Do you have a gender preference?- I'd like a girl just because picking girls name's comes a lot easier to me and shopping for little outfits will be slightly more fun. Saying that I'd only want one girl and two boys just because I've been in a house with teenage girls fighting and its not fun.

Any names you like? Lots of boy names, very few girl names. We keep finding new boy names we like and we keep sticking to the same two girl names.


I'm really hoping that I can get the weight off. Jen and I have decided we are going to TTC with a friends sperm here at home for the first 2 months. Then we are going to use the help of the doctor and maybe use an unknown donor if the first 2 months of trying do not work. Can only hope.. right? Thanks for listening.

Hello ladies!
this is my first post on my first ever forum! so be patient if I make mistakes lol but here we go! I figured that this forum would be a good place for me as I am in a strange place in my life. half my friends are still in the uni/"go out and party every night" phase and the other half are married and have their first baby. where as I am in my final year of university (studying double major Biology and Child Psychology), engaged and very very ready to start my family.

Because of this I dont quite fit in with any of my friends so i am hoping I can fit in here!

I am 23 (24 next month) and have a wonderful fiancée who is also 4th year uni and two fur babies, a boarder collie called Zoe and a fat cat called Eli. I am SUPER excited to graduate this April and even more excited to start my own little family. My fiancee and I are getting married next summer and hope to start a family in 2013.... but it just seems so far away!

I hope that I can meet some girls on this board who share my situation and feelings and that we can talk about our impending motherhood. I am eager to make new friends so dont be shy! thanks for listening!

Reasons for WTT: We experienced two losses in a row (1st child Mikayla was stillborn at 35+3 and I just miscarried yesterday at an est. 6 weeks). DH and I feel as though the universe is telling us to take the time to grieve, collect ourselves, and also reconnect with each other as grief has really taken a toll on our marriage.
Anything you want to accomplish while in WTT, before TTC: Ideally, I would like many things to happen before TTC! I would LOVE to lose the weight I gained with my first pregnancy (I gained a whopping 50+ pounds on my 5'2" frame. 115 lb. was my pre-pregnancy weight). And I would also like to either find a stable, well paying job as a nurse before going back to school to continue my education in Nursing.
How many children would you like: DH and I used to dream of having 3 or 4 kids, but I would honestly take just 1 healthy, living baby. Pleeeease.
