I really wanna get out there n meet new pol but then I get scared, silly me!

Evie is still biting me and really hard too!

It hurts so much and I tell her firmly "biting hurts mummy" and then she bursts into tears :(

She had one small feed at 7am and is very tired but I can't get her to sleep and each time I try the boob she feeds for 10 seconds then bites and pulls herself away from my boob with my nipple still in her mouth!

Help

yeah we have Aob now! weird it was like yesterday you where pregnant.

Anyway my mums taking extra stupid pills lately. I really dont know what to make of her. On the phone there:

me : mum can you pick up my inhalers in chemist darren keeps forgetting,
mum: will tomorrow do,
me ok then I havnt got a lot in my inhaler left so I hope i dont get an attack.
mum: you never had an asthma attack
me: ehh what? I have and how would you know? I have been asthmatic since i was a teen.
mum: being weazy is not asthma, you have to be in hospital after an asthma attack
me: yes thats the start of an attack and if i diont get my inhaler I shall turn purple and be in hospital .

And this is from a woman who has asthma all her life.
yesterday:

mum: you used to throw up yuor milk all the time, (laughs)
me: yes mum thats the cows milk protein in formula. (we where discussing Alex throwing up when i drink milk).
mum: theres no cows milk in formula!!!
me: what did you think formula was made out of breastmilk?
mum. shakes head and dismisses me as wrong.

Other day when I asked her to get me chocolate spread as I am addicted to it and the odd time william has a sandwich with it as I cant get him to eat the best of days and he will eat that.

mum hands me jar.
me: did you see that nutella advert was banned as they claim its nutriciious for kids and at breakfast time especially.
her: huh? why?
me: explained above again
her: looks like I am making stuff up at her the look on her face. Whats wrong with it your sister has that?
me: yes mum but not when its for kids breaskfast you hardly have that for breakfast and its not nutricional aws they claim.
her: nore is that chocolate spread .
me yes mum I know i am not feeding my child that for breakfast thats mine

Then at party

me to dad when he handed me Alex
dad: you want to go in your room and feed him, he said this discretely like it was a secret.
me: no i am not hiding in my room at my sons party in my house to feed my son.

at this point I seen my mum on the other end of the room turn to my aunt with a snotty look on her face making pfft looks .
My aunt said: what did she say ? (thats when mum turned to her and made the face)
Mum: she says she isnt going to her room to breastfeed Alex. The tone of her voice! and looks they gave
wtf do i have to always hide? she says toilets and bedroom's are for breastfeeding. my aunt near has a heart attack when i feed Alex and her sons are there she urshers them away . breastphobs! chocolate is ok gor 3 month olds to. ffs. I wont go on will be here forever.

miss_bump- Is she teething right now? The only time emma bites like that is if she's trying to work in a new tooth. I hope for your sake it's just a phase and she'll stop. I really can't advise anything else but what you are already doing. Obviously it gets across a little if it makes her cry. :flower:

aob- Welcome dear!! Congrats on 6 months!!! Such a great milestone! Here's to many more milestones to come!! :flower:

DF- All I can say is try your best to let it go in one ear and right back out the other. :hugs::hugs: It's clear they aren't going to learn.

Nothing new from me really. I've been watching 'Say Yes to the Dress' on netflix the past few days and it makes me want to get married again. I emailed DH and told him I want to renew our vows so I can buy another wedding dress. I want to go to Vegas and have Elvis renew our vows. How great would that be?! Our 10 year anniversary is coming up this year. Not wedding anniversary but our anniversary from when we started dating.(wedding is 7 years this year:shock:) It's on new years eve so I think that'd be so cool to go to vegas to get vow renewals on new years eve. :p We've been to vegas once before and loved it. I'm sure we won't actually do it but it seems like a fun idea right now. In my head at least.

Nothing new from me either. Working long hours and missing being at home with Alyssa. I leave at 8 every morning and don't ever get home before 6 :( Just time for quick dinner, bath and bed.
Thank goodness I have every Sunday, every other Saturday (and a Thursday when I've worked the previous Saturday).

I can't believe my baby will be 2 on Tuesday... she's a proper little girl now.

I know. Seems like only yesterday you were expecting Leni, and now here he is, a beautiful, bonny baby boy... 6 months old already

What a mess....

Evie still hasnt fed since 7am

I offered tonight and she bit hard again :( and cried for ages

I was worried about dehydration so took he downstairs and gave her 2oz of water and now she is asleep in my bed with no sleep bag on or anything. That's my fault

Should I try a dream feed? Ive never done it before do I just offer my nipple to her lips?

I'm just concerned she hasn't fed for over 12 hours :(

Welcome aob :)

Thanks Cleckner I think she could be teethin she has been fussy and clingy today whi h isn't like her

Aww thank you .. he is quite a little fatty :haha:

I bet the last 2 years if your life has flown by! :cloud9:

Absolutely flown by! I honestly don't know where they've gone  Valentine's Day evening will be 2 years since I went into labour, and they've vanished in the blink of an eye.

Miss_Bump recommended I come over here and say hi...so hi everyone!

I've been breastfeeding Bella for 7 months now and my current plan is to make it to at least a year and then stop when she's not interested anymore.

It took me about 2 months to get breastfeeding established. She wasn't gaining much in the beginning and they narrowed it down to a supply issues. I've been taking Fenugreek since Bella was 2 months and it's worked wonders for us!

Welcome venus ;)

Are you still taking fenugreek?

Yes. I've run out of it before and noticed a huge difference in my feeds again. She would eat more often again. It dips when I get my period too, so the Fenugreek really helps even it out.

Congrats on the 6 months aob!

Df, your family are nobs, sorry but they are. They need some bloody education in parenting choices and tact!

Cleckner, how old were you when u got married? Did u get any hassles from people for being 'young'

I was only 17 when I got married. My parents had to sign their consent over for me to marry him. :shy: But it was a week and a half before my 18th birthday. We did get a lot of hassle for marrying so young. DH was 20 at the time of us getting married so it wasn't as huge of a deal on his side, but a few of his family members did outright say 'don't do it, it will never last, you are way too young'. Aunts and uncles are the ones that made comments, his parents and my parents were all for it. We'd been together for nearly 3 years when we got married and I'd already dealt with a deployment before I had even graduated high school. I graduated highschool and married him 3 months later. :cloud9: That's why I have 04 in my name on here because it was a big year for me. :haha: And I think after nearly 7 years we've proved ourselves to the aunts and uncles. Especially since our marriage has outlasted some of their children's marriages. :muaha:
