Hello ladies
How is everyone today?
Layla is sleeping well now... for now anyways lol.... she slept from 10pm till 2am then fed till 1/4 till 3 then slept till 6am pretty happy with that

Ohhhhh guess who got this morning hehehheeh meeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! hehehehe slow and steady and it was great!! We used a condom but cause i have only been on the mini pill for just over a week....

Had some internal ones as Coopers fingernails did a freddie kruger on the way out. Nothing external though thank goodness.

OH keeps reminding me there's no stitches up my bum but he's not winning that argument!! Got to applaud his effort though!

My stitches are getting looked at today so somehow I need to get me and Alayna ready soon...been out loads with her just not on my own so today is new!!! EEk! I am worried she will need feeding halfway round town and I am not sure where I can go and breastfeed her lol. She wont take an expressed bottle yet!
Plus it may rain and I have NO IDEA on how to put the rain cover on the pram!!!

Morning

Well the 2 hour feeding wasn't working.. so I decided to try 90ml every 3 hours.. she is taking it all happily and we get loads of big burps up but for some reason she won't settle! ..

Last night I was up at half 2, OH changed her nappy and fed her her bottle and winded her whilst I expressed.. we were all done by 3.15am but it took another 45 minutes for Amelia to settle!

This morning was the same, I spent some time trying to get her to breastfeed, and used nipple shields to see if they would work with her now.. she would latch on for a second, give a suck and then start screaming so I gave her a bottle at 8am, winded her, top and tailed her, changed her nappy and clothes and she eventually started drifting off at 10am.. so she will have had an hours sleep before I have to wake her up to feed her!

I thought babies loved to sleep like always?!

Dana I'm the same, we have been out for a few walks but I haven't been out on my own yet.. I'm really scared that she will start screaming and everyone will look at me and think I'm a shitty mummy! .. I also don't know how to put my rain cover on

I know how you ladies feel with the stitches, I had loads of them.. weirdly though I was in more pain when my stitches were still there... since they came undone I've been in a lot less pain.. and for the past week I've been in no pain what so ever!

Makes me giggle that cooper can happily feed whilst having the hic cups! He has them all the time does anyone else's little one? He had them a lot in my tummy too bless him.

I used to be the most impatient person ever, but knowing that BM is the best for my princess is what is keeping me going.

Plan of action for today is to go for a walk into town and back (a good 6 mile walk!!) and find something that makes Amelia sleep!!

Awww Bless Cooper! Amelia gets the hiccups all the time too but she hates them.. she gets really annoyed and then ends up crying! .. Such a short tempered little girly!!

I know that we are meant to sleep when our babies sleep but does anyone else find it impossible?! If I sleep when she sleeps then I don't get anything done!

anyone else have a grizzly baby today

Yeh my little man also gets hiccups too like 3times a day i try not to feed him whilst he has them as milks goes everywhere his whole body jerks when he hiccups .... i personally think its guzzling to much milk to quickly in the first place that gives him them naughty boy!!

Olivia always gets hiccups. And yes she gets really annoyed. Just like when she wants a bottle she doesn't cry as such but shout at you. lol It is a bit amusing.

ash if she's not settling maybe it's too much weight on her tummy, if you made feeds smaller wld she still be getting what she needs or what the mw thinks she needs?

I think that is why the HV said to feed her 60ml every 2 hours but she wasn't sleeping then either.

Today hasn't been too bad.. she had a feed at 11am and went to sleep not long after and stayed asleep until 2.30 and then she had another feed, and went virtually straight back off to sleep.. and both times she didn't vomit, just a bit of spit up

We have just got back from our 6 mile walk into town, my feet are killing me but I feel fab, went into my old work place and everyone was cooing over Amelia Proudest mummy ever!

If she won't settle down later then I'm going to put her in her pram and rock the pram because she seems to like being walked about!!

I'm lots lots happier today!!
