February & March 2022 miracles

Lovely name!
We are thinking Max. No real reason whatsoever except it’s one of very few boys names I don’t hate, lol.

Haha I would be the same with Jake. Like the name is nice but BECAUSE of jake the dog in adventure time... confusing and hilarious!

Max is a lovely name!

20 weeks. The "official" mid point. I usually go with 18weeks 4days, LOL.

I decided to compare all my baby bumps at this stage... I think baby 2 was my smallest. Yet when I got pregnant I was at my "biggest". (Pre pregnancy bb1 was 118lbs, bb2, 125lbs, bb3 122lbs).

Tomorrow is my 20weeks doc follow up, and friday is the anatomy scan! Cant believe I managed to go 7 almost 8 weeks without seeing the little bean!

How's everyone?

Had my echo! 21+2.

Baby was doing super great and then... messed around so it took them 35mins to get a look at his heart and hands hahaha. He was kicking the whoooole time! Another energizer bunny like his brothers! My placenta is good now, so it was reabsorbed and all is all. My cervix measured long (so far I was 100% effaced at 30 weeks for both pregnancies) prolly will be that again, but at least at 21 weeks all is well. So. Shouldnt be in a risk zone for premature labor despite my tendency to go at 37 weeks

As you can see on the 4th picture, def a boy haha as the dna had said. Healthy baby!

Awww wonderful news all round! :) super happy all is looking good with the cervix and placenta, that's really nice <3 and that your lil boy is thriving in there <3 how are you doing?

How is everyone? It feels like bumpdate pics are due!

It's amazing how long it took to start looking pregnant hahah, but I'm loving it now :) just got a load of maternity clothes to try on! Still having a very easy time of things overall :D got our pushchair assembled so the cats get used to it before she shows up, will do the same with the crib soon ^_^ but christmas decorating comes first this weekend!

Had a growth scan today and it isn’t good!
He’s measuring just below the 3rd centile. I got sent straight for a ctg trace to be done, which was perfect. Now they want me to go in next week for fluid and a Doppler scan and another ctg, followed by a repeat growth scan in two weeks time, again with ctg. They will make a plan for the rest of my pregnancy at that point.

I did get a cute picture though, he looks SO like his daddy!

Hiya hon my neighbour just had her baby 2 weeks ago and her baby was on 3rd centile at 32 weeks. She had her early at 35+4 wks and she was 4lb 13oz so not too bad. Try not to worry. Can't believe how far you are already hope ure OK

@loeylo Im sorry about this stressful situation hun :hugs: DS1 was an under 5th percentile baby. My water broke on its own at 37+2 and he was 5lbs 13oz. He's just always been a skinny one (his 18months old brother weighs the same as him and hes 3yo). Sending positive vibe your way. Sometimes they're just tiny!

My doc was pretty calm about it, used to tell me you know we got kids who are 90th percentile, we gotta have some who are 5th! Thats the spectrum!

@loeylo super cute pic! Sorry about the bad news I'm afraid I don't understand any of these percentile measurements, only had my first checkup where they measure your bump and check bpm yesterday! No growth scans for baby, just belly checks ... I hope things work out

This babe is measuring on the 3rd centile. Expected to be 5lbs 2oz when I deliver on Wednesday at 37+4. They have monitored it well. I’ve just been having regular fluid / Doppler scans and CTGs. They have become every other day since 35 weeks just as precaution. Try not to worry, just make sure they keep an eye on you :)

We had our second growth scan today and baby is now head down no longer breech (not that it matters either way), I asked whether his head was engaged and the sonographer said not yet but not far off. All measurements were absolutely fine which I was abit worried about as I feel like bump has got massive over the last couple of weeks. He's current estimated weight is 4lb 6oz at the moment.
I have the next growth scan in 4 weeks which I will receive a letter through the post confirming the date.
I also had a call with the diabetic consultant to discuss my readings which have been fine. She said that they will now request the next growth scan and I will have my next consultant call in 4 weeks time when they will also book in the date to have cesarean. Eek it is all getting really now. Can't believe in 4 weeks time we will have a date of when our baby boy will be born.

Thanks for the reassurances! I had a fetal Doppler and fluid volume scan on Wednesday followed by a ctg and they are happy so far. I’m back on Wednesday for a repeat growth scan. Depending what happens on Wednesday, they’ll make a plan.
I am shielding as of Monday. Had to fight work pretty hard to get them to agree! According to their risk assessment pregnant women are no more at risk from becoming ill from covid 19 I quoted rcog advice to the contrary and they soon changed their stance.

That's crazy hon. Here pregnant womon are proriity to get the booster over everyone else.
I think its because alot of pregnant womon are getting covid.
I can't believe how bad its getting again now.
I feel so bad for u pregnant ladies it must be so worrying.

