Breastfeeding Support - 6 months and beyond!

I am usually exactly the same with NIPing! That's why it was such a shock for me that I roll lo into a toilet!
Looking back I think it was because me and lo were both stressed and everytime I calmed him down fil was trying to take him off me,so it was either go to the toilet or snap big time on fil!
And also fil is sooo pervy even oh has started noticing its gross

it took me until Eva was about 11 - 12 months to get confidence with NIP, i found tonnes of places here have breast feeding rooms or i would choose to go back to the car. The very few times i've done it in public i've covered up everything and still i felt so awkward and horrible. Then all of a sudden i stopped giving a shit. Now i feed everywhere whenever i want, on a train, at a stadium with 30,000 people around me i've done half a dozen times as i go to watch the football often even though they have a breast feeding room. I don't know what it is, i just all of a sudden got my confidence, i think it's because Eva is older i dare anyone to cross my path and release the passion i feel about breastfeeding my daughter. lol.

MiL said to me the other day 'Evie is so well behaved when I look after her and when you return she is like a different child, it's because you are STILL breastfeeding and that's all she wants you for'

i always respected women NIP and thought "good for them!!!" but when it came to myself i was much more shy and just didn't want to do it in public. TBH the biggest reason was because i didn't want to upset the people who are offended or feel awkward for it :-/ But then if i gave her an expressed bottle i felt everyone who walked past was thinking "oh another baby on formula" so i honestly in my head couldn't win either way so that was why i always just fed her in the car or something.

Betheney, you cant win over everyone no matter how you feed your LO. Well done feeding in a stadium of 30k!

I've noticed my LO has been making a lot of noise while feeding, sort of a car starting noise lol. I dont remember it from my other 3! Any ideas what this is? NIPing with the noise

Eva does it too, it's like a grunting but there is no built up pressure so i know she's not pooping. I sometimes think it's when she's annoyed with me like when my boob is too much in her face she likes her mouth to touch my nipple and thats it. If i push my boob into her chin or anything she get's all angry. But sometimes the grunting doesn't seem to have a reason.

He is truly awful,him and mil do a lot for us and the boys but he's rancid and pervy!
Like the other week it was my bday and him and mil came to watch the boys for us! I went upstairs to get dressed and came down wearing a nice jumper with leggings and I could feel an see his eyes wondering Bleugh

Zack like to make a noise feeding kinda like a mmmmmmmmmmmmm noise he also likes to touch and rub my other boob/nipple when he's feeding although I don't allow that in public lol

Your FIL sounds disgusting. I couldn't stand that. My friends dad was like that. He used to let us get wasted despite the fact we were 15. Then one day when I was really wasted he asked me to strip tease for him. I never went to that friends house again.

Does anyone know if your period makes yor milk supply lower?
I am currently on my period and when Evie was nursing this morning she was getting very annoyed and squeezing my boob and saying more milk

Absolutely!!! Once my period is over i usually leak alot for 1 day because Eva has been sucking on empty breasts for the last week so once my period finishes my boobies say "HERE'S ALL THAT MILK YOU WANTED!!!"

She was getting so cross this morning and really squeezing me and it hurt!!

These pervy old men sound awful!! Very glad to not have one of them around!

I cant talk about AF this time as its not returned yet (almost 10m) but in the past I remember them feeling emptier, LO's would always feed more and it would hurt lol and there was more leaking after. Also it would be the same for a couple days around ovulation.

Glad to know Eilidh is not the only one with the noise

Ouch at pinching the other nipple, thankfully not having that either, she likes to hold/pinch my arm instead

It drives me crazy! We got into this habbit of Rosie waking up at 5 am (I don't kow why!!!) and I would leave a boob out for her and she started to fiddle with them so I've started putting them back away when she's not drinking

I don't mind Zack doing it he's usually very gentle,but when he tugs on them I just move his hand and tell him to be gentle and that usually works
