Lucky March Testing Thread

I really meant to say just give it a few days, even with HCG blood levels they don't see you for 24-48 hrs. after the first blood draw...so it just makes sense that it would be the same way for home pregnancy tests as well. When I test for pregnancy and if my test is negative, I have "patience" and wait it out for a few days or even a week. I would really just listen to the nurse and let things happen (if it's meant to be, things will pull through).

Mummy23beauts; I am not surprised they didn't take your bloods. If you are bleeding heavily, there is no way that you could be pregnant with a viable baby. Any heavy bleeding in pregnancy is horrible in the beginning so more than likely it doesn't work out. I would listen to the nurse, stop testing, and just the face the fact that you are miscarrying/have miscarried.
Number 1. My second son was a twin pregnancy, I bled ridiculously and lost twin a bit my son lived so Iv had something similar but still ended up with a baby.
Number 2. I bled with my first daughter and the cause was burst cysts.
So yes you can have a viable pregnancy with bleeding.
The attitude you gave with your comment was uncalled for. I won’t be posting again I’m hurting enough as it is.

@Peanut202134 tone can come across differently when written rather than spoken. I have seen 2 posts that sound rather harsh.....especially on this thread where someone is obviously having a very hard time. You may not mean it to sound that abrupt or harsh but I'd re-read before you post. Ladies here tend to be very support of each other, it's a safe place to visit.

Also with my first mc, I was 2 or 3 days into bleeding quite heavily and after they did a scan(where they couldn't see the pregnancy and it was quite clear it wasn't good news) they took bloods for hcg and then again 2 days later. So it does happen....and this is the UK where they don't do bloods as much as the USA for example.
The rest I've just been asked to do a pregnancy test 2 weeks later.

Here if you need us @Mummy23beauts don't let 1 person chase you away in your time of need xx

sometimes its not what you say but how you say things. she has already said she knows its likely to be a loss, but we are all human and hope that there is hope til it is confirmed. bleeding doesnt always mean a loss, as theres many reasons for bleeding while pregnant! if you want support in a forum you have to give what youd want in return! compassion is a big thing in this whole ttc business because not everyone has the same journey or has it easy. and you dont even know her full story because you only been here recently so please think before you reply to someones post!

She came off as very rude and obviously don't know what you've been going through.

You know we dont mind you posting, some times it helps to get out what you're feeling. We love ya and are here for you ❤

Yes we are here for you!

I'm 7-8 dpo and this morning started cramping, it was light and since I usually start cramping at around 10 dpo I took it as a good sign! But now it's intensifying... A lot, like af is coming today or tomorrow... I've never have such a short lutheal phase :-( anyone's ever had this and ended pregnant?

I’d say the cramping was a good sign, I had quite a lot of it before I got my bfp and the week before af was due. Gl testing x

Yes I have been using the early response because they are way more sensitive. But I have a few different brands lol
Does it look like there is progression from yesterday to today? If not that’s ok i just am having the hardest time telling
Especially because these are known for evaps.