Not long for you now ladies I'm gonna be stalking this group like crazy over the next few weeks.
Think there's only 2 ladies left to go in the Dec group and then it's u ladies eeeeek.

@Trixiebell
That's a great weight hon. Harley was 4lb 15oz at 33 weeks.
I had him at 37+1 weeks and he was 7lbs 3oz.
Ure just weeks away now hon how exciting.

Had my follow up growth scan today - he’s grown 13oz so now up to 2lbs13. 30 weeks exactly which puts him just below the 10th centile. Really good news!
Everything is looking great and his CTG’s have been excellent so they are scaling stuff back a little - I will just need a growth scan every two weeks and they aren’t doing the CTGs unless there is a reason to do them.

The sonographer commented on how much he looks like his daddy based on his profile. We also saw him sucking his toes’

That's fantastic news hon. How cute he was sucking his toes awwwww.

Merry Christmas ladies

Thats great news @loeylo !!
That is slightly above what DS1 was, and he was almost 6lbs at 37 weeks!

Merry christmas and happy holidays ladies!

I had an OH moment this week, realizing I am a few days short of 27weeks with a history of going at 37 weeks.

I need to hustle and get this babys room ready! Our fourth bedroom upstairs has been my work from home office... now its half an office half a baby room. Gotta get hubby to move the rest to the bedroom in the basement and finish it up! Electrician has to come and add a few wall plugs (the bedroom set up I like doesn't match where the plugs are haha), and I also want a better heating system in there... probably a new ceiling light fixture.... plus the painting!

Its hustle time!

The 9th centile is based on a personalised growth chart based on my height and weight - I’m only 5ft2 so he’s probably going to be pretty small, but as long as he is just genetically small (as they suspect the case to be) they aren’t worried.

Ugh we also have a lot to do to get ready for baby! We have a three bed (bedrooms are decent sized too because it’s an older house!) but have decided that we will have the kids share a room for sleep and then share a playroom.

Both rooms were freshly decorated with new herringbone floors and white paint, but dd is getting a new bed and we need to put the baby furniture back in, and baby proof it by sectioning off areas for each of them (so I don’t need to worry about ds putting dds toys in his mouth etc)

Before ds is born we need to rearrange the living room and change some furniture to make room for a change station. We also need to change the hallway so we can get a pram past. And our bedroom needs plastered, painted, new flooring installed and new fitted wardrobes. And we need to break the old wardrobes down too!
So yeah, should probably get on some of that.

Ohh, I didnt know they did like personalized growth chart. Yeah I am 5feet2 and DH is 5ft6. So. No one was expecting big babies out of us haha
DS2 is like 15th percentile height at 19months haha.

Yeah I feel like the playroom is a muuust! We have 4 bedrooms upstairs one in the basement and one on the main floor (which is a playroom now) and yet somehow my living room is like playroom 2.0 anyways hahaha

Oh wow! I thought I had a lot of work haha! (Def baby proofing a little to keep the little toys away is super smart!) Were you super ready for the first one and slower on this one?

Hello ladies,
I hope you all had a good Christmas.

I did quite well over Christmas with my GD readings, they were all well within range and sometimes I thought that it was too good to be true.
Baby boy is moving around lots, sometimes it is a little uncomfortable but very comforting at the same time as it provides reassurance that he is doing ok (I was a little anxious yesterday morning as that is when I started to MC last year on Boxing Day).
We went out with a few friends yesterday and I don't know whether it was the walking about that did it but last night when we were walking home I was convinced baby was moving into my pelvis. I had to ask hubby to slow down and baby was pushing downwards, I said to hubby I feel like I need to walk bending forward to feel comfortable. I couldn't wait to get into bed just to take the pressure off.

We don't have a spare room to decorate so baby boy will be in our room until we move house, whenever we move.
I have bought some drawers to put his clothes in which I built a few days ago, we have the moses basket, baby bouncer (this is what my mum bought from when i was pregnant with S), pram. I just need to have a look through what we have a what we still need, I ordered a changing mat and moses basket stand which I need to pick up tomorrow. We aren't far off being ready but I just feel so unorganised as hubby has been decorating our bedroom and it seems to have gone on forever. He works nights so has been doing it on his days off, its taken about 6 weeks so far and still not finished. He has painted the walls and ceiling (although not great as I feel when he did it he rushed it as he hates painting), we've had a new carpet. We got a new bed which a family friend helped him build as wanted it done before Christmas. We just need wallpaper the chimney, paint the windowsil and put the new curtain pole and curtains up then it will be finished. It think I feel so unorganised qhen it comes to the bedroom as I am usually the one who does the decorating and it seems to have taken way longer than it should have.
