I have most of the shopping done as a local toy store had an awesome sale at the beginning of October and I picked up a bunch of Brio trains for very cheap. Score!
Just a few little bits for stockings.
Oh, and Simon's birthday. Still trying to decide on that one.....

I've got a couple things - vintage Little People sets as shared gifts, but no individual gifts yet. I think I'm going to get the twins Cabbage Patch dolls and Andrew a Cars theme bed tent and maybe some hot wheels. And then there's all three birthdays in January I mig wait and get birthday gifts during Boxing Week sales though.

That's a great idea Amanda! I'm kinda in the same boat as Claire's bday is 6 days before Christmas lol. But she's just one, I don't have three!

I gt lots on kijiji, we got Peyton a John deer pedal tractor, it's awesome!!!!

I use the FB local city Mom's Swap and Buy. Actually about to go and look at some stuff now once P gets off the phone. Honestly, at times I swear I married a girl.

eBay. I got them a house with all the accessories including a tree house, the Main Street set I had as a kid and a school bus.

I just ordered the twins Cabbage Patch dolls off of the Cabbage Patch doll site. So cute! The shipping was expensive, but I wanted specific dolls (that look like the twins) and I was able to change their names and birthdays to Clara and Ainslie's. I love those Waldorf style dolls, but am going to wait until they are older

Aww what awesome gifts!

I have a few things for the girls, I got them hand puppets from our local toy store here, dolls that "look like them" too like this:

I wish I could just get everyone gift cards but several people in my family natter about them and always want actual presents.

I have no snobbery about gift cards, especially if they are given to someone who has a passion for a particular store/service/whatever - then they get the understanding that you took the time to pick the right gift "place" and they get the pleasure of spending it on whatever they please.
The only awkward thing about gift cards is that they have a monetary amount very apparent. Sometimes people get caught up in that number and give it too much importance, I guess.

Very true. I actually LOVE GC's because I love shopping. But whenever you buy them for someone, you always feel the need to spend more since they do see the $ amount, and that part sucks.
