Afternoon ladies!
Goooshhhhh what a drama i've had!
I ended up getting ill too, every time I was sick I had some kind of seizure! It was terrible! Never happened to me before.
Feeling pretty much back to my normal self now, just a bit drained.
Douglas is getting better too, still not 100% and he's got a case of messy nappys too. Eurgh! Got to call the doc in a minute, gonna get him checked out just to be safe. I'm sure its just a case of waiting it out and making sure he drinks plenty!
And fiance is completely back to normal! Hopefully me and Douglas will get there in a few more days.

Havent been able to temp properly as you can guess the nights have been a bit manic.
Did one the other day which was still above coverline so who knows.
Haven't had any ewcm or any other signs though so still possibly havent ovulated yet.
I'm glad I havent missed it through all of this sickness! I either just about caught it at the start or havent ovulated yet. Was forecasted 18th -20th fertile days with the 21st being day of O'ing so will try and get some bding in over the next few days now we're feeling a bit better.
Hoping to get back to temping tomorrow morning so i can try and figure out whats going on!

Fairyy, I didn't get any IB with either of my pregnancies! (1 miscarriage, and 1 Douglas!) Not long til you get an answer then, how exciting. Hoping AF stays well away for you!!

MrsC Hope you had a lovely anniversary!! What did hubby decide?? lol!!

Well we both had to work yesterday so he was too tired to even get to the point of needing to finish. Lol so no decision was needed to be made... BUT tonight is 5 years as a couple so who knows!! Lol

I am glad you are feeling better... Seizures?!? How scary!! And poor baby, hope he gets all better very soon... Sick babies are the saddest! Xoxo keep healthy dear!

ica: Take good care dear. Be healthy n happy. And about ovulation, what I see from your chart I think cd9 is too early to ovulate if u have 29/30day cycle. So I guess its just around the corner.

Hello! I was also on the pills for 5 years. I just stopped the pill this past Sunday. My hubby and I are 29 and we have two daughters of the ages 10 and 5. We have been married for 11 years. He is my high school sweetheart! My husband was reading about birth conrtol pills Sunday and said to me that he does not want me to take them anymore! I was extremyl happy to hear him say that! My husband says that he does not want to try for one but he is not preventing it either. Now yesterday he says it would be nice if you get pregnant in December since his birthday is in that month! I hope my cycles will not take a long time to get back to normal. Now that I read your post MrsCorny it is stressful trying to plan to get pregnant. I just started to take my temps this week and now I fell like I should just stop since it is very stressful. I should just let nature run its course like I did the last two times! My husband and I did not plan for our two daughters at all. I think I will do the same this time.

All the best to you hun! We don't have kids yet so I can't say from experience, but from the "outside" it seems like just letting it happen is the best and least stressful way to go! Enjoy the freedom of being off the pill!

MrsCorny, Thank you so much! Monday I spent hours on my computer looking up different things on conceiving that I got an headache! I think I was just researching too much. I could not even finish my homework that I had for one of my courses. I am going to college for BS in Healthcare Management. I am taking a break in September (which I think it is a needed break, been in college since 2008, this is my 2nd degree) since I have exhausted all funds and I will return in Jan. I only have 3 courses left to graduate. My hubby told me that I do not need to stress about school that much since I am almost there. He told me it is not good for my body at all and plus for high blood pressure. For two days I have leraned to relax finally! LOL!! I will enjoy being off that pill indeed!

Took my temp this morning, had the fan on me full blast and no covers sleeping nakey so I was more than cool in this heat wave, if anything I was a bit chilly lol! But my temp was at my peak again. No idea what's going on with my temps.

Welcome momwife! Shouldn't take too long for your cycles to get back to normal. When I came off the pill a few years back my cycles just carried on as though I was still taking it!

Again wondering what happened mrs corny haha!

Laura, did you manage to temp this morning? Was Oscar a good boy for you I hope!

So we DTD last night but he used pull out. Even tho I do want to wait til I finish school... I still felt a little disappointed, but yet relieved at the same time knowing I don't have to make that decision... Cuz who knows what would've happened... I just want both so much, baby now and school... But it would be probably more than I can handle. Haha

(still waiting to see if I get in... Transcripts due by 8/5... Just waiting for it to go thru... Had to use snail mail to request my transcripts from community college to be sent to the university... I really want this. I'm being Imaptient...Lol)

And welcome, Lucy! I'm a newbie as far as charting and all that goes, too. I'm curious as well but Hubby and I not TTC yet- afraid i may make him nervous or ill know just when to do it and get all weepy if it doesnt happen haha. Hello ladies! I want to temp now but the right way. I guess I am just anxious to figure out my cycle. What is the right way to temp? Do I have to take it the same everyday? I read on one website that you have to still be in bed to take your temp. I am so happy that I am off birth control pills.

Welcome Lucy and Momwife.

Lucy I temp but not same time everyday. I go to washroom take my temp and note it down. I keep my bbt there. It works for me. But the results are more reliable if u do it same time everyday. My DH doesn't know that I temp that's why I do it that way. He doesn't want me to obsess over it as we are NTNP. Sometimes I only do it for cd10 to cd20 to know when I ovulate then I stop temping for that cycle. Your temperature will rise after ovulation. It will be above coverline in the luteal phase (after ovulation till next AF). U can put your temperature on Fertility Friend. It will show u what your coverline temperature is and when u ovulate. After 3days of high temperature it will give u crosshair. Try FF for a month or two. U will get a better idea.
