January mommies!! ITs our turn!

I think I am most nervous about getting to the hospital in a snow storm. Especially if they keep pushing a natural delivery on me. It's a 40 minute drive to the hospital without snow, and getting there with snow would be a nightmare. We get quite a bit of snow here, and we had a snow storm a few weeks ago, but it's gone now. Hoping it snows less than normal here this year.

I'm due Jan 22nd and I can't wait!! I've been thinking back to when I first found out I was pregnant, and I realise how LONG pregnancy is!!

Christmas and early Jan always fly by, because it's summer here in NZ, and of course Christmas is a busy time, so I'm counting on our due dates coming up fast!

I have been thinking a lot lately about the actual birth tho, and the thought of those contractions freak me out (I've done it 3 times before so know what I'm in for!!).

But still, I can't wait!!! xxx

wow its summer there!! thats awsom i live in a cold and snowy state and i hate it. ITs sooo cold here and i hate snow lol. I wish my LO would be born in summer haha

Yeah, I love summer and I hate the cold!!! It gets really, really difficult being huge and hot tho!! This is my 4th pregnancy, and I've only had one winter baby! Well, late August actually, which is almost spring. So it's been good timing on my part (but not intentional!!!).

It's kinda cosy thinking about being all wrapped up nice and snug with a new baby tho, next to a fire while it snows outside. I think I'm romanticising snow, because we don't get any where I'm from. I imagine it being all white and fluffy and gorgeous!!!!!!!! I guess I'm wrong??!!

It is really nice with snow and is beautiful as long as you can stay inside. But when you have to go to work omg what a nightmare. I also do like that you can cuddle with your LO but i wish that i would be able to take my baby out more often but cant you know because its soo cold. My dd is a febuary baby so another winter baby lol and yes it was unitentional lol

Exciting! I'm due 1st jan so only 6 weeks to go now! Got a 34 week growth scan today can't wait :) xxx

It's scary how quickly it has come around... It is only in the last 2 weeks that I have started to really look pregnant. But with that I am suddenly exhausted too! Until now the horses have not been an issue, but it's definitely started to take me longer and longer to get them worked and their stables etc done.

Hi :flower:

Just read through the thread, can't believe how many Jan babies there are out there, yay! :D Congrats everyone xx

I'm due with our first on Jan 9th, a little girl we're calling Willow Rose :pink:

After a very rocky first and second trimester, third has been for me, and apart from the usual minor bits and pieces I feel great, woo!!

Counting days down to finish work - 3 weeks left!!

xx

I am starting to think that although January 'sounds' far away it is actually gonnabe here so quick! Nervous for labour! Poor oh having to do so much more now as I'm just too tired, although the bonus is that he now gets a feel for how much I actually do lol, wait til January! Lol

Good morning ladies!!! :)

I'm soooooooooo knackered this morning, couldn't get out of bed! I was in that sort of deep sleep where it was impossible to rouse myself! I keep thinking I shouldn't be THIS tired yet since I'm still only 31 weeks!

I know the feeling! I get up do kids pack uncles n help oh get them ready for school then takes them whilst have breakfast wash up etc, the get back in bed for a bit lol! House work was all done yesterday so can do it guilt free!

Worst thing is I still have to work, but luckily I can work from home some days per week otherwise I don't know how I'll survive. Am thinking of going on mat leave one week earlier than planned now - which isn't much but I think will help me greatly psychologically!

Thanks yellow buttons. Yeah so glad baby is good, had trouble getting my wedding ring off this morn tho, eek! Will get doc to take bp today, fingers crossed x
