@mbrew180 I know this is so frustrating and the literature says otherwise, but LP length changes! I am sure of it 100 percent because I followed my follicles with ultrasound and knew exactly when I was ovulating. It varied between 10 and 14 days! I am 37 and not overweight, and my gynecologist didn't find it strange.
When I wasn't sure if my supplements were to blame for messy cycles I stopped everything for a month and than started slowly with what was really important to me. I think there is such a thing as too much supplements.
I think you pinpointed o correctly every month, you just weren't lucky. No real advice here, just rooting for you and hoping next time you catch that egg.

What the actual f are my ovulation tests?!?

I've started testing 3 x a day and still getting mixed tests. Fmu seems to be lightest and gets darker throughout the day and then next morning light again. Nowhere near a positive yet and starting to worry something is up. I'm getting ov pains (or what I've always assumed is) but what if I don't ovulate?

Getting very frustrated. Just needed to vent x

3 DPO for me, and I truly believe I am pregnant. I still haven't caved testing though, keeping busy to keep my mind off things. I do have symptoms, I am cramping a bit, as well as boobs are becoming sore, and I am bloated. So hopefully good signs (fingers crossed!).

Af is due in 9 days . So I will start testing on Sunday. We dtd day before suspected ovulation and 2 days after so I don't have much hope for this try.

I should probably check how many tests I have left. Haven't checked in a while. I'm trying to use the strips up I've been using the last like 3 cycles because I got 200 of them lol. So probably next month I will get some different brands.

Hey ladies
I've been quietly lurking here cos we've been TTCing for our 5th for about 8 months. And I just got this today!!! I'm still in shock!! After so long, it was a struggle to believe that things could work out. This was also the most unlikely of all cycles!!


I visited a fertility specialist cos we were not getting pregnant after so long and I didn't know what was wrong. She monitored my cycle with weekly blood draws and 2 ultrasounds to track for ovulation.

My last period, I bled for 3 weeks +. So so weird!! That meant I didn't ovulate even by day 25! On day 25 (Mon), doc saw 2 follicles and told me to administer HCG shot since we last DTD on day 24 (Sunday). My husband had gone on a biz trip and would only be home on day 27 (Wednesday). On day 27 we did the HCG shot, my husband did it for me cos I was too scary cat. We DTD again only on day 28 (Thurs late) and that's it. I read you ovulate 24-36 hours after your HCG shot, so we DTD probably exactly on ovulation or just before. Anyway, today is day 43 and it's about 15 DPO. I first tested at 13 DPO and it was almost a negative although I saw a shadow of a line, but husband didn't see anything. And when my AF still didn't come today, I felt I needed to test again and that's the test I attached here.

I'm actually on holiday in Singapore (I'm from Singapore but live in Germany). And I just found out on holiday that I'm pregnant. So so shocking. We last had a m/c in Sept 2021 and started NTNP until Dec 2021. By jan 2022, we decided to TTC more properly and I tracked my cervical mucus / ovulation. My periods are quite regular but I never once saw a BFP anymore. My TSH (thyroid stimulating hormone) is low but my doctor said I shouldn't have a problem conceiving. My FS said that she thinks perhaps a low / negligible TSH prevents me from ovulating on my own even though I may have regular cycles.

And she might have been right!! Cos one trigger shot helped me to ovulate properly! And now I'm wondering if I'm having twins cos we did have 2 follicles. We have no twins in my family at all FYI. I didn't do any stimulation so this was a pretty natural cycle minus the fact that I had a trigger shot.

This is my story in a nutshell! I hope my story gives you hope who's waiting!! And congrats to those who are pregnant!!

Ladies I can’t sleep. I’ve just found out that a good friend of mine has passed away.
He was from Chicago and he was Christian and that’s how we became friends. One of the nicest kindest dearest souls ever.
he and his wife always sent us a Christmas card all the way from America, I kept them All. I just can’t believe he’s gone.

I know now tho he is with Jesus in heaven and no longer in pain and suffering. And that does give me some peace even tho I am heartbroken.

I'm so so sorry for your loss. It sounds like he was sick. It's so hard to feel relief for a person who's safe in the arms of Jesus and not feel anymore pain, but he leaves behind a lot of broken hearts.

I will say a prayer for you tonight to experience God's calming and healing presence to carry you through this difficult period.

Sorry for the late update today ladies, been at work and I had a pretty bad day. I work in a pub and we had to call an ambulance cos a customer was having a fit. It was pretty stressful although he was fine in the end but its left me a bit shaken.
I've done a couple of tests today but not studied them too hard I've not had chance.. Maybe possible shadows again.. Here's some quick pics
