Hi girlies!
Sarah, how mad, we had Oscar, Oliver or Leo..lol we both could have ended up with 2 leo's or 2 oscars!

My girls name was Lola, I stuck by that and didnt have any others. If i were to have another and it was a girl she's be called Lola, thenh Id have a Lily, Leo and Lola!

I love the name Lola!!! if Alex was a girl he was going to be called Sabrina or Starla.

Alex has been a bugger today !! i wish he would just have a dirty nappy already!!! we have been giving him water loads of orange juice lots of massage . he hasnt been since friday so i gave him some lactulose, he was perscribed 2.5mls twice a day but i have just gave him 1.5ml just to see if it will help!

im going to a mum and baby group tomorrow for the first time, i am quite looking forwards to it, does anyone else go to any groups?

Youve got Good taste hun :) numerous times we swapped between Leo and Oscar, He was gonna be Leo for ages and then my mom said I couldnt Have a Louie and a Leo :dohh: Alfie was too common so Oscar it was :) Ive also got an Alanta, I wanted her to be Atlanta but changed it at the last minute, I love the way your girls are all double barrelled xx

Lynds do you feel kinda sad stopping the bf ? Thats what im most worried about ! I think I will prob start blubbing when I do the last feed, got a few months left yet though.

Maybe Amelia is having a growth spurt ? The night feeds are a killer !!!

I thought I would be sad and thats another of the reasons why it took me so long to make a decision. I did like that feeling of being the only one that can feed him. Now though, I don't think I am going to miss it as I feel like a massive weight has been lifted. He had exclusive breast milk for the best part of 3 months and now, I'm ready for a bit more freedom. I spent 3 hours in bed earlier with a killer migraine, Rick could take him and feed him which 2 nights ago he wouldn't have been able to do. Cooper is guzzling away at it so I have no worries that he is missing out on anything. I was worried that he would miss the boob but I think as long as he's eating, he doesn't really care where it comes from!

I just posted more or less the same thing about names on that name thread!! We were on team yellow but convinced we were having a boy. Funny thing is that my best friend's married name (1st husband) was Cooper and my other closest friend is getting married in September and is going to be a Morgan!! We picked the names before realising that we were working our way through friend's surnames!

Top Gear tomorrow. SOOOO excited!

How is everyone?
Xx

I do hun, I LOVE going to groups and chatting babies! My mother and Baby group and Baby Massage groups are my Favourite :) I also go to Baby Bounce and Rhyme at the library but the last few times Oscars just slept and Ive sat singing to myself like a fool :dohh: xx

Hey there girls :) How are you all???? Long time no chat!!! What has everyone been doing??????

Hi Mandy!! Hi All,

Just a quick one again, got soo much going on at the mo.
Its my best friends hen weekend at the weekend and I still have a little bit to do - as of Monday I will be back to BNB normal!

I go to a class called Wiggle and Giggle, basically a little playgroup for non-movers followed by sing songs but Sophie always falls asleep for the singing hehe!
I love her soo much :cloud9:

Awwww wiggle and giggle sounds so cute!

I'm in full on hen party organisation too, i'm gonna pick your brains for game ideas next week when you have more time!! Where you going for it? Have you got a theme? We're in London, meeting for bubbly in green park then going to the ice cream parlour at fortnums and the to All Star Lanes in Holborn in 1950s fancy dress. Can't wait although it will be first night away from Coop.
X

Hi ya mand! You looking forward to Brisbane? Friend of mine lives in Queensland, think the place is called Townsville, that anywhere near you? X

Morning ladies!

Surprise surprise OH and I fell out last night, I was telling him how tired I was and that I wanted more help with Amelia and he started with the whole 'I go to work and work hard, you sit at home' bullsh*t .. and I said that his job is 5 days a week for specific times, mine is 24/7 .. and then he rolled over and said 'I'm going to sleep now good night.'

So I grabbed my pillows said 'We aren't moving in to that house together, and you can look after Amelia tonight see how you like being woken up a few times.'
And then slept downstairs

But Amelia only woke up once! .. Unlike the 3 times she does with me! Clearly the booby milk isn't going to settle her for even a few hours any more!

There are a few baby groups I can go to but I'm always too scared, yeah I know totally pathetic!

How is everyone??

xXx

Ooo I will have a look in a min Hanny!
I havnt updated mine in ages!

Ash, Thats Men, they just dont get it!
Graham has got Sophie all weekend as I am away but he wont get it as she will be at nans Friday afternoon whilst he is at work, and again Saturday morning whilst he has work and then I am back on Sunday Afternoon. We are very lucky though as she tends to sleep from 9/10pm through until 8am!

Lyns - We are going to Centre Parcs, we leave Friday around 1.30 to arrive around 3.30. There is 23 of us going including nans, aunties, in-laws etc so it was fun trying to pick somewhere that would suit evereyone.

Friday night we are having a Pyjama Party, ordering Pizza, and then I am making cocktails and have 2 chocolate fountains. I am going to do a quiz about Stacey so everyone gets to know her a bit better. I.e How did her and carl meet etc.
There is also a DVD player in the apartment so thinking Mamma Mia on, also taking Ipod with lots of cheesy music.

Saturday we are going in there amazing Sub-Tropical swimming pool, a couple of people are going horse riding or into the Spa. Whatever anyone wants to do they can. In the evening we are going to the Hucks and american restaurant which has lots of yummy cocktails. I have had tops printed for everyone to wear, we are all on white and Stacey in Pink. Then I think we are going to go bowling but with 23 of us eating that might take up the whole evening.

Sunday we will pack to come home and then going for a carvery I think!!

Cant wait!!!!

Hello,

Hope thinga are all good.

Olivia is teething and was from about nine weeks, it's getting worse so defo teething, and goes in phases too, they irritate her for a few weeks then it calms down then irritate her again. She's suffering quite alot at mo, but she's being good with it all.

Olivia is 16 weeks, and has had yoghurt, ice cream, ice lollies, some carrot & potato and other varieties of cow&gate, although obvs she doesn't eat a whole container usualy only two or three spoonfuls. Although I think she would probably happily eat more but at this stage I don't want to overload her digestive system. I've also brought some powdered cereal that you mix up with their milk, one this is good cos youn only need to make up as much as required, and two it's good cos a bit more gentler than other foods. So we will be having some of that this evening for dinner. I'm not even gonna bother with baby rice cos it's horrible, tastes like paper and I'm yet to see a baby who likes it, lol I'm sure there are some but not many, so we've gone straight for stronger flavours and porridge as too baby rice. I'm not sure this is the way to go but it's defo the way Olivia seems to like it.

Enjoy your mummy meets han and jen. I hope we can settle on a meet date really soon, august is whizzing by.

hugs to all xxxx
