So I decided to take a cheapie opk tonight now that I'm getting closer to my expected O date and it came back so positive. I took one around 12 this afternoon & it was still so light! I quickly grabbed my CB opk and that came back w/the smiley face positive. So I guess I'm going to O early but I wonder if I'm on the upswing? I have no ewcm but my cervix is high. I can never really tell open vs. closed. We planned to bd anyways so I guess I'll be covered either way. I'm glad I tested twice

I used CB digi this last cycle that I got my BFP on. I got a smiley face on CD10, but then got EWCM on CD12. Then I kept testing and got another smiley face on CD15 and CD16(+ in the AM, but - in the PM). I am guessing that the first smiley face on CD10 was the start of my fertile period, but I did not Ov until CD15-16. We ended up BD'ing CD10, 12, 15(twice), and 16 just to be safe. Keep testing, you may OV a few days later than you think.

Thanks, it's nice to hear from you! I hope all is going well for you and the It's only a few days earlier than I thought and planned to bd starting Sun-Sat every other day so I'll keep testing to see when my surge goes away. Plus my bbt should show when I've O'd. Trying pre-seed this time too. Gearing up for Hurricane Sandy so if the power goes out then all the better for . to all!

Good luck with the Pre-Seed. I have heard success stories from it. My CB digi kit came with a small package. We used it when I got my first smiley since I thought it was Ov time, but it wasn't so I never got to really use it right. (My DH said he liked it though so I guess that's a plus for the partners!)

I've been temping since the 18th so about 11 days I always take it every morning at the same time and I do it while I'm still in bed, I use fertility friend! I have the mobile app too since I don't have a computer and its so easy but my only concern is it looks like my temps were up and down I'm still new to the website so I'm not sure how to post especially since I can only do things with the Mobil apps I'm thinking I O'd yesterday but not sure if it is too early AF left on the 22nd is it possible? Idk please help me ladies!

Hmm, I think it would definitely be possible that you O'd yesterday considering your AF timing. What day of your cycle are you on, and how long are they usually? Did you notice any EWCM?
It would be much easier if we could actually look at the chart though. When you say "up and down", by how much do you mean? My temps are also not always the exact same, the still fluctuate a bit. And once FF detects that your temperature was rising and it stays up for 3 days (I believe) it will indicate that you ovulated.

My turn to agree with AuCa My temps are never the same either. FF always says not to worry about individual temps, it's just a pattern you're looking for. So once you get 3 days of high temps, FF will give you crosshairs to pinpoint your O day and give you a coverline. The coverline is just a visual tool to help you see how your preO temps are in a low range and your post O temps are in a higher range.

I have the app too and there is a button for sharing, but I've never used it. I think you can email a link, but not sure what happens after that!! Or just type out all your temps here and we'll try to help

Do you ladies that use FF use the VIP version? My trial is running out and I don't know if it's worth paying $45 for the extras.

Ya, I signed up for the VIP version last month. Personally I love all the additional little gadgets/statistics etc, but I really think it depends on the person. I'm just very "nerdy" that way - love the overlays and statistics etc.

I'm with you, I love all the technical and analytical stuff. I also like the extra search options and features that VIP offers.

It depends on when you catch the surge. If you catch it on the up then you probably have about 24-36 hrs until the egg releases. But if you catch it on the down you might have about 12hrs. When you're getting close you'll want to test twice a day once in the afternoon and another at night.

I think it depends on the woman regarding how long it lasts and the stage you test in. I tested last night and got a strong +. Tested this morning (CB opk) and this afternoon and I'm still +. I'll probably be + till tomorrow am and then it'll be gone. I'm guessing I'll O tomorrow making my egg viable until Wed then it's gone.

It is possible to still O w/out seeing a LH surge depending on when you test. You may have taken one test before your surge is detectable by the kit and another test when your LH has already begun to trail and is no longer detectable by the kit.

Keep testing, it comes on as a surprise sometimes. I would bd before your expect surge anyways since the sperm can live for a few days. Do you have any other signs like EWCM? I don't have any yet but they say that you can still O without it.

I have caught a positive result from an opk a couple of times, but definitely not every month, and I've been trying to track o for a while before we actually started ttc. I'm pretty regular, almost always 28 days, so I should be ovulating today. Maybe I did and just didn't catch it on the tests or maybe urine concentration wasn't right, idk.

As for other symptoms, I'm feeling really bloated and crampy which is a good sign for me. Also, tmi alert sorry, but lots of cm. Not necessarily the stretchy stuff, but I'm really wet. Sorry, that's a bit grim, but true lol.

Still nothing going on over here in my cycle. It's really seemed to stabilize the past few days, and not doing much of anything.
If I don't see spotting or AF in a few days I decided to try and induce it with progesterone cream and move on to another cycle!
Next cycle I plan to use royal jelly from the start to hopefully help with a healthy ovulation!

Well got my Smilie yesterday afternoon....dtd Saturday and Sunday and Monday morning and Monday night, Got a smile again this morning...dtd the deed this morning. Will do again tonight and tomorrow morning. Using preseed..praying for a BFP. Do you think I am covering all my basis? Should I keep bd'ing til no smilie???? I got a smilie cycle day 11...I usually o on day 14 which would be tomorrow. Thank you!!!!

Shannon I think you're covered!!! In fact you need to be a little careful about DTD too much as your OH's sperm won't have time to regenerate.

This month we were trying to follow the SMEP, which says to DTD three nights in a row from getting a +OPK, so that's what we've done. Sorry for wwwaaaayyyyy TMI here but the last time we DTD, DH even said to me he thinks we need to give it a rest for a day as he feels he is running out of juice!!!

I was just thinking it would be so weird if I did o in the next few days and get pregnant. The last time I fell pg was actually Hallowe'en 2010 and we had a party, DH liked my witch outfit a little too much haha So if I fell pg this cycle the due dates would be nearly the same....thinking wwwwaaaaaaaayyyyyyyyy too far ahead here! Just thankful 100mg clomid is working, I'm happy with that for now

So I already got a "high" reading on my CBFM today (CD8). Which really confuses me, as my last cycles have all been fairly long, and as far as I understand there should be only max 5 days of "high" before ovulation.

I guess this means that either this cycle will be short/normal, or that the monitor is getting used to my body still. Hmmmm.

Can you use the CBFM w/irregular cycles? I was looking into them to see if it would work for me. I thought I read you have to start using the test when it tells you to but if you have long cycles then you'll be testing a long time and the tests are kind of expensive.
