Beach Bump Graduates!

Amanda, he's a cutie! Great pictures! I love the one with both the kids on the floor. Matilda looks like she's having a great time.

Jenni, you'll go back to your old clothes soon. You had such a good exercise routine.

Simmy and Amanda, beautiful pics of you LOs! I will try and put some on later of Harrison, i cant believe how much he is changing already, is turning into a proper little chubster!

Can completly sympathise on the clothes issue, i too can not get into any of my pre pregnancy clothes, did buy a few bits in the sales in the next size up in anticipation of this though. The thing thats disturbing me more than anything else is that I STILL HAVE A BUMP that makes me look about 4 months pregnant! I did expect to be flabby around there but not to actually still have a bump going on! It is reducing though not quick enough for my liking. Havent been able to do proper excercise because of the section but have been walking and and doing bits around the house has helped i think. Was tempted to start on the cross trainer today but think id better leave that another week as although am feeling pretty good on the outside, my insides have still got lots of healing to do.
We had a pretty good night last night compared to a few of the previous ones. Harrison fed at 9pm, 12am, 4am and 8am and went straight back to sleep after every feed which was great.
We started the "Bathtime routine" last week, so we bath at around 6pm, Harrison then gets into his pajamas and has a 7pm feed, then its essentually "bedtime" I think hes starting to like the baths!

Today, we are just going to go for a dogwalk and pop into town later on. The sun is shining, i hope it lasts !
Hope you all have good days xx

Lovely pics Amanda and Simmy :)

Clothes not fitting - I hear ya! To make matters worse, it's been any where from 30 to 40 degrees over here (with the humidity) and I've had family visiting from the UK so we have been going out for supper etc. and I've been pretty much wearing the same capris, dress and tops (2) to every 'event'! Can't wait to see all the pictures either! I made sure to have Hailey in them with me to justify my plumpness and lack of wardrobe changes!:)

Cameron was a hood sleeper and it looks like Hailey is following in his footsteps... For the last week or 2 she takes her last feed at 10 or 10:30 and sleeps through to 5 or 5:30! I don't want to jinx it, but think we might have a night time routine established! Yay!

Sherri, I cannot believe how 'crazy' your life is! It seems like anything that could happen does happen to you - hope things settle down now that Colby is on his new formula and crazy psychos can no longer read your Facebook page :)

Hailey goes for her 2 month (hard ro believe) appt. on Friday and I am already freaking out about her shots! I've already been through it with Cameron, but I just remember how tough this first ones were, for me! :)

Hope you are all well and that you have/had a great day!

gosh gillian i can't believe hailey is nearly 2 months already! You had the same due date as me, and Leo is only 12 days old  Due date, schmue date...

Amanda - great pics of billy! I still have to get around to doing my 'arty' shots - i just need him to stop crying for a good 30 minute chunk!

Melly - i'd avoid the cross trainer just yet hun, just enjoy your time with Harrison. Seriously make sure you wait out the full 6 weeks so that your internal stitches can heal, otherwise you'll set yourself back. :flower:

Hann the sleepin through the night thing does happen on its own. Soph has started going for longer and longer stretches and she's Bf'd. If you're really knackered, do less stuff and sleep when she does xxxx

Am also not loving my giant spare tyre.....

Some of you struggling with breastfeeding may find this article helpful or interesting!

Breastfeeding - Surviving the first SIX WEEKS!

Linds those booties are gorgeous but I don't think Atti would rock them haha

Thanks eve for the link!

Linds I love the booties!

Mel - you can't do any exercise that might work your stomach muscles until 6 weeks have passed as you have to wait for them to move back. If you exercise before they have they may never move back and you will be left with a wobbly tummy. Be careful!
I'd just do lots if walking for now.

Just been to have annabelle weighed she has put on a pound in 19 days and is now 6 pounds 15!!

Taking photos of a baby is trickier than I thought. The no-cry window is so short sometimes...hehe. I also got a huge smile, but didn't have the camera close by, so maybe she'll do it again while I'm ready. Here are the latest Jillybean photos.

So glad (no offence everyone!) that everyone is struggling to fit into normalclothes too!!! I'm slobbing about today in my maternity jeans and a vest top - looking classy as ever!!!

