Hi ladies. Glad to hear everyone is doing well. I had my first OB appointment this week and all was normal (still spotting though ugh).

I have my first appointment with the Maternal Fetal Medicine specialist on 11/21 (due to high risk pregnancy). At that appointment I will have another ultrasound, genetic testing, etc. so looking forward to seeing the little one again next week.

Seems like everyone is starting to feel a little better. I finally am thankfully. It's been a rough month or so, but looking forward to moving into the 2nd tri soon!

Kla - Sorry you're still spotting, but at least you know baby is ok! That should be a lot of worry off of your shoulders.
I'm going in for the genetics testing on the same day! I have been reading that the techs performing the ultrasound, as long as baby is cooperating, can predict the gender with 85% accuracy. I am hoping to hear something, or ANYTHING for that matter!

Fairydust- I think you are about past the sickly part of pregnancy...at least I hope so. I'm sure you will be feeling great and ready to eat in no time!

Hey Kix - So glad you're not sick anymore. I'm sure just being tired is a welcome change from being sick, too. What's you next scan for? Is it just a check-up, or are you doing a first trimester screening, also?

It will be my first scan next week they do them at 12 weeks in the uk and then the second scan at 20 weeks. Can not WAIT to see baby xx

Oh wow! You have been very patient. I bet your are busting to see the little one. That's so exciting!! It's weird. Just seeing them makes you fall in love all over again each time.

I don't know about everyone else, but I have total baby brain. It's all I think about, haha. Weekdays are work days, but I don't seem to be getting ANY work completely finished. Thanks, Amazon!

Had my 12 weeks scan yesterday and despite my belief that as I didn't feel pregnant there couldn't be a baby in there I was wrong. Sleepy baby all looking fine. My daughter was somersaulting at her 12 week scan so my hubby is hoping as this one was so different it might be a boy! Bless him.

Congrats Clarikins fab scan photo! I defo think boy from the picture looks just like my first scan picture with our little boy I swear by the shape of the forehead if its more flat boy and slightly round is girl. Ha ha just my silly ideas!

You're little girl is gorgeous how old is she? Erin is my middle name! You gonna find out the sex at your 20 week scan? X

Well, he will take anything that could signify a boy so I'll let him know your theory! Erin is just 2 and a half and is utterly beautiful (though I am biased). She is why I'd be happy with another girl (as would she). Will defo find out the sex for hubby and daughter's sake x

Congrats Clairikins and Kix. I don't get a scan at 12 werks but wad at the gp on Friday and heard baby's heart beat so happy with that. Ms seems to be settling down now too.

Had my first trimester screen today, and the babe was perfect! No abnormalities, yay!! We got a peek at what looked like boy parts, but the damn tech wouldn't talk a guess, haha. However, I get to go back on Tuesday for my regular check up, so really just seeing a healthy baby in there is enough for me...

Found out yesterday morning that we are having a healthy baby boy!! I knew it from the time I was pregnant that I was having a boy, despite everyone telling me I was going to have a girl! Blood genetic test showed no abnormalities...so everything looks good. I am soooo excited. Now..just gotta focus on names!

HOW EXCITING!! Great news! I'm glad the genders are starting to come in. I think intuition plays a huge part in knowing what the gender is before you actually "know". Congrats!!!

And congrats on the results of your test and on your healthy baby boy bumpbella.
I cannot wait till my anomoly scan to check that baby is doing well and also to find out the gender.
Everyone keeps saying girl and I would love this one to be a girl but I actually think it will be another boy. I just feel boy. Either way I just want baby to be healthy and doing well. Thats the most important thing. Knowing if baby is a boy or girl would just be an added bonus. It also means I can refer to baby as he or she then too.
My scan is not till late January so still a bit of a wait.

We got our names locked in so when the time comes to give the little one an identity, we are ready to go.

Willo - I still can't believe you have to wait until Jan! I think the doctors think making us wait is funny or something I for one, am not amused!

Well today my 21 month old has been very very trying. He is pretty high needs a lot of the time anyway but has become increasingly more stroppy, shouty, hitty and clingy over the last week or two. Do you think he senses that there will be a new baby?
