I have been smoking for 17 years!!!
sounds so scary to say that out loud! I have been trying to cut down...but even finding that hard. I think i too am an all or nothing type of girl....so it will have to be nothing! This time next week i WILL be smokefree! That is my promise! And i want you ladies to make sure i dont break it!!
I was a smoker for 17 years! It is scary when you think about it
I have come to the conclusion i am an all or nothing girl als,m i've tried to quit so many times before but decided to be a social smoker when with friends. That does not work and its took me this long to realise it, lol
You just need to get through the first 3 days, i found them the hardest.
You can get nicotine replacement therapy from the doctors and becuase you are pregnant you won't have to pay! I have home visits from a lovely nhs lady, she also makes me blow in a machine to check my carbon monoxide levels so she knows if i am telling the truth or not. This is the first time i have never had a cheeky puff.
I gave up with my other two pregnancies but as soon as i found out i had a mmc the first thing i did was have a cig.
Well, i was certainly put to the test yesterday when i found out i had had a 3rd mmc, this time i didn't have a cig. I am so adamant that i am not going to smoke anymore, just having a puff on 1 would have annoyed me immensely this morning wen i woke
Instead, when i woke i was upset cos i not gonna be a mum yet but i was also flipping chuffed to pieces that i hadn't had a smoke
Just remember, get through the first 3 days
xxxxxxxxxxxxxx
P.s i was using the nicorette inhalator but only for first two weeks apart from yesterday when i had a puff on one but other than that i haven't used it for a week
Good luck everyone, its so worth it and
