February Clear-Blue-Fertility-Monitor GROUP 6 BFP

Jamesmom, are you gassy? Or maybe your muscles are having a good stretch? Lots of women speak of motion movement in there bellys at a early stage, others don't feel anything so it really depends, what day are you on?

Lucygirl, Hi I'll add you to the list and welcome to the group, how are you settling into your cbfm?

To answer your question, it took me nearly two years to concieve my daughter lots of frustrations but my mom promised me it would be easier to concieve after I had a baby. She was right, we tried off and on when Karissa was 4 or 5 months old but most nights we zonked out from being over tired/new mommy and daddy duties. But when Aug rolled around after I got off my period we beded every other day with out cbfm and we got pregnant, sadly a week and a half later I miscarried/totally unexpected. Anyway we waited for one normal period and then I set my clearblue fertility monitor and we did it again :)

Ok ladies so I have some time to go on the computer....I'm feeling a little pressure, some tugging, and kinda weird in my lower abdomen. Hmmmm.....what is this? It feels like somethings going on down there. (Hint hint) I've never had this before since I only get cramps right before my period. I'm not suppose to get Af until Sunday night or into Monday. Keep you posted!

This and sore BBs were the only symptoms I had. Sounds really positive good luck

OMG! OMG! OMG! OMG! OMG! OMG! OMG! OMG!
I just took a pregnancy test this morning and got my :bfp:!

For the past couple of days I've been feeling pressure and movement in my lower abdomen and I thought that something was going on. I had one more testing stick left in my pack of clearblue sticks so I thought maybe I would just use that stick and see what the lines looked like yesterday morning. Well when I used my one stick yesterday both lines were the darkest blue ever! I didn't want to jinx myself and test too early and get a BFN, so I decided to wait and test this morning with a pregnancy test. WOW! I'm so excited! This is the BEST Christmas present ever! I haven't even told my husband yet, I can't wait to see the expession on his face when he comes home tonight! I told my little boy James, he's going to be the best big brother!

I can't wait to call the doctor's office and make my appointment this morning! The funniest thing ever is that I was just there for my annual last week Monday. The doctor wrote me a prescription for some blood work to tell me if I was pregnant, and he told me I could use it to find out asap if I wanted too. Well after much debating I decided not to use it and to wait for God and nature to tell me. God is ALWAYS teaching me to be more patient, and in my own weird way I thought that my not using it would increase my chances of being pregnant. Weird huh?

I hope all the best for everyone else trying! BABY DUST to you all!
:dust:

cd28, 11dpo today and not looking too good this month. Got a neg hpt yesterday and tested with a cbfm test stick this morning and estrogen line is light and lh line is even lighter. Pretty sure I'm out this month.

Congrats JamesMom!! What exciting news, and I love to hear success stories from the CBFM thread!!! Gives me hope :). Please keep us posted about your journey!

P.S. How long were you TTC and using the CBFM?

Hi Lucygirl!

My DH and I had been trying since May. We would BD when we thought I might be ovulating and nothing happened. Then 3 months ago I bought the CBFM. The first month it successfully showed me one high day, two peaks, and another high. We BD'd, but my husband had a hard time successfully ejaculating when I wanted him to ( I don't know if it is the pressure of this whole thing). The second month using CBFM the monitor showed me my highs and peaks on the same days as the previous month (CD 10,11,12, and 13). We tried to BD again using preseed and my DH was successful on some of the days, but not all. The third month (this month) I decided to BD on CD 6 giving my DH 5 days of having to wait patiently without doing anything! I would tease him off and on from CD 5 up until day 10, but I made him wait. Then on CD 11 we BD'd successfully using preseed, and then again on the morning of CD 13. That's all it took! So all in all we DTD on my first peak and my last high day. So it took us 3 months with the CBFM. I liked knowing that I was ovulating every month and peaking on the same days. That way I could narrow it down by comapring each month as to when we needed to BD to catch that egg successfully!

How long have you had your CBFM and been actively trying?

@JamesMom, that's great information thank you. Me and the DH starting trying in Jan of this year, but we were not serious we just stopped using contraception. The last few months I have been a little more serious using the OPK's and trying to BD around the O but I feel like my timing is way off. I just purchased the CBFM so I am actually on CD5 I think testing may begin tomorrow.. So this is our first month using it, I really bought to figure when I O, and I'm picking up some PreSeed this week to use that along with it. I just heard that the regular KY Gellee kills sperm, and that's what we have always used :(.

Fx' I'm feeling good, I will be sure to post if anything exciting happens like a BFP :)

Thanks for sharing your story, it's very helpful info.

congrats hon :) I'll add you to the list :)

I sadly experienced mys second miscarriage yesterday morning on Karissa birthday ): I have a appt today at two with my OB. I know getting pregnant not a issue/its staying the fetus didn't develope they told me basically something went really wrong with the cell formed together/sperm/egg and it stopped at 4 weeks and for whatever reason it took abit for my body to react and now it is. They might put me on a pill that will help me stay pregnant with whats going on in my body all update you all later.

