Has anybody had charlie horse cramps during first trimester?

    Hi there! I am just wondering if charlie horse cramps are common in the first trimester. If so how many weeks or months?

    Yes. Eat Bananas!! that will keep them away! A Charlie Horse is basically a cramp in your leg. Bananas have potassium that helps elieviate that kind of issue... :)

    ohhhhhhh.. gotcha. lol! Yes I get cramp and restless legs. Hate it. I've eaten 2 bananas today strangely enough.. so we'll see if it works! ;) x

    Oh I see. Never heard that expression before! I have had a slight bit but not too much. I can't stand bananas!

    Iron is meant to be good for restless leg syndrome.. my mum swears by it :)

    .....Low Calcium can cause this too~

    I got cramps in my calf nearly every morning of the first tri with my son, it was worse when i stretched in a morning. It would go away eventually when i rubbed it, but it was painful. Nothing this time round.

    Never knew about bananas:dohh: Hope they help you

    thanks girls! both of my legs all the way down were cramping! had to get in my jet tub and add some aches and pains mineral salts! i am going to try to eat more bananas!!!!
