By some miracle, my teeth were in awesome shape! She complimented me on my obviously superior dental hygiene habits.....
I did not correct her.
And Simon was a champ! He was so cute in that big chair, very serious and important in the little sunglasses and smock! he got so many compliments.
Tobe was very grumpy and tired and drooling up a storm. The dentist said he can see the canines are on the move - all white and outlined against the gums. That will be fun for all in the next few weeks.
Vickie - I have mixed reviews on the Joovy. I think that it is a well-made and reasonably-priced stroller, and I think that the concept of the sit-&-stand is perfect! We have made huge use of ours. The fact that it is a single-wide makes it practical for shopping, and it's a quick one to collapse and stow in the car.
The one and only downside for me is that the longer length makes it a lot more awkward to maneuver. Tobe is a big boy and we quickly hit a weight that makes pushing a workout.
My husband hates it, but he didn't get to that point until he had used the Chariot, or should I say, the Rolls Royce?
It's a double-wide and not a great shopping option, but it is SO easy to maneuver. Seriously, you can easily do it with one hand.
So, in conclusion, I think it is less about the brand and more about the length of carriage on the sit-&-stand. It's just physics.
I'm still glad we got it and still use it frequently, but it is a work-out. I have the Ultralight, by the way. Terri has the regular one and last I heard, she was still really pleased with hers.