On a really positive note Karissa had a good birthday and CHOWED her cake down LOL/she LOVED LOVED her Elmo chair and tea set :)

Duffy I'm so sorry to hear that. :( How difficult for it to happen on you r daughters birthday. :( How are you feeling? Let us know how your appointment goes.

The appt was pointless the OB doc was clearly not on the same page as the nurse grrrrr she still thought I was pregnant!!! I still have the hormones but I'm not she did a vaginal ultrasound it showed the sack passed/yesterday when we went into the ER we saw the sack so the worst of its done I'm in no pain today :)

Spirit wise I'm doing really well I know its not a issue getting pregnant its staying pregnant so I'm going to see a fertility specialist who will monitor me at the early stages and I'll be looking for a different OB doctor too. I know my body needs to heal a little but so we are tossing on the idea to try after once cycle or two I really don't want to wait 3 months. So I'm thinking two might do the trick :) But I'm doing good it sucked for it to happen on Karissa b day but I got threw it and now its a new today a new ttc beginning.

Shoot I gotta get K dressed you ladies have a good night Jamemom CONGRATS I bet your over the moon woot woot you did it girl see the CBFM really help us women get pregnant!

That's awful Duffy, however it does sound like they know what the issue is now.

Question, this is my first month using CBFM and today was the first test on CD6 and it said High. Is that normal to get highs so early on? Just thought I would ask since this is still so new to me.

Thanks!

Duffy we are all here to support you, hang in there!

Lucy girl this is my second month with the monitor, last month I got highs on about day 9 and 10 I think,if you check back on this thread it probably says.then I got two peaks and a high then back to low again.I have read lots though and loads of people have said that the first month they get lots of highs as the monitor is adjusting and trying to learn your cycle.so I am sure by next month your tests will be much more accurate.don't be disappointed if this month you don't get any peaks as that could be the monitor adjusting also. Hope this helps answer your question.
How long have you been TTC?

Xx

Thanks Princess, yes I just went through the older threads and you are probably right. I started TTC early this year, but we have been more serious about it the last few months. I'm 35, so hoping it doesn't take to long....hubby wants lots of kids lol..

I'm excited about using the CBFM, it's easy and not too time consuming.

Lucygirl, I got high from the start of testing until the peak/then one high and then all lows. So I think its really normal I would recommend keeping a calender as you can see a good pattern :)

Princess, thank hon I'm doing okay and I have some awesome news I going to see a fertility expert who will monitor my TTC and to Pregnancy :) I was told to wait three months but I don't think I can I think I'll give it until one normal period cycle. I'm now taking prenatal have a 30 day supply the ER gave me and after that I have a 30 day supply of fertility pills/that has prenatals in it too/gonna order some over the counter prenatals too. So getting my body ready again and this month I'm going to focus on working out and losing 10 pounds/next month 10 more that my goal. I weigh more then I weighed while pregnant with Karissa!!!!

So that pretty much my TTC plan. Oh yea and I'm using my fertility sticks I ordered over the net/not the cbfm as I need to order those for next month/out of money so settling for the other one I orded mainly bc its so important for me to make sure I'm ovulating normally/even after a miscarriage and to keep a record track.

Oh shoot I have a freaking cold and so does Karissa chase had such a rough night I was expecting a bad day but she been doing great. Gotta run she needs her mama but I wanted to check in with everyone and see how YOUR TTC progress is going????

Hows everyone feeling and doing?

Thanks!

It might be if you ovualte early! :) Just trust your monitor, it knows what it's doing. Plus sometimes it takes the first month for it to get to know you and your cycle. My monitor showed me only one high day every month I used it before I peaked on CD11 and CD12.

I'm feeling good. Still pretty much in shock about the whole thing!

When my husband came home yesterday I gave him the pregnancy test that I had put in a little box. He opened it and thought that it was a PEN! What the heck? It was pretty clearly stating "pregnant" on it, so needless to say I was pretty amazed that he didn't know what it was. He was SO excited and so am I!

That is awesome hon :) Men heehee thinking its a pin *laughter* I'm glad your both over the moon.

I caught a cold from one of the kids at my daughter b day party OMG its a bad one so I been down for the count except facebook. My daughter sick too so I'm sure you can imagine what I'm going through recovering from a miscarriage and a cold blah. I do have some good news the clinic is sending me a application for a medical loan so I can get fertility testing down to see what causing the embro to stop developing at four weeks. Just taking prenatals and chilling/set a weight goal for myself sadly been sick so no working out at the moment.
