Hey girls, been a bit busy feeling loads better though it wasn't pnd it was the bloody pill, so now am completly bamboozled abt what contraception to use, thinking would like to just use the opposite to ttc methods and avoid ov days, but am so scared I'd double ovulate or something. I'm gonna speak to the docs, and although she may recommend something else i'm scared to try anything else as I really don't want to go through the way I felt again!

I'm planning no.3 for me 4 between us when Olivia is three years old, and I think I'd like another one after that but we'll see time may run out fo me, I'm 28 and I don't want to have another one after I'm 35 and I too hate being preggers, lol it's a means to a wonderful end for me. I adore having kids and think labour is amazing albeit horribly painful, but it's so amazing we can do it, by whatever means.

Hannah we always talk to you hun, nobody answers me eiether, lol. I think we're all just soo short on time these days and a few of you have wondered off to other sites, hehe! I haven't had a look yet tbh just not had the time. I never did pm you my thoughts did i, i guess cos i don't know how to word it all I will make a conscious effort this evening after my jog. I don't think men mature until there over 35 tbh, lol. Most of the blokes I know aren't ready to commit for ages, marriage is a big thing for blokes as is babies I think they just tend to panic a bit more.

Anyway ladies I'm off to get ready for my jog in the rain as it would seem. it'd be soo easy to just say no I won't bother but it's only 20 minutes and really need to get into it again, seeing as race for life is in two weeks.

Aww, i think you have a rare one there hunni, I'm not saying they don't come up like that, lol but i think majority of them have a bit of a freak out lol. I think out of fifteen pregnant mates all blokes freaked when first told partner was expecting even in the case of planned ones, lol. BUT I also know thats once baby is here alot of them are completly besotted.

The other site is one that chel created. Don't really know what went on and although its a shame we can't all chat together like before I use this site so much for asking questions and stuff I forget about the other one !

hiya girls!

I'm back from hols, got back last night. We had a last minute week in Norfolk, we booked it Monday morning and went Monday night (slightly later settting off than planned as some idiot decided to smash one of our cars windows when it was parked in town). I think we were staying in one of the only parts of the country that didn't have the heat wave, but it was actually good as we only had to drive 10 mins inland and we were in the sun and it meant that the caravan wasn't boiling at night to sleep on. We had a day on a boat on the Norfolk Broads, took Cooper on a mini train, went to some lovely places and generally chilled out. Much needed break.

How are we all?

Juliette, I was just talking about swimming today with my mum and told her that the first time I go I want her to come with me as I know I would be in a fluster on my own!

Evening all, someone stole my angel baby today and gave me one with horns he's been a nightmare, he's moaned for most of the evening! after 2 hours of faffing i can only summise that he must have been tired baby rice isnt going down to brilliant, am thinking of starting him on baby porridge instead, he's drinking ridiculous amounts of milk, sometimes 13 oz's every few hours, best not start a thread about it though else I will be

SS - the pill does that to me also, I suffer really badly if i try to alter my hormones, we have always done catholic stylie but its sods law we will catch now we REALLY dont want too

Lynds - How was your first holliday with lo? we have booked to go in Sept, thinking now i have 3 I may need a trailor and a roof rack

Ive had car problems to, aside from it failing MOT some old codger drove into the back of me at Tescos yesterday I tell you the last week has been a complete joke if jeremey beadle wasn't dead id of expected him to jump out from behind a bush at some point.

Def get your mum or friend to go with you, its very stressful. Im just greatful Lucas didn't blub when we got in the pool as that would of been to much to cope with on top of everything else !!

I haven't started Lucas on formula yet so I have no idea what im talking about really but could/have you try a different brand of formula ? Are some more filling than others. I have seen they have different stages and some for hungrier babys ?

he's on a hungrier baby milk already, he behaves like he's starving, now he's been so unsettled today i'm now wondering if its cos he has fed too much its soo hard to second guess sometimes, ive had one of those days where i feel quite useless tbh

Thanks Jen, I just did a quick google and it says from 6 months, i'l check it out next time i'm in boots It should be ok if it doesnt have gluten in as i'm sure thats what you have to watch out for in early weaning

Cant believe you 2 havent met up, surely its a bonus having someone so close by with babies the same age, Ive been going to Baby Massage, Baby Bounce & Rhyme and a mother and Baby group to mingle with other mums, there isnt any where I live and most of my friends finished ages ago x

OMG Sarah, I swear our two were seperated at birth for sure now! Leo has been an utter pain in the butt too today! Hes done nothing but moan and whinge and be a menace He's hardly slept, has drunk loads of milk and chucked it back at me.......im worn out now

Maybe you could try emailing some of the baby magazines, sometimes they have experts like nutritionists (Sp) that could help ?

When he's fed is he sick after ? Does he have a dummy ?

I know this is totally different but Lucas would feed and feed and feed if we didn't stop him and give him a dummy.

Im pretty sure hes not still hungry though as if he has to much he is sick and refuses dummy if he still wants more, he is a sucky baby !!

Sorry i don't really know much about it, but it must be difficult

lol! do you think its just boys being awkward? my last boy was awkward but i thought i'd escaped this time, my daughter was an I cant help thinking its food related, i'd have a bad stomach if i drunk 10 pints of milk a day hows leo on his rice? you been tempted to move onto anything else? I'm thinking a fruity cereal from the 4months plus section, dont wanna ask the HV this time as she will probably me too! xx
