Thanks Wrap. I didn't have high hopes for this month, so I am just ready for AF to come already so I can get started on my next cycle. A BFP would great, but I am definitely not counting on it.

Haha can't help myself and took another IC and again I think I see something. Plus, my uterus is so tight and it feels kinda sore. If I remember correctly I had this when I was pregnant with my son. I just want to know one way or the other!!!

Alright guys... so I decided to dip an ovulation test because I have heard that some people get positive ones when they are pregnant. I dipped one a few days ago and it was so light it was barely there. What do you make of this? It's almost as dark as when I got my LH surge around the 16th. Added second picture that I took about a minute later and it's darker. So lost. Am I ovulating a second time?

Wow! That definitely looks like a nice and thick line!. I might have to dig out some of my tests and see if I have any ovulation test left. I'm not sure how accurate they are but I've definitely read they can detect pregnancy.

I know someone just posted that they had one and that they were pregnant but all my HGC tests are either super squinters (I don't really trust those because they could be line eye or the indent line) so I don't know what to think.

Well I guess those tests can at least give you a little more hope? Other than that the only thing we can do is keep testing and waiting . I don't even trust the test that I saw a faint faint line on either.

I've heard they can pick up pregnancy too. Fingers crossed that's what's happening for you.

The opk detecting pregnancy myth.... It is extremely rare that an opk will pick up earlier than a hpt. A dark opk can mean a couple things- it could be darkened by picking up some hcg sure enough, but more likely it is the natural growing estrogen and sometimes a spike of lh just before AF.
Most women who get a positive opk usually do so only after a hpt is positive and a ton of women never get the positive opk in pregnancy at all.

Doesn't mean you should give up hope- just is what it is.

Thanks Cpp. Im pretty sure AF will get me this month and to be honest I just wish it would happen already. I already plan to call and make my appointment with a fertility specialist tomorrow. I just feel like if I was pregnant I would be getting more than those squinters that I have been getting. The ovulation test just shocked me. I had no idea that they could go dark like that right before AF.

Yep, some women get a brief lh surge as the progesterone falls and estrogen goes dominant again, just before af. Not all women for sure, but definitely some do.

Well, I guess I will just keep hoping until AF get me or not. Im still going to make an appt but I know I will just keep testing away. Thank god for IC's! I would go broke testing with FRER every day.

Thanks Pink, I hope I do too. I know I didnt get dark ones last month right before but that doesnt mean anything until I get my BFP! That OPK was also on a 2 1/2 hour hold so it wasnt super concentrated pee.

As for my symptoms, I have a lower back ache that comes and goes, a heavy feeling in my uterus (not normal for me at all), no sore boobs (again not normal. They always hurt right before AF), and I cant stop burping. Not too sure if the last one is a sign but again not normal for me.

So I called and set up my appt with a fertility specialist for May 17th. Still not out this month but getting less hopeful. No real symptoms unless you count constipation, lower back ache and full feeling in my uterus.
