Thanks girlies.. I love having you guys to rant to because you always make me feel better about everything!

The HV suggested me going to a breastfeeding support group.. I don't think she realises that just thinking about other people being able to breastfeed makes me feel useless and makes me want to cry! ..

From the word go I've wanted to breastfeed my little princess and I will give her breastmilk no matter what. The HV even said she is a happy and healthy little girl but because she hasn't regained her birth weight still it causes concern for her.. she is coming back in a weeks time and she wants Amelia to have put on 7oz by then.. under pressure much!!

I wish there was one specific guideline that mw/hv stuck to, instead of everyone having a different opinion.. being a new mummy is hard enough as it is!

Well another 20 minutes and then I've got to wake up my princess for her next feed.. I'm going to see how this 2 hour feeding goes but if the HV thinks I'm going to survive on 30 minutes worth of sleep every 2 hours she has another thing coming!!!

Jen what did you have done to your hair?? .. I can't wait to go get my hair done and start feeling a little bit nice again!! .. I need to blooming lose some weight too.. it is depressing only fitting into one pair of pre pregnancy jeans!!

Well done ash you've done so well, almost three weeks of bm is great and amelia will have benefitted. Just make sure you look after yourself, It's hard to put into words without coming across wrong, but mw & hv always say happy mum happy baby, in other words your just as important as she is. xxxxx

Olivia has been a nightmare real grump and majorly clingy, so with all my deducing, i felt i needed to change my milk powder from aptamil stage 2 to we've gone heinz (formally farleys.) stage 2 in hope she chilld out again.

OH has just got home from work and he can't believe that we have to feed her every 2 hours.. when he is at home he helps with the feeds and what not but this week he has to be up at 5am for work and I can't expect him to be awake every 2 hours and then go work a 10 hour day (with 2 hours driving to and from on top of that)

Bless Olivia.. we all have our little battles to fight don't we!

I have to decide what colour to have mine.. during my pregnancy it went a really weird colours.. I don't like at all!

Well Amelia had 60ml, I winded her for 20 minutes and then she was all calm and settled so I expressed and whilst I was doing so she vomited everywhere!!! My beloved breast milk haha

My stomach doesn't actually bother me that much.. I just wish I hadn't put weight on my hips/thighs because then I would be back in all my clothes! .. Well most of them.. I have some high necked stuff that my boobs just wouldn't ever fit into!!

I really need to get measured properly for a bra.. I'm in a 36 F at the moment and it is definitely too small

Aww, lol hun mine is nothing compared to your commitment! Don't you forget it. I would say maybe try for three hourly in day and night just on demand. Surely she would be waking or crying if she was really hungry you can't force her to eat! Just do what you can and don't beta yourself up about it!

Wow Ash you are doing so well. Come on Amelia, we are all rooting for you to gain weight and make mummy even prouder.

Girls we got our little boy circumcised today. The actual procedure was fine, I stayed with him as OH isn't good with these things, it was fine and took less than 5 minutes and Cooper was as good as gold. Now when he's awake, he's really crying which isn't like him and the consultant reassured us countless times that he won't be in pain. Now we feel really awful as there is nothing that we can do for him. OH was in tears when Coop was having a bit of a meltdown. He is sleeping fine, he's asleep right now, so I think that he wouldn't be able to just sleep if the pain was bad so maybe its more of a discomfort thing or maybe that is me just trying to make myself feel better.

Who knows, I'm off to seek advice from the ladies on here.......

Ashy ~ Honey you are doing great. Do NOT get down on yourself. Like SS said...Happy Mommy = Happy Baby. It takes time for them to learn how to latch on (or it did Marissa anyways). Hang in there hun...I was ready to give up but didn't and now Marissa acts like a little BFing pro.

Hope everyone is having a good day. It is raining like crazy outside. One of those days when you just want to crawl up in the bed...oh, speaking of the bed....guess who gets to have sexy time tonight!!! I went to the doc today and I got released. DH bought condoms on the way home. I have to wait for them to call and set-up and appt for my Merena, should be in the next 2 weeks. AND.....I lost weight!!! I now weigh 128lbs. I've lost 18 lbs. and now I can finally exercise.

gotta go for now.......

lyndsey ~ maybe Coop is just uncomfortable (not in pain). I think if he was in pain then he would not be sleeping at all hun. Don't you & your DH beat yourselves up Coop will be just fine. My DS was circumcized at birth and he was fussy for 2 or 3 days. The doc said he was just uncomfortable not in pain.

HV plan clearly isn't working!! .. So going to try every 3 hours and see how we get on with that.. I keep trying her at the boob but no such luck.

OH has even offered to take more time off work, even though he wouldn't get paid for it but he has too many financial commitments to do so.

I need to win the lottery and then get a nipple transplant.. in my opinion the reason why she isn't latching on is because she doesn't realise there is anything in her mouth to latch on to. Stupid effing flat nipples

hey girls...how are you all? amy had her injections today...and she cried bless her as she was fast asleep!! shes alot better now though and fast asleep...i didnt realise they stab both legs...UGHHHHHH horrid!!

on a good note im going to get my hair done this week..hopefully tomorrow...gunna get it cut short....styled and then gunna dye it bout time i started trying to feel attractive again!!

jenny- need to see pictures of your hair...therefore i can get some ideas

hanny- rest up hun and im sure your stitches will heal alot quicker...then you can pounce on marc

ashy- your doing great with still breasfeeding but christ knows how your ment to cope with feeding every 2 hours...thats a bit much i think

I am shattered me and OH took little un into my work this afternoon this was our first trip out with him since he came home from hospital he was good as gold but it took like forever to get car seat in and get changing bag ready just to leave the house i was getting so arsey!

Glad to have you back Dana hun I had 3rd degree stitches so I know what you mean, i am not sore down there really but i do have a dull acheing.... however i really do want sex dammit ! xx

Have you tried using nipple shields?? I heard they can help with flat nipples.
