers like this.

This thread confuses me. Why has everyone only got a couple of posts?

That's what confused me. Wobbles gave an answer on page 3 - hopefully that should help you.

I hope BTL realises just how many people use this website/forum and will now have read this thread and be totally put off buying from them. As Wobbles said, this website comes high on google searches as well. Not good for your company name! You'd think they'd learn from a handful of mistakes, but it seems commonplace for this to be happening.

Fair play to BTL for coming on and answering people though.

The reason we all only have a few posts is that we made the purchase and after no delivery or contact we had a search to find anyone in the same boat. Oh and Not fair play to BTL they are only on here pretending to help as they have been exposed and even promises they have made on here have not been followed through eg littlechickie. If they wanted to help they would start with the direct emails and phone calls we have all sent. Oh and the whole excuse of big companys and competitors posting false reviews is a load of crap why would they even bother that is just btl trying to make excuses again for its scamming

Dear Sirs

I write further to the above referenced order, placed via your website on the 6th November 2010 for £552.44.

In the abscence of product delivery and any communication from your organisation, you will appreciate that I have lost all faith in your company.
As such, please except this email as confirmation that I have now commenced dispute proceedings with my credit card company.

I would be grateful if you could arrange a full refund against this order by close of play on Saturday, which from your website I understand to be 5pm. If the refund does not appear on my credit card statement by this point, the matter will be formally handed over to my credit card company and you will be comtacted by them directly.

Regards
Craig

I'm not sure what to do. I paid for my buggy nearly a month ago (£307!!) and still have not heard anything. I did get through a couple of times, only to be told that they were awaiting delivery from the manufacturers, even though, according to the website it was 'in stock'. I cant afford to buy another one so i'm struggling with carrying a car seat or using a sling. I really have lost hope of receiving the buggy any time soon and would just like a refund. I've had Baby Time on call back for 3 days now but it seems they've taken the phone off the hook!
I saw that some people here had been lucky with a refund so i was hoping that someone from Baby Time would refund me. (my order number is 1068/291010 if anyone from BabyTime is reading).
Short of this I don't know what to do. Maybe a chargeback on my card?
It's not right that people should have to post like this to get their items/money back. It's stressful enough having a new baby and you really look forward to getting your buggy to put him in. They should just say they're drop shipping and at least be up front about the situation.
I really hope you all get your matters resolved - and quickly- it doesn't bode well when businesses stop answering the phones!

i have had such an awful stressful experience with baby time london, and would not recommend them nor ever use them again...
i ordered a buggy from them over a month ago..it arrived with a broken handle bar..i phoned and emailed and explained that i needed this sorted asap as im moving, am pregnant and have no buggy at the mo for my lo whos only 2...first of all i couldnt get someone who knew the internet sales for days, then, i waited 4 weeks, ringing and emailing all the time being told that the buggy will be picked up by courier who never came, and i waited in constantly!!:nope:
i eventually rang consumer rights who told me its a disgrace, unacceptable and to email them one last time telling them youre rejecting for a refund and give them a few days to pick it up and if they dont then post it, recorded, and tell them when youve done so etc...
ok so i have done this, but still no contact from them! i cant get through, they wont answer my email!
i need my refund and the the postage refunded asap, i have since had to go elsewhere and buy a buggy, and am now down the extra costs

im going to do so...this has caused me so much stress and being pregnant is enough stress alone

its awful..im now down money for the buggy, money to post it back as they failed to provide a courier in over a month, and i know they received it as i sent it recorded so have the time date and name of guy who signed for it...theyre still not answering my emails and their phone is either engaged or unanswered:cry:
i really dont need this on top of moving house and being 20 weeks pregnant
i honestly dont know what to do from here, maybe consumer rights again?

Still no sign of Baby time london then? Thought it was rather odd!

I desperately need to sort out the next stage car seat for my daughter as she's definitely too big for her current one, espiecially with winter coats on etc - still don't know whether to order from elsewhere and risk the ones from Baby time turning up. Kiddicare have got the same seat on sale until the end of today which brings it down to the same price i've paid Baby time. Plus they're offer next day delivery for free?

Guys, contact Trading Standards NOW! Especially you, Kim! That's outrageous!

Right everyone i have an update on btl. I have just called the shop and for the first time after 100s of calls managed to get an answer. I gave the bloke on the phone my order number and explained about all us unhappy people. I was given the excuse that bt was down thats why they could not reply?!! I was also told that my item was delayed and could take 30 days but i continued to express how unhappy i was and also informed him that i had contacted trading standards. He then asked again which car seat i had ordered (which i found a little strange as i had already given my order number so surely they can see what i ordered?) he then told me that he had my item in stock and that he would post it out first class tracked and that i would recieve it on monday. Do i believe him though?:nope:

Oh my!!!

I really dont know what to think of this company(?)

It does sound awful.

I really hope you get all your refunds sorted or items delivered.

I am guessing they offer good prices hence a lot of folk ordering from them. Kiddicare do price-match if you see your item cheaper elsewhere they will match it. The pram I wanted was around £100 cheaper on a site I was not sure of and I emailed Kiddicare with the site link and price etc and they matched it.

Please always search for reviews of companies you have not heard of before giving them your money!!

hondaadam -dont think there is much you can do - give them til monday and hope delivery arrives? Did you pay by credit card? If so, you should be covered

:flower:

just tried to phone btl no answer, i wonder why btl didnt let us know on here that bt was down if genuine.
Having same problem with kiddisave online they assure me my item will be here mon, ill let you know how i get on with them but they seem really doddgy aswell.

Just out of interest which car seat had you ordered? I'm waiting for the maxi cosi tobi in black reflection...

I fully agree with this & would like to add, that when you don't know what reputation the website has always pay with credit card, then your purchases are protected, which isn't the case if you use a debit card.
