Babee_bugs if it makes you feel any better and I can't remember if I said this before but hcg leaves your blood first and urine second with miscarriage so I would say your blood hcg is close to 0 and you've just got the remnants of hcg in your urine still. Usually with a d&c you are less likely to have retained products but it is still possible, all it would have to be is a slither of tissue but in reality it has only been a month since your d&c it isn't an unrealistic time frame, my specialist said anything up to 6 weeks is considered normal although on average it takes 30 days. Anything after 6 weeks and they start looking at things a bit closer. Even still they didn't look at me seriously until I hit 10 weeks and still had hcg present ! Hang in there I know its difficult but your very close to the end ! Still get your hcg done though to check they are dropping reasonably.

Madrid I seen my doctor last week and he didn't have a clue!... I knew more than him, he just sat there, going hmmmmmmmm

I feel like a well crazy woman, going oh I have positive pregnancy tests but I'm not even pregnant... I told my mum and she looked at me as though i was dreaming it.

I told OH tonight I don't wish To Ttc anymore, he asked why etc... So I'm glad I've got that sorted. When I get AF I'm going to the doctors and getting the pill. I need to distance myself a lot from trying to get pregnant, to then think oooo I might be. I need to take some control back and try to put all of this behind me, at least for a few months if not longer... This is the biggest hardest decision I've ever had to make ... But for nearly 3 bloody years, it's been nothing but sheer torment

I have taken a complete break for the last 5 months so I know how you feel, I've been trying for 5 years almost every month too, it's been nice to take the break, I really needed it, we did bd this month and I'll start the crazy testing this weekend, I'm praying for you

Maureen that's exactly what I feel would be the best for me, I honestly feel like I've been kicked in the gut and robbed of my child ...

I did the last test out of my old bunch of tests (I was glad just to get rid of them)

I'm gonna have to go Friday, my OH is working today and tomorrow, I went on my own last time I just felt like was nuts saying to a doctor that I was getting positive tests but I wasn't pregnant hahaha...

I think I'll feel better with my partner next to me.

I know this is just old hcg, so I'm not hopeful it's a new pregnancy or anything like that. I'm just frustrated that I want my af, so that I can return back to normal.

Is there anything a doctor can give you to make af come early, or would it just be best to let my body do that?

Hey hunni i understand whereb ur coming from i miscarried in the new year and cycles been stupid ever since they crazy anyway due to pocos after 6yrs of ttc i decided this month i was going on the pill to help with all pms symptoms as even tho i was gettin the cramps backache and all i rarely had a bleed it was unbearable my gp gave my something called norestherone i think thats how it spelt the last time i didnt have af and unfortunately that didnt work. then a stupid locum decided to prescribe medroxyprogesterone and when i spoke to my gp they sed that wouldnt help as they dont produce real periods they just induce a bleed.

It might just be me and I dont want to confuse you any more but that test you posted today seems darker?

Yeh your right Maureen, today's does seem darker... BUT (there's always a but lol)... Yesterday's I did it about dinner time after I had 2 cups of tea, so was probs just diluted..

Where as today's I did it with first morning urine, so this could explain the difference in darkness :sigh:

Well I think my body is making some progress? I've got cramps and backache, but seems to be more right sided though? I've gone to check cervix etc and it's high, firm and tightly closed. I've got creamy CM... So that rules out ovulation.

I really hope and pray that it is indeed AF getting ready to show her face

Bbwardle = I haven't really got a clue when it comes to contraceptive pills...

10 year ago I use to be on cilest and fell pregnant with my eldest whilst still on it haha... Then after my secon son, I went on the depo injection one, that didnt agree with me and for the last 4 years I haven't used any form of contraceptive... It literally took that whole time for my cycles to return to a nice predictable length ...

It does still sound like old hCG, b/c it would be much darker than your last test if it were a new preg, imo. Thinking of you.

Oh it's for deffo old hcg, no doubt about it... I think it's just due to the concentration of my urine, which produced a much slighter darker line today...

I've got no more tests now thank god! So there not gonna be sat in the draw calling me to test lol

I've got cramps and so I'm hoping it's af on route (hopefully)

Well by now you would think I should know better

I totally forgot I bought more tests!... So as in true poas style, I've dipped one

And now I feel bloody nuts!, because today the line is darker and is more pinkier looking? I don't understand, lastnight I had cramps and backache more so on my side, it couldn't of been ovulation as my cervix was hard high and firmly closed also I haven't had EWCM for days now... I honestly thought it was AF getting ready to come, but that pain has gone now and I haven't had any bleeding... And I doubt I won't get AF with lines still like this

I see it, but it still looks like the other tests did to me I think that if this were a new pregnancy, your lines would be getting noticeably darker each day, and it would be easy to see the progression. When is your doctor's appt.? Tomorrow? xoxo

I do the same thing. I had a very early loss (chem. but I hate that word) last month, and I went nuts with testing...spent a couple hundred on tests. xoxo So I get it.

And yes I totally agree with you on the chemical pregnancy, it sounds so clinical. I went to the hospital after I had mine, I think just out of pure frustration. They also tried to brush it off saying you wouldn't of known if you hadn't of tested early.. In future I suggest that you wait till your period is late then test!

When I went for my d&c after my last miscarriage the term there use is 'evacuation of retained products from conception' NICE!
