***January 2020 Testing Thread***

I haven’t yet, I’ve completely forgotten what to do lol DD is 5! When should I ring? I’m UK which I think makes a difference

In the US they say to call with the first positive. Then they get your appointment scheduled. Give them a call. See what they say.

As for me, test is definitely lighter today. I’m actually not to terribly upset at the moment. I am glad it doesn’t seem like it will go on too much longer. AF is due Thursday. We’ll see what happens. DH and I had a difficult talk about finances and what to do next. I’ll be sending my RE a message today to let him know what’s going on. I’m hopeful we can try the Clomid and maybe conceive next cycle again. I just want one more living baby.

Sooo the good news is that I was correct about my ovulation day (CD12) & our BD timing has therefore been flawless, but the bad news is that my temps have barely risen above the coverline since then - this has never happened before, the day after O my BBT usually rises by at least 0.2-0.3 degrees =(

Dont know if it's something wrong in the progesterone department or what.

Hope they rise a little higher in the next days, I'm already disappointed with this cycle because everything was going so well temp-wise and mucus-wise before O and I expected this dramatic clear temp shift after O and now this :(

Anways, 3 DPO as of now - may the TWW pass by quickly :coffee:

I wouldn’t worry about specific temps, especially so early on. It’s the overall pattern you’re looking for as there are other external factors that can impact on your temps. Hope this cycle is the one for you!

Good Morning all.

Very tired this morning, had horrible insomnia last night... a sign AF is a day or 2 away. Another BFN this morning, 11DPO. I think we are out this month, though temperature has still not dropped yet. Again, not too disappointed as we originally had planned to WTT until February.

So happy to see all the BFPs!

Lightening - will probably be joining you in the February testing month. I hope you get some answers from your doctor.

Thank you ladies so much. I get a bit anxious as my symptoms aren’t anything right now. My boobs were super sore at first but now I feel nothing. ): bit my lines are darker today! So trying not to stress about it. 4w3d today! I hope I’m not breaking any rules for showing progress out of anxiety lol

Hon I know its so hard not to worry and I wud be a hypocrite if I said I didnt worry during the first 24 weeks of pregnancy. It's so hard when u have had Misscariges In the past. But giiiiirl those BFPs are blazing positive which is a good sign that all is well.
Also my symptoms kept on disappearing and then coming back again and I was really worried but was told its normol.
I had sore boobs and nausea from very early on like 4 weeks and at around 6 weeks it all vanished but then the sore boobs came back with vengeance and by 8 weeks they were very sore. My nausea came back at 8 weeks then it went away again but came back real bad at 11 weeks so it's really normol for symptoms to come and go. Just wanted to give u some reassurance. Ure tests look amazing congratulations

I've had 5 tests that turned a faint pink positive after the time period of the tests. 4 were First Signals and 1 a dollar store test. I would chalk it up to the First Signal and it being known for odd evaps, but the fact that I took a dollar tree one and it did the same thing? What do you guys think? I'm planning on getting a FRER on friday.

Sounds promising!!

You're totally correct of course. I'm just already worried about my progesterone (since I have some LP spotting in every other cycle) so those low temps post-O just confused me a little especially because I usually get such a big spike after O. I also know I'm probably overthinking

Temp went up quite a bit today so I'm all good again! 4 DPO, 8 days left until test day!

Thank you so much. My partner is 54 so I think our chances are kinda slim and even if I fall it's very high risk for abnormalities and miscarriage (I have history of miscarriages too) but I still can't bring myself to give up just yet. Neither of us drink or smoke and lead a pretty healthy lifestyle so I'm hoping that counts for something!
I wish you lots of luck too, my sister in law just had a baby at 40 (her 6th) so you have a really good chance esp with hubby still being in his 40's too. Baby dust!!! :)
Just having a catch up on the thread and wanted to say my partner is 54 (55 in March) I'm 37. We are currently 9 weeks pregnant. It has taken us 16 cycles to get here but it does happen. I have pcos and Antiphospholipid syndrome which goes against us plus I've had 6 losses. Good luck! X

@Kwipeh I definitely see the line on that one on my phone without even clicking on the picture to enlarge! Fx!!!

@TransDad I would be wary of it being after the time limit, but hopefully it's a good sign that a BFP is coming!
