Yikes- don't be jealous! I am getting most of these suckers off as soon as I'm done having kids. I wish I was a C! So much back pain and they get in the way a lot. I can't wait till I can buy bras for $20, or an actual bathing suit because I don't fit into any of those, I have to swim in sports bras, or cute clothing! If a shirt fits my boobs I'm swimming in the rest of it, or if it fits me elsewhere then my boobs are popping out like a porn star. I've thought about this a lot lol!

So exciting for you ladies! I'm getting to the point where being pregnant is old news! I'm showing but not huge and birth doesn't seem imminent lol. I am dreaming of birth every night though! Last night I dreamt I gave birth and they said "okay, now for the second!" and I was thinking "WTH! No one told me it was twins!"

I feel massive already, so pregnancy is definitely top of mind for me. I am planning a shower for one of my colleagues too... so I am in total baby-mode!!

Anyone else struggling not to eat all of the Halloween candy everywhere?? I bought those mini chocolate bars (which I don't even like) and can't stop devouring them!! LOL

Yes! I bought a box of mini dorito's. There is only 8 chips or so per bag and so I'll eat 4 of them in a sitting!

JeepGirl yes it is! My OH and I rode on our motorcycle from Southern Ontario all the way there and to PEI a couple years ago. It was an amazing trip!

That would be a great trip on a motorcycle. I love Peggy's cove, we often end up there on weekend drives, its about an hour from where I live. My OH is from PEI, so we go there a lot as well.

Anyone in Montreal using a doula? Or know any threads here or elsewhere where there are recommendations??

I'm trying to find a doula, due date is Dec. 31, so tricky with the holidays. I contacted Motherwit already and seems every doula in the area is somehow affiliated with them.

I didn't have much luck however. I did get connected with one doula, who I liked, is in my price range, but has no children of her own. I would really really like someone who has been through this before.

Everyone else is either not taking clients around the holidays or is sky high with their prices $800+.

Feeling very discouraged..

ellyn - Have you asked at your hospital? A friend of mine is a volunteer doula through a program offered at our local children and woman's hospital. Maybe a hospital in your area may offer a similar program

Hi Ladies... Just wondering if anyone has experianced GD? Apperantly, I should have gone for my glucose test earlier then 32 weeks ( I was putting it off cause I figured I was so far away from being at risk that I didnt need it).. Turns out I actually failed the screening portion and am now going for the full ttest tomorrow morning. Not really worried and havent had any issues so far, so Im hoping it was just a fluke high result for what ever reason. I think it has something to do with my eating habits. I am hardly hungry at all. Im not sick or anything, just dont feel hungry and not gaining a ton of weight. I have gained 18 lbs so far, but was about 30 lbs heavier then I should have been to begin with. Kinda odd but my bump is still small and babys is measuring about 31 weeks. I hope it all evens out soon. Not long to go now Hope Eveyrone else is having a great week!

Ps: I added some 3d pictures... still thinking its a boy, dont konw for sure but that little face looks like a boy to me!!

Hey medic - I haven't had my GCT test yet, but I know lots of people fail the the first part and pass the second part, so I wouldn't worry too much!

I went for my GD test on monday.. then called me back on tuesday and want me to see the hospitals nutritionist and start taking my levels before and after eating so iam assuming that i failed miserably because they dont even want to send me back for the two hour test Will know more next thursday. until then im just not worrying about it. Hope it goes well for you.