Mel - I was advised to not exercise after the section for at least six weeks. Plus they said no direct ab exercises for three months (no crunches etc) so I'm going to adhere to that. I am really keen to get got again as I used to run a lot but I'm going to wait and then start gently and work up in intensity. It's quite frustrating though!!

Thanks for the advice girls, i know i should wait. its just i feel so great, better than i did my whole pregnancy ( thats how BAD i felt if i feel this great after a section) and i almost feel normal and for me normal is exercising. oh well im sure i can wait a bit longer!

Has anyone had their little one being sick after feeds? Ajay is sick now - never was when I breast fed - only about a teaspoon every feed but he also is heavy breathing like it's on his chest.

We try and wind him but it's not easy and sometimes we get nothing out. I have the health visitor over tomorrow so I will ask her but any advice? I thought it may be reflux? What can I do for that? We already give infacol.

Thanks guys! x

hi ladies hope your all well.

josh is bf but brings a little back most feeds. i saw a hv today at a bf club and she said it was fine and not to worry.

Caz - N has reflux. She was either projectile vomiting after 85% of her feeds and was in a lot of pain. She has been on infant gaviscon for 2 weeks now and for the best part it seems to be working but we have still had the occassional incident of projectile sick out her nose!! This girl has some range!! If you think it is reflux try stopping and winding after each ounce, feeding in an upright position and keeping him upright for at least 20 minutes following a feed. Baths also really help with the tummy cramps.

Hann - Hope you got on ok today with Greg back at work, I remember how daunting it felt.

BV and Amanda - Jill and Billy are very cute.

Glad everyone else is doing well. :)

Lindsay - totally loving those boots - wonder if they do them in our size???

BV, Simmy and Amanda - lovely baby pics. They are all so cute.

Mel - I am itching to go swimming but am waiting til I have had my six week check and then ask about it. Hopefully they will agree and I can get rid of my wobbly tum.

GW - wow can't believe it's two months already since we all started to pop. Hope Hailey's jabs go okay.

Caz - Logan has milky burps after quite a few of his feeds and he is bf. I think he is just greedy and his tummy can't cope with the amount he takes from me.

Hann - hope you had a good day today with Greg not being there. Duncan goes back to work tomorrow so that will be a bit of a culture shock for me as he has been off nearly 3 weeks.

Sherri - sorry you had such a horrid time. Hopefully things will get better for you soon.

AFM - Josh came back from France this afternoon so that is fab. We have missed him so much but he seems to have had a great time. Taking him to get the last couple of bits for going back to school which starts again two weeks tomorrow. The summer hols seem to have flown past this year.

I am quite lucky in so far as I am 4lbs less than before I got pregnant. DH got my pre pregnancy clothes down from the loft. Most of it fits apart from a couple of pairs of trousers so I am chuffed. However, I was very overweight before I got pregnant and want to loose between 3-4 stone to be at a reasonable weight so the weightloss battle is something I really want to focus on.

Caz - Leo spits up more formula than breast milk. I guess he just guzzles a bit too much!

Ok, Leo was crying like a maniac just now. I ruled out all the usual suspects (hunger, poo, wee, heat etc) and he was still crying, so I tried my last resort, the victoria slinglady sling. He is now sleeping like the most contented little bubba ever! Mucho impressed.

Thanks for all your advice about the sickness. I feel reassured that Ajay isn't the only one. He has eaten LOADS today - a whole day full and he has one more feed to go! So I will def try more winding, baths and keeping him upright as well - all great suggestions, thank you everyone!

Simmy - yay for the sling! We haven't got one yet but spoke about it over the weekend and should get one.

Curlew - lucky you with the weight loss, amazing progress!!!!!

Smazi - so glad your little one is doing so well!

Off to bed at 9 pm to get a few hours in before the night feed. Hoping I can sleep well tonight! xx

soph goes to sleep immediately in the baby bjorn. I went out earlier with her in the carrier and had a cuppa and some cake and read the paper while she slept. Lahv-lee!

My plan fir an early night was foiled by my little darling! He won't sleep so I've sent Neel off to bed as he has work tomorrow. So Ajay is trying nit to sleep on me, although he is drifting off!!! Bless him - he is tired as am I!!! Hope all your babies are sleeping well x
