Nessah have you tested?

Hiya Kelly9

Oh yeah! gave in to pressure :p

I got a BFP yesterday evening!!! :happydance:
We are so excited! Made an appointment with my NP for blood work next week

Still in shock/excited mood since yesterday :)

Can I join too???

I'm Sarah, 28 and ttc #2. We live in Edmonton AB, originally from the BC coast

btw Congrats NesSAH

Ooo! I want to join here! I am from Edmonton, TTC number 1 with 3 angels...:)

Welcome :flower:

I have three  since my daughter we have been trying for number 2 for 10 months now. Two cycles we didn't get to try because oh was working away and 2 other cycles I was waiting for :witch: after having dd

SOrry about the angels! That must have been hard. I couldn't imagine.

I am from Airdrie AB but originally from Halifax, moved here 1.5 years ago or so. Been ttc for 15 cycles now and waiting to start treatment ICSI.

We are waiting on blood tests and a hsg (I think it's called) to see if they can figure out why I miscarry. If not they are going to do genetic counseling???? I don't really know much about this all yet

Welcome sweetie and Momma_bear! Sorry for your angels :hugs:

I'm from Winnipeg or Winterpeg like some like to call it! I've been ttc since this July after I lost my angel at 36.4 weeks.

Good luck to you all and lots of :dust: to you.

Feeling kind of crummy today, stayed home from work because I was sick in the night and still feel  not sure what's up with that think it might be something I ate. Really think this isn't going to be my month as we didn't get to :sex: last night going to try tonight and tomorrow night I think to make up for it.

How many m/c's have you had?

I've had 3 in a span of 9 months. We have been "trying" since dd was born. Waited 2/3 months after she was born for my first cycle and missed 2/3 months of trying because oh was out of town with work :(

I'm really lucky that my obgyn is willing to jump on this right away for us

Meldmac sorry to hear that you aren't feeling well. Hope it isn't that flu that is going around. I've heard that being sick though can actually help you get pregnant because your body is too busy fighting it off to recognize a pregnancy as a foreign thing. Good luck hunny

SO they don't know why you miscarry? I hope they can figure it out so you will have your baby! Did you have as many m/c's before you had your DD?

Welcome NesSAH!! Feel free to grab the sig =)

Thanks Sassy1

Could I just copy and paste the sig?

No, you need the code to put in your sig section. Just make sure to delete the word REMOVE, and the code will work:thumbup:

Hey sassy how did your appointment go?

Wellllllllllllllllll, it was weird and VERY fast. We had Dr. Scott, and she was in quite the hurry, so much so I stopped her several times while she was leaving the consult room to clarify questions. I was NOT impressed, thank God the nurse came in after and re-explained everything.

Anyway, I got the req's for blood work and the full internal , external pelvic ultrasound. But now we are waiting, because I am having surgery in the next few months. I had to have a biopsy done because a few paps came back "iffy" but because my cervix is up to high and apprently covered in scar tissue from my c-section 14yrs ago!! I learned all of this in the past week, so I was abit overwhelmed, thats why I hadnt been on here much. At least now my OBG-YN specialist said he thinks that may be why I havent been getting pregnant. So, Dr. Scott is going to call Dr. Cenaiko and talk about my options, she was thinking perhaps if all our results come back good again, then she wants him to put a "tent" in my cervix after he opens it up in the surgery for my biospy. Oh, forgot to say the reason I have to go to OR for my biopsy is because he was unable to do it, it was extremely painful because of this new found condition, SO glad he discovered this, just a damn shame my family doc didnt bother to look further into my unbearble paps!! Even he said he was surprised she never ordered a U/S to see whats up.

Anyway, long story short, we hurry up and wait. I just hope and pray the surgery / tent will help. Oh, the "tent" is a little device made out of seaweed and bamboo to help prop open my cervix, pretty happy is a natural substance and not metal or plastic!

So, anyone givin out extra prayers, can I have a big one PLEASE! lol

Fingers crossed for you hunny I'm so sorry your doc didn't get this figured out for you sooner.

Oh Sassy hon hope everything works out for you :hugs:

SO will the tent stay in permanently then? I am surprised your surgery in only in a couple months, normally they make you wait ages.

Its because its a biopsy, they are thinking it might be pre-cancer cells. Its not a surgery for the tent thingy, it just happens the fertility clinic think it will save time and healing if they do what they can while I am already under.
