Protocol (meds taken): Repronex...Lupron...HCG trigger
How many follicles at ER:
How many eggs retrieved: 13
How many eggs fertilized: 11-12
How many days between ER and ET: 3 days both fresh cycles and 5 days for the FET
How many and quality/rating of embryos/blasts transferred: blast was excellent and only 1 survived the thaw and growth
How many days bed rest: none
Symptoms or issues during 2WW: nothing
What day you got your BFP: 6 days past 5 day transfer
HPT before blood test: yes...a few!
Number of first beta: 300+
Number of babies: 1
Anything else you would have wanted to know before you started this process:
It's not bad at all and I would do it again in a HB if we had the money...

It seems like a lifetime ago that I posted on this thread. And now, I have a precious 6 week old baby in the next room, sleeping sweetly in his swaddle linens.

Hopefully I have some positive news to post here soon. My transfer is Thursday! 2nd cycle. I got preg last cycle and had a m/c at 6 weeks. Doctor said it was the embryos but this cycle the embryos are nice and strong so I am prayingggggggggggg they stick!!! GL to everyone!!!!!

Hello, I had no idea this thread was here till today! wow so exciting!!!

Well I have done my IVF and based on HPTs so far it seems it worked. Hard to count my blessings just yet though so waiting until Monday to see what the blood work shows.

Anything else you would have wanted to know before you started this process: I would have liked to know how the medication really makes you feel bc I was a hot mess

i've read through this thread so many times.. i can't believe i'm actually posting here!!

How many IVF did you do before success: worked first time
Are you using donor eggs or sperm: yes, donor sperm
Protocol (meds taken): bcp, long lupron, gonal f, luveris
How many follicles at ER: not sure
How many eggs retrieved: 13 mature eggs!
How many eggs fertilized: 11 w/icsi
How many days between ER and ET: 3
How many and quality/rating of embryos/blasts transferred: 2 "excellent" embies, 8 cell grade 3 (top grade at my clinic)
How many days bed rest: 2 days strict, 1 additional day being lazy
Symptoms or issues during 2WW: usual progesterone side effects of fatigue and sore bbs, but also bloating, slight constipation, some cramping
What day you got your BFP: 8dp3dt
HPT before blood test: like 10 of them!!
Number of first beta: 220.3 at 12dp3dt. 2nd beta was 437 2 days later.. is that good?
Number of babies: don't know yet.. first u/s in 2 weeks
Anything else you would have wanted to know before you started this process: it's probably better that i didn't know how crazed i'd be on all the meds, lol otherwise i researched the heck out of everything and felt well informed.
