Sarah, Leo spits his dummy and chews his fists but hes not hungry, hes usually got a belly ache or wind when he does this, although if I offered him bottle he would take an ounce or two..........are you sure Oscar is hungry? Have you tried giving him water/juice when he does this between feeds?

Lucas just started chewing his fists to and like you im positive he isn't hungry I think its because they have just started to explore their hands ? Is that right ?

Mind you he only ever crys when he is hungry so im quite fortunate that I know exactly when he wants feeding. If ive ever mistaken it for whinging then he soon puts me straight !

Alex licks his fists, never sucks on them but just sits there and licks them! we got him weighed today he is 10lb 8oz

Funny as Cooper has just started really finding his hands too and really sucks on his fingers and fist. He's also started getting really bubbly (as in spit bubbles), he doesn't dribble really, the bubbles just sit there quite happily on his little lips!

Where you off to in September Sarah? We were hoping to go abroad in September but realistically I don't think that is going to happen now as this month has more or less crippled up.

Juliette - what is it with our cars!! honestly. And the most annoying thing is, its not our fault is someone else being careless or vindictive thats costing us bloody money! *******s! Were you and Lucas in it at the time? Hope you are both ok.

Right thats me off to bed, lets see if I can make it past the 3am mark. Wishful thinking!

Hey ladies you all ok??

Ridley is teething i reckon upper and lower gums are white and dribbling loads he was really screaming the other day!!

He is always chewing and licking his fists too .. and blowing bubbles, i love the noises he has started making too all the ooooh's and ahhhh's xx

holiday was fab thanks. My first holiday in this country for god knows how long, went to some beautiful places. Made me realise how much my home town sucks!!!

How's house hunting going? Are you in Oxford itself? One of my best friends lives in Oxford, lovely city. The students drive her mad though! Blooming expensive for property as well.

Cooper sounds the same as Ridley, but touch wood, so far no screaming.......

I'm switching to formula as well I've decided. He had his first ff last night and he guzzled it down!

Lynds, Lucas wasn't in the car thank god. I think ive got whiplash so off to docs later, bloke that went into back of me has insurance so its all covered. It wouldn't suprise me if he'd kicked the bucket as a result, he looked seriously ill when he got out the car !

Lucas slept a bit longer Mel but only because I had him in bed with me and oh slept downstairs !!! Does the little man still sleep through if hes teething ? God thats something im not looking forward to!

How did the FF go ? I was thinking of trying it tonight, knowing my luck instead of sleeping through he will be up all night with a dicky tummy

We are going to Butlins Minehead, not the most relaxing place in the world! least I get out of cooking and cleaning for a week I couldnt do abroad yet, not until they are MUCH older, I would need to take too much stuff! anyone else braving holidays? xx

Well it sounds like a few of us have teething babies!

Amelia has been proper chomping on her fists/anything she can get into her mouth for a couple of weeks now.. I checked last night and she has a tooth coming through, can already feel a sharp bit!
I couldn't blooming believe it!!

My boobs are killing me because she keeps trying to bite my nipples off.. it isn't fun times at the moment

And Amelia is now back to waking up a good 3 times a night! .. and she will feed and fall asleep and as soon as I move her she wakes up and wants more food.. So I spend 80% of the night feeding her!!

Lynds do you feel kinda sad stopping the bf ? Thats what im most worried about ! I think I will prob start blubbing when I do the last feed, got a few months left yet though.

Maybe Amelia is having a growth spurt ? The night feeds are a killer !!!

I have thought about stopping in the near future but when I think about it I get upset and feel like I'm just giving up because Amelia is being difficult at the moment.

Lynds I just saw your post about girls names and I was going to have Morgan to if id had a girl !

Did you know you were having a boy, i didn't was a suprise baby. I can't remember if you knew or not, but imagine if we'd both had girls then announced on here we'd called them each Morgan ! How bloomin confusing !!

My girls name was Lola, I stuck by that and didnt have any others. If i were to have another and it was a girl she's be called Lola, thenh Id have a Lily, Leo and Lola!
