My stitches are getting looked at today so somehow I need to get me and Alayna ready soon...been out loads with her just not on my own so today is new!!! EEk! I am worried she will need feeding halfway round town and I am not sure where I can go and breastfeed her lol. She wont take an expressed bottle yet!
Plus it may rain and I have NO IDEA on how to put the rain cover on the pram!!!

Gosh it seems ages since I last chatted to you.

Gosh it seems ages since I last chatted to you.

ah hun I know that feeling. Charlie only got up once last night for a feed and the second time he woke up he just wanted a cuddle...so i was back to sleep within about 5 minutes....and we had a "lie in" til 7am but i feel like i have had about 1 hour sleep!!
hope everyone is ok. dana i know the feeling about not knowing where to feed. Charlie wanted feeding in boots the other day...and they hvae got rid of their bfing room! i had to go and hide amongst the nappies at the ack of the store to feed him. I was really self conscious!!

Grrr it got to 8pm and Amelia just started crying for no reason what so ever!! It keeps happening every night for at least the past 5 days at the exact same time..

I mentioned it to the HV yesterday and she didn't make anything of it...

Well I will be going to bed soon.. the only way I can manage to do my night time expressions!!

Tried the vaseline on arianna....well ma mum did n she pood but i think she constipated again n i jus tried it an it didnt work grrrrr so im givin her boiled water to see if that will help ohhh babies they r such a wonder xxxx

Yep same time.. 8 in the evening! I think it is colic because she will only stop crying if her bum is being tapped/she is being moved.

We have even thought about buying a baby swing to settle her but the prices of them are ridiculous!

Have you tried ebay hun for a babyswing, it certainly does sound like colic.
I know colic isn't specifically wind related but if Olivia's having a bit of a winge, I read somewhere to lie her down raise her legs and wiggle them a bit in the air, and *touch wood* it seems to work to ease any discomfort.

Hey girls, well i havent been on here much at all since brooke was born. I have been emtionally knocked since having Brooke. My ex is pushing me into a corner bascially. Saying he wants time alone with brooke, which im scared of. obviously. then i found out he was seeing a 17yr Girl for the past month or so ive needed alot of space recently which is why i havent been on here much. I hope you's are all ok, i miss u all.

Brooke now weighs 7lb 2oz, she was 6lb1oz when born

Hey everyone... Thought I would stop in real quick.... Been having a rough time lately... Feel like a crap mom cause even pumping 11 times a day my milk supply is now almost gone. I dont know what is wrong and the doctors here wont prescribe domperidone and I cant be put on what they would supply (reglan) because it can cause severe depression and when I was younger I had a history of it... I really don't want her to continue on formula. I just with there was something... Going to try and get some fenugreek tomorow. Maybe that will help for a little while...

Good news though. Athena is now 8 pounds. My little porker. I got my first postnatal appt tomorow hopefully someone there will be able to help me... It would make me feel a lot better.


How is everyone else? Hows the pumping and trying to feed going ash? I found a forum that is for exclusive pumpers if you want the link sometime... Most the girls are from the US but they all seem really nice.

Its 2:39 am here and I have been up since 7:05 yesterday morning lol I dont know where my energy is coming from. I think my insomnia might be back which could come in handy with having Athena.

Lack of supply is something I dread.. my advice is just make sure you are eating and drinking enough and try and sleep more.. You star!!

Expressing is so soul destroying at times! The one thing I like about it is OH can help out with feeds in the middle of the night.

I'm so scared that when the HV next comes round Amelia won't have put on enough weight!

Last night Amelia had a feed at 8.30, then woke up at 11.30, had another feed, then woke up 3.30, then woke up again at 6.30.. and every time she is taking between 90 - 100ml. So I am feeding her when she wants to be fed and she isn't going over 4 hours.

We registered Amelia today .. I think it is a bit silly that if Dan and I ever marry we have to go and re-register her!

The woman just told us earlier that if my OH and I ever decide to get married then we will have to go and re register Amelia.. oddness I know!

I really wanted to go for another walk today but the shoes I wore on my 6 mile walk yesterday gave me huge blisters and now my feet are killing me!! .. Definitely going for another long walk tomorrow.. so keeping my fingers crossed for nice weather!

Just had a yummy sweet potato and cottage cheese salad... nom nom nom! I think it is so weird that when I was pregnant healthy food completely turned my stomach and since having her I've loved my healthy foods

Still need to weigh myself.. I will definitely do it tomorrow morning!!!

I will be weighed at my doctors appt today. Its at 1:30 and then I am going to go hang out with a friend so she can meet Athena and we can go have lunch and visit my friends from high school for a few minutes. It should be fun. Then its back home to have supper with OH then going to bed. What is everyone elses plans?

Sorry to hear your both having a hard time kelly and navarababe. It must be hard for you both in different ways, kelly don't be hard on yourself, I hope the fenugreek works. Navarababe, it's a horrible thing contact especially when so young, however I do know that seeing as baby is so young if it went to court they would only advise like and hour away from you! I've been through two and a half years of very nasty court cases.
He has a right to contact though, is his name on the birth cerificate yet as he doesn't have parental rights until his name is on the birth certificate, but he can oviously fight for this in a court too, but would have to proove his dedication and commitment to the child. So he'd need to be paying maintenance, have hse suitable for her to stay in and be prompt and reliable for contact times. courts will advisen routine as this is what childen recommended. I'm not saying go through courts it's not nice and can cause bitterness, but just telling you what rights are. As for the girlfriend I'd say you have every right to request her not being there until there is a solid commitment between the two of them you ex and her as this is instability as well, plus thefact she is so young. Obvs you don't know how mature she is, but as a minor under eighteen I don't think she'd be entitled to have daughter on her own, but not 100% on that one.

So glad you sound more upbeat ash and that amelia is waking herself for four hourly feeds, I don't think you could ask anymore to be honest and I'm sure she's put on weight! Hope next app all goes well when will it be?

Olivia has been doing ok today once again, a few little whinges form wind I think, but generally so far the new milk seems to be helping.

My LOOLA came today I brought one second hand from ebay, but kicked myself when I found out for 20.00 more you can get one brand new from kiddicare, oh well! It's in good condition and is very clean. However it has a million buttons, lol well ok six, lol they all do different things and I had to google to search for tips and forum all the answers I need on snippets from other forums thanks goodness for them. hehe. The only thing right now I'm not keen on is it's really heavy! It weighs 10kg which I didn't think was bad, when ordering but on tryin to put it up, it's reallly heavy!!! It's a temporary buggy though for emergency's only like now when one of my silver cross coach prams wheel has broken and we're waiting on a replacement! So it'll do but I can't wait to get my silvercross back on the road.

ANyway Olivia ready for nest feed now, so will prob e on l8r.
