I woke up and took my temp and it's really low today, lower than yesterday. I swear, if this is a progesterone issue like I've been harping on about and all the doctors and nurses I've seen have brushed me off saying "progesterone suppolements are useless, or a pregnancy will fail, it will fail". :( easy for them to say - they make money off people's heartache :(

I need this to work out so badly. We have been TTC for close to 5 years and each month makes it harder to continue on this journey, even though having a baby is all that we want. :(

You know you can get some progestrone cream OTC that is pretty good right? You can order it online. There are lots of ladies that do it and are just fine, with or without a dr's "approval". Just throwing that out there. But I still think your numbers are wonderful and that they will be fantastic for the next one. Have you still been doing PT's? How are those looking? Like I said, maybe you should go get like 10 of the .88 cent walmart cheapies, bc they are great for progression, and use them in the meantime. Or PM me and I will send you some of the lab test that I have. They worked really good for flippormama if she's any where around here, when she was worried like you are. Just a thought. They could be there in about two days if I mail them out tonight ;)
 
AND if I'm not mistaken I think a midwife can get it for you too. Just another thought :) Chin up. I'm sure all is well and when your new numbers come in that nurse will deserve a karate chop to the neck :rofl:
 
Those suggestions sound great (thank you!) but unfortunately I am in Australia, and progesterone is a restricted medicine that can only be prescribed by a fertility specialist, and absolutely nothing containing progesterone can be sold OTC. :( same goes for Walmart tests - no Walmart here. I have a bunch of Internet cheapies, 3 FRER and a CBD. I am too scared to test.

My mum contacted me earlier and let me know my grandmother is in the hospital so now I am worried about her too.

I just hope and pray that everything will be ok.

I think you should test. I think it would help. What were you using before? It was the FRER's right? Then keep on with them. You haven' taken one in a while, it should reassure you pretty good to see a nice line on it. BC I'm willing to bet that there will be a nice one on there. I forgot that you are in AU. Damn. That sucks. You could always try to order it and see if it makes it through customs.... :shrug: OR look online and see if their are any doctors online that will prescribe it for you? Can just a regular doctor not Rx it for you, bc it's not just used for fertility/conceiving, it's used for menopause,

Actually, here is a little article that tells you all it's uses when Rx'd:

Progesterone cream is sometimes used in hormone replacement therapy and for treating menopausal symptoms such as hot flashes. Topical progesterone is also used for treating or preventing certain allergies in which hormones play a role; and for treating bloating, breast tenderness, decreased sex drive, depression, fatigue, lumpy (fibrocystic) breasts, headaches, low blood sugar, increased blood clotting, infertility, irritability, memory loss, miscarriages, brittle bones (osteoporosis), bone loss in younger women, symptoms of PMS, thyroid problems, "foggy thinking," uterine cancer, uterine fibroids, water retention, weight gain, and vaginal irritation (vulval lichen sclerosis).

Progesterone gel is sometimes used inside the vagina to expand the cervix (cervical ripening), treat breast pain in women with noncancerous breast disease, and to prevent and treat abnormal thickening of the lining of the uterus (endometrial hyperplasia).

Progesterone is also used intravaginally or by injection for treating infertility and symptoms of (PMS).


So could you not get a dr to rx it for you for some of those things? There are also things that contain progesterone in them with other things that you "may" be able to get through customs, as it's not exactly a prescription and labeled for other uses.

When I was seeing my GP, I asked her in the past about it and she showed me her computer and that she could not proceed with the prescription because her system would not allow it because she did not have the authority to prescribe that type of medication. Believe me, I have looked into all of this and tried everything :( :( :(

I ended up testing with SMU (I slept all day and held it with no water) and the FRER is only a smidge darker than yesterday morning, which is still not really all that dark. I am not feeling confident at all. :( these feelings are all too familiar.

NO, that is GREAT progression for one day!!! You should be happy! I would kill (not literally, lol) for those two beautiful pink, progressing wonderfully lines!!!!!! That is WONDERFUL. I am so, so, so, happy to see it that much darker!!! You need to be celebrating and dancing around the house with it in your hand! Screaming I'm pregnant! I'm pregnant! I'm pregnant!!! No, joke, that is really great progression for one day! Now, compare that one to the very first one you did. Do a pic of it. Then line them all up and take a pic.
 
I even just looked again, just to be sure, and that line from today is WAY darker, it's thicker, more solid, everything about it screams a sticky healthy baby!!! OMG :wohoo: So glad you posted that!!! I'm over the moon for you, seeing the progression you got going on over there!!!

Well, I'm invested now ;) And you should know, even though, I do want you to feel better about everything, I am NOT just saying what I think you want to hear. I really do think your lines look fabulous, and that there is definite progression between them. Have you went and laid all of them out yet? How about comparing the first one you had to the last one you took? That's when it's going to seem the most different, at least to you. After looking at where you began and then now I think it will help you feel better about it, bc those lines have come quite a ways. It will just be a stark difference to you if you just compare the first and the last one next to each other. I'd also like to see a pic of them and then all of them lined up. You got this, girl! stay positive and keep on trucking, don't let the negativity get to you, and please try ( I know it's easier said then done) to relax. Could you go get a massage tomorrow or your nails/toes done or something? To try to help you relax and keep your mind off things? Have you been testing with FMU or SMU? My FMU is always horrible for testing, and my SMU always give me darker lines, so maybe if you have been doing FMU, try doing the SMU?

The only test I have done with FMU is the one from yesterday. When I get home I'll line them all up and take a pic - we have just left the hospital. My Nanna is having some blood transfusions and will hopefully be feeling better very soon. We decided to tell her while no one was there, because the only people that knew about our pregnancy loss while it was happening were my Nanna and Mum, and they didn't get to share in any joy with us. So we thought we need to embrace it all right now. Nanna was very happy! I am her first grandchild and this will be her second great grandchild (my cousins baby is 7 months).

I'm hoping to step away from testing completely tomorrow and just do one on Friday for beta reference. I am hoping that the lines will be nice and dark and that everything will go smoothly. I hope that whatever happens, you ladies will be here in support like you have been so far. I couldn't do this without you xx
