So I have a question for everyone on this thread.... Do y'all have twins in the family?

No twins what so ever anywhere down the line I get to be the first :)

That is so awesome :) I want twins so bad ...I have my first scan next week but I have no twins in my family. I know the chances are low but a girl can dream lol

Well you just never know.. The doc said they thought that I was having twins because of how sick I was but I just laughed at it till I saw it at the scan! My husband and I been trying for over 6 years and did IVF so it was just the best news ever

Y'all are very blessed <3 I wish you a healthy & happy pregnancy!

No! In 1948 my grandmas sister had twins (girl and boy) then 9 more single daughters, so hers was probably random. My Grandma had no twins, neither did her 6 children and neither did their 25 children! EXCEPT for me!

Wow that is awesome! I've always heard you have to have twins in your family..and I know that ivf, and taking things like clomid increases your chances ... But sadly I don't have any of these things lol idk why I want twins so bad!?

Really? You want twins? I bawled when I found out! I do want them both now but at the time I asked if there was two heartbeats almost wanting to hear a No theres just one..... But there was two heartbeats and by the time the ultrasound was over I was over the initial shock. Now Im so stoked to be having the two, tho it will be so busy and full on.

My hubbys dad was a twin but ironically identicals are not heredirory they jusr happen. We haven't used ivf or anything either.

arj

I think our bumps are about the same size, may put a pic up at some stage!!
Did you have good births with your first two??? I wanted to do natural with mine but have been told by my specialist that they will have to be delivered by c section no later that 34 weeks grr not really wanting a c section. depending on what the doc says to you I think that there would be nothing wrong with natural but if you had probs with your first two a c section maybe the way

Why won't your dr let you go past 34 weeks? My dr said she won't let me go past 37 weeks and I can deliver naturally only if the first one is head down and come out naturally. It doesn't matter the position of the 2nd one just so the first can come out.

My DR said we'll be delivering between 38 & 39 weeks.. I'd like to go closer to 37 though... I don't feel to great about the idea of still being pregnant at 39 weeks with twins

So I have a question for everyone on this thread.... Do y'all have twins in the family?

We have 3 sets of twins, all fraternal... And I conceived on Clomid

Has anyone felt there twins moving?? I would have thought that I would have by now as 14 weeks on Thursday! Oh well maybe a little longer to go

3 sets of twins??? Im picking you mean in your (extended) family, not you having 3 sets of twins!?!!

:haha:

No, there's great aunt's, great grand parents and I'm not sure where the other set falls, they are extended family as well though, on my mom's side

There are two sets of twins on my moms side. Not sure who, but somewhere in my Grandma's generation. There are twins on my husband's side also, but I know that has nothing to do with us having twins. lol

As far as the babies moving, I think I felt them move last week. I felt one move a couple of times, then after I ate some spicy sausage, it started moving like crazy! I know it was just gas bubbles or anything. It felt different. It was always in the same area, so I'm thinking that was baby a. I felt the same feeling on my upper right side later, which is where baby b would be. But I haven't really felt them since that. Maybe one other time, but the day after the spicy sausage, the one was going crazy for a while.

At 11wks i thought od felt movement but havent really had it since, surely should start feeling more soon? I'm 14 wks.

Is anyone else more worried with this pregnancy in comparison to previous ones? I'm qiute scared.

I have nothing to compare it to, since this is my first one. But I am beyond scared for my little ones. I got back for another scan next week. I'll be almost 13 weeks. My last scan was at 7 weeks. I am so worried something will be wrong with one of them, or worse, one won't be there anymore. I need to calm down, but some days I just can't help but to worry!!!

I thought I could feel some kinda movements but at 14 weeks I think it's just too early. My last two pregnancies were singletons and felt them at 17 and 18 weeks

Hello, just found this thread so I'm adding in. I'm 7w4d with fraternal twins! My main complaint right now is the morning sickness... I wake up nauseous, I burp ALL DAY, which only makes me more nauseous and eating is almost intolerable. I had to get an IV yesterday at the clinic because I was so dehydrated. :( I'm so frustrated because everyone keeps telling me that I just need to eat and drink more, and they're not understanding how hard that is.

So far I've taken Zofran, Phenergan, Reglan and Vit B6, but nothing really makes the nausea go away. I'm about at my wits end.... if this lasts much longer I'm just going to be a crumpled ball of tears on the floor!!

Other than that, I'm high risk because of some clotting disorders and my hubby and I are trying to move back to the states in the next few months. We've got a LOT on our plates right now! :) I'm excited about this thread... hopefully it'll keep me positive through all this nausea!
