BD House Photo Challenge

I can't get over how the water in Hawaii is actually blue. Any time I've ever been to the beach, the water is brown and impossible to see through. And looks gross. And I've been to the beach plenty of times in different states. The only time I've seen clear ocean waters is when we went to the Caribbean when I was 10.

Totally. We have beaches but the water is not the least bit inviting... although the more north you go the prettier the water gets but it also get colder. :dohh: Hawaii and Florida are the two places I've been with water I WANT to be in. I love swimming in those waters! Screw my beach!

Photo Challenge: From a high angle

Looking out behind the spa where I work. I was hoping to see a deer or something, but not today. It's actually pretty high but I don't think the picture really captures it. It also made me notice that there's a tree that's about to fall over back there.

Places I would like to visit (to name a few) - UK, Australia, Florida, and NY :thumbup:

Here's my from below, wayyy early... because I won't have time to do it Friday.
This is the view, looking up, into the Post Oak canopy in my backyard. Keeps my yard 10-15 degrees cooler than the surrounding areas, so I can't complain too much when they litter all over my lawn at the end of the year!

@Snackimals: great shot!

Loooooooove the sugar skulls!! I'm slightly obsessed with skulls.

Oh i love them too!!! :) <3 Oh has a few tattooed on his back....rrraawwwr. ahahaha

Oh trust me, they're not sugar skulls! Hahaha. They're ceramic Dia de los Muertos skulls. We started making a point of buying Muertos skulls every different place we go in Mexico. It's kinda cool too see different styles and concepts in Muertos art...

Love all you shots ladies! Can't wait till tomorrow!

Happy Friday ladies,

This is the Victoria Palace Theatre, near my office, where Billy Elliot has been playing forever (i have STiLL not seen it). I walked past it at lunch time today, the sun was shining... :)

Agreed. Moo is OK to cheat ;)

LIL!!! Your picture is fine! I LOVE LOVE LOVE it!

Nicki... you are making it so hard for me to push back a trip to the UK....

I tried to take a low-angle picture of the chickens, but they were being crotchety (it's hot, I guess). So instead, here is a ceramic turtle that washed up in our yard after a rain.
